Please help me here. Am applying for a 2 year visa for i and my wife but these are my issues.

I have made 2 huge withdrawals from my account to save in another account ( Which i ended up spending anyway) in other to block that those two withdrawals from been visible in my statement is it advisable to tender a 3 months Bank statement as against the regular 6 months?

I will so appreciate your help in answering these two questions.

Making withdrawals is not a bad thing, if anything, it shows activity on the account, also implies in a way that money is readily available to you.

Print your 6mths and explain the huge withdrawals

By any standards, a 1yr 8mths old child is not up to school age! So that evidence does not add any significant value to your application Sir. Please go ahead and apply but ensure you attach her birth certificate to show fillial relationship.

You may wish to include that if you feel it will help you. But the fact that the trip seem to be fully sponsored by the Father is consent in a subtle way.

I included a parental consent during mine because I was the one sponsoring our trip. My payslips, bank statements were used so I had to bring in something from their father to add credence to my application.

Kids visa are easy once the accompaning parent has a valid visa and funds is not an issue.

1.How do I get their applications to be treated as one? Is it possible to link their applications? (Forms, submission, apppointment/biometrics, collection etc)
Please, note that we're using a single letter of invitation that carries all their names.

2. The cost of travelling part, is it right to fill just their flight expenses? Or do I need to include shopping, sightseeing and others?

3. Do I need to draw up an itinerary for them too?

4. Apart from their letter of invitation, host's documents, school records, birth certificates , father's payslips and bank statements, what other documents should I include please?

1. For form submission, Everybody has to fill a seperate form. However, link them by referring to each other wherever they ask if you are travelling with any other person. For Biometrics, Try and book appointment for same day even if it is not same time. Go at the first appointment time and let the staff at TLS know, they will merge all 3 applications into one. For collection, once they are captured together, you can be rest assured collection will be together as it is same ECO that will treat the application.

2. When i applied for my kids, all i did was put a bugdet! I didn't breakdown into expense heads. If you choose to, please go ahead and include sightseeing, transportation etc but leave out shopping(It is not a must)

3. Yes. Same itinerary would suffice for all 3kids

4. Include your current visa, expired visa's if you choose to also, marriage certificate. Their school documents will also help. You can get a letter from their educational provider addressed to UKVI to that effect.

As for your hotel reservation, just the print out showing your reserved dates will suffice.

If your refusal is overturned, I believe UKVI will notify on how to go drop your passport back to TLS for the visa vignette.

As for your friend, refund for cancelled visa application takes 28 working days before it reflects back in your linked account. You might be lucky to get before 28, but that is the standard wait time.

Just to understand something. If your employers were sponsoring you, did you attach their bank statements? Any letter corroborating that from your HR department attached?

Isn't it contradictory that you also plan to 3k pounds on an all expense paid trip?

So, my question is, since I am the one filling the form, if I upload all the supporting documents via TLS, does she need to take any hard copies with her? i.e. does she go with her passport only for biometrics? Or to ask another way, what documents does she need to take in addition to passport?

Also, does anyone have an indication of availability of biometrics slots. I am looking to wrap up the application by tomorrow / Tuesday and book biometrics thereafter.

If you choose to upload all the supporting documents from your end, all she needs to go with is her checklist, passport and appointment confirmation.

As regards availability of biometric slot, you have to monitor closely for dates f you choose to go with non paid appointments. But if you do not mind paying for primetime appointments, those are available for everyday.

From what Opomulero said, he got his visa despite submitting a flight reservation that was cancelled few hours after booking the flight. That settles the fact that they don't call to confirm flight reservation. Thanks for your contributions. I will show these conversations to him and ask him to use the reservation when the time comes.

You should realise that every Clearance officer treats application that come to them differently! That someone else used it and had no issues doesn't make it obtainable. What if the officer handling his matter dey vex that day and look for the slightest mistake to show him or herself?

Like Nchabuomo asked, why do people add irrelevant document's? If you must include an unsolicited document, at least make it a valid and current one (My opinions!)

The multipurpose cooperative savings of N5mil in the eye of the ECO (my opinion here pls) is not funds readily available to you. If you choose to apply again, better liquidate it into your salary acct and have a document/explanation to back it up.

Also, your closing balance on your (funds readily available to you)Salary acct was N1mil for a trip budgeted to gulp N1.5m
