mamacajah: @ princeadeade, congrats on the successful delivery of your baby. I paid $430 for my baby's ticket one way and even though I had booked for bassinet quite early, I ended up carrying my baby on my laps all the way home. fortunately my mum was with me so we took turns. I don't think their staff really know what the fees are, they keep giving conflicting information that ends up making you pay more than planned for. If you plan to use Delta, ensure you dont plan to do any changes, the cost is really high. personally I think Delta is not nursing mother friendly. hello mamacajah, how did you make the $430 and what was the excuse they gave for not providing a bassinet for your baby? |

5minsmadness: Oh for goodness sake! The hypocrisy and self-righteousness on this thread is utterly disgusting! The lady simply poured out her heart, how she feels and is looking for a listening ear, NOT JUDGEMENT!
Those ladies above me prattling their mouths and behaving like mother Theresa should swear on amadioha's shrine that the same.thoughts won't cross their minds if they were to be in the same ladies shoes! Haba. She is looking for help, not condemnation. Some already calling her evil stepmother.
Family section indeed! You know this bro? So many hypocrites in this section. That's why I hardly visit here. Ewwwwwwwww. |

HotChoco2: Madam take some chill pills, i already have most of the info i need from here because i took time to read the thread. I am just talking on behalf of other people. Some comments on going to read the whole thread are not nice at all. I just think we can all get along without being mean and bitchy to each other.
Who are you to say what another person is saying is stupid? You are also talking as if all you did on this thread was give, i am sure you got good info as well. I am sure if the people before you on this thread were this mean then we wont have good info like we do now.
Stop playing God!
Live and lets live!
*drops mic* Mean and bitchy? Yet you gave that lame argument up there. I got good info because I read through the thread and it would have been boring and more rigorous for me If I repeatedly ran into the same info on the same topic while reading through. I can't relate to lazy people like you dear. We don't speak the same language. I don't understand you. I don't want to understand you. Now do yourself a favour and stop quoting me. |

HotChoco2: I am fairly new as a member on this thread but i have always been a guest reader. I think we should cut the newbies some slack on this issues of reading the thread from the beginning. As at today, the thread has 350 pages which is a lot to read from start to finish. I will suggest that if someone asks a question and you feel the answer has been given a while back and you do not feel like responding again, you can just ignore. I think its better that a zillion people telling newbies to go and read from the beginning.
Let's be a little nicer and accommodating...its not easy.
My opinion! There are all kinds of stupid things that annoy me but what annoys me most is a lazy argument such as this. Why do you want everything to be given to you on a platter? If you wanted that, you should have simply hired a consultant (one of them is presently on dealdey charging 120k) to spoon feed you with whatever info you desire at any given time. If this thread had so many lazy peeps (like you) that doesn't understand the concept of "work and sacrifice", then you wouldn't even meet anybody here cos there will be so much repetitions with no new info thereby making it difficult for the thread to progress. Reading through the thread is not easy, yes! But that is just a little sacrifice compared to the wealth of info you will garner at the end of the day. |

Hello fam. Partaining to to the every other day hair washing advise, does it apply to new borns too? I mean, how soon can one start the regimen since most mothers/mother-in-laws that bath the baby in the early weeks after birth usually wash the hair. Can one start immediately after birth or wait for some weeks after? |

MerryMom: Hello Fam,
Great to see people still helping out her. To God be the glory, I'm back in Naija aka hustle unlimited after enjoying the serenity of El Paso with my 3 weeks old baby.
I can remember when I opened this thread as I had no clue of what to do until I did a google search and it showed up.
I'm trying to settle down now. I know I still owe gist of childbirth experience at El Paso. I will combine it with gist about getting docs, zero balance etc by tomorrow.
God bless us all. The Almighty will continue to perfect our plans. Amen. 3 weeks after? Oya we are waiting o |
