My dear Canadian mama, I know that drug, you feel good when you withdraw for a few days, but when the MS recoups ehn, you would be worse than ever.
Please try to get the drug back, you would know when to stop finally.
It will get better, I have a lot of food aversions, even in second trimester, I don't even bother again, I just eat to survive.

My dear it’s not a small thing. I couldn’t go to work yesterday cos of all day sickness/vomiting. Later went to get a refill of the drug so I can be normal again and I’m doing great today. I hope the drug keeps working and MS gradually stops.

Don't worry very soon it end with our babies in our arms and smiling back at us.
On d issue of water just keep drinking nd trying wat works for u... I don't drink water but I later found a solution to it, sometimes I drink cold water, normal room temperature water, ors too. Just manage nd drink small small u hear...
God will bless our DH d are so wonderful.

Lol @getting groove back. MS is still embracing me. Doc prescribed a drug to reduce it and I’ve been feeling better taking It. Just ran out of the drugs and I decided to chill a bit to see if it had reduced on its own. Lol big mistake. I’m going back on drugs ASAP. DH deserves a degree for cleaning my vomit. I still can’t drink water plus I can’t stand rice anymore! In any form. Rice smells like kerosene to me now.
Can’t wait to get to the end of this journey.

Please o, do people still have their bath at such low temperatures? Sometime in January, my paddy in Calgary shared a -32 degrees screenshot with me and it literally froze me here in Nigeria.

Some people's teeth clatter vigorously during harmattan of 22 degrees here, how much more these numbers that are fit for building igloos.

Lol of course you can have your bath. It’ll be warm indoors with functioning heaters plus you can always turn your shower to hot and enjoy a warm bath.

The only people with any hope of a mild winter are the Torontonians - and even that is a slim hope. The rest of you guy folks to the north and south of the province should brace for a traditional Canadian winter, i.e. harsh cold and wind. The gods have decided it so prepare and make the most of it.

Winter can be a lot of fun if you don't fight it and accept it.

It’s not even funny in the toronto. Jan/feb this year, temps went as low as -22. I wonder how those up north Canada survive tbh. Maybe Vancouver wouldn’t be as bad.

And that was how my EDD passed today and this baby just balance with no show.

me I've been taking cold stuff since from day one even with the cold (winter period) I still drink chilled water from fridge hubby will be like that's what helped me with nausea and still helps with saliva

Is it not DH that told sis in law and my mum that I love taking all those things, then all of them started calling me and warning not to take them after I came back from hospital, I do add small milo sometimes and drink small cold water when he's not home, but no ice cream cos he buys them himself. They said it will make my baby big, make labor painful, cause asthma/make my baby cold which is not good. They said a lot sha. It is well

Oh I see. I don’t think drinking cold stuff can cause a child to be asthmatic cos the water even attains room temperature in the stomach.

Cappo Cappo, weldone mama. We are doing great. Two weekends ago I wasn't active here cos I was in pains, right side of my abdomen, DH rushed me to hospital, they were doing sme sme, until DH used his voice to bring down the hospital, before a doctor attended to me. I still don't know what caused that pain cos I couldn't even walk but I suspect Round Ligament pain. Last Monday, during antenatal I told the gynecologist that attended to me what happened over the weekend, the Olodo guy prescribed Tramadol for us which the hospital pharmacy gave us. Just imagine, they want my baby to start getting high from the womb. It's still in my locker, I refused to take it with other drugs he prescribed, cos I doubt he knows what he is doing, but we feel a lot better now, besides insomnia and constant movement/kicking. I still miss sleeping on all sides. I miss milo in my tea, Ice cream, cold drinks etc
Baby's sex confirmed to be XY, blood group confirmed to be Rhesus negative so I'm taking Anti-D after delivery.
I feel nervous and excited
I have a prayer point please. Please help me beg God that I don't want to port to January. Gracias

My nipples hurt so much.. And my breast itches me.. Am still getting used to the change of my breast. I don't really like how my breast is looking but I guess I have no choice..am almost done with my second trimester and I have not experienced any leaking(colostrum).please should I be worried?.. What can I do to my itchy breast and hurt nipples?

I don’t know any remedy for nipple pain, maybe embrace your package as for the breast itch, it’s possible your skin is dry. Ensure you start moisturizing very well with oils to avoid stretch marks. You said you’re almost done with second trimester, aren’t you my teamie again? Team may? We are just entering second trimester

Nope, as long as it’s lemon and not lime. Lemon is actually good for the body even while pregnant.

I experienced it too and I also read that it’s normal. I feel it on my left side too especially when I try to stand or change position while lying down. I think it would go on it’s own though.

What does round ligament pain feel like?

I came to ask about round ligament pain Cos I was feeling some pains on my right and left sides(not the uterus). I searched online and saw that it’s normal. I actually thought it starts later in pregnancy. I’m 12weeks + so I wasn’t sure.
Anyway, I called my hospital and my doctor says it’s round ligament pain, totally normal and due to uterus stretching to accommodate the baby. I also spoke to a nurse who suggested yoga exercises and stretches to help.
Who has tried yoga for round ligament pain before?

What does round ligament pain feel like?

MS is still dealing with me when it’s supposed to be subsiding. I did a scan yesterday and my baby just crossed its legs and put the hands behind the head. This baby is relaxing and deliberately punishing me Lol
