The only issue I have in this Sukuk bond is that the regime collecting the bond is not the one that will pay in Maturity considering the uncertainty in our political landscape
Can someone please shed some light on this. It is a major concern for me too. Come another presidential election and another political party wins, what happens to our investment? I know government is transitional, but I also know things don't happen the normal way here in Nigeria. What will happen to our investment after their current governing administration ends o

I use paypal to do all my importation. I have been using same USA paypal account for roughly 6 years now without issues.

Also, there is a trusted guy here on nairaland that can help you withdraw your money from your permanently limited PayPal account and he will pay you either in Naira or bitcoin. His name is iyemik.

Thanks for highlighting this. When this COVID issue started i told many people around me that they should watch Nigeria, she will manage this well and come out OK. It wont get destroyed like the CNN and the western world predicted death-wise.

I guess The OP has bought so much into the western propaganda to the extent of being dissapointed for not seeing dead bodies littering his/her country. Black man, such a sad story.

I have never experienced most of the negative things you stated in your write up even while i lived in Okokomaiko. This country you so detest has been good to me. I guess you are outside Nigeria with the way you alluded to "haunted mansion". The way some of you talk about the lifestyle of Nigerians living in Nigeria amazes me. Nigeria has its realities but you have to learn to adapt here to be successful.

For starters Electricity has improved greatly over the past 2 years in my area, these days i only switch on the Gen to warm it. There is solar as an alternative. Security is also top notch in my estate, i know the weakness of my country so i dont waka anyhow at odd hours and in odd places.

Last week an indian wrote my firm to rent one of our new housing development on 5 years lease. Rent of 4mil per annum. Thesame country where everyone talks down on ,its where an indian wants to lockdown accomodation for 5 years. Before the lockdown i helped some chinese filled their landing card inside emirates airline, That would be their first time in Nigeria. Many of them are trooping to this country yet many of you are running away. Its a known fact that Nigerians are some of the most unpatriotic people in the world. I respect peoples decision to relocate if they wish to but there is no point rubbishing your country as if there are no success stories there. Come and see what Most Nigerians say about Nigeria to claim assylum in Canada, you will weep for this country. The whites will never respect you.

I started business right from campus,i have never worked for any company. I manage a thriving property company right now and my networth is enough to retire if i wish . No side hussle, no shady dealing. On campus it was all about my ICAN exams, fellowship and classes there was no time for frivolities. I got it right early in life and i wasnt from a rich background, thats a Nigerian story you will not talk about and the CNN will not talk about.

Like a member said here most of the statistics being quoted about Nigeria is related to the north. And i pray one day this entity will split so that those regions that want to develop will develop.

Nigeria is not hell like a lot of you paint it and the western world is not heaven infact the best you will ever be is a second class citizen behind the whites. Recent attitude from racists like Trump should have shown you that there is no other alternative than to make your country work. We just need some little tweaking to get this country roaring, few things needs to be fixed and i believe hope is not lost. My brother who has lived 25 years outside Nigeria is taking up assets here and planning to relocate here pretty soon. Stop putting everybody together, when you are determined to make it you will make it. Irrespective of location.

Tvegas for president!!!! cheesy

I will advice you go for VGIF currently the rate is 8.5% guaranteed. You also will get additional 35% of the excess profit of the fund. Which makes it about 11% in all.

I understand where you're coming from. The summary be say, all man need shine in eyes properly before marriage.

As a single guy, ladies without any source of income never appealed to me. I think of myself as quite stingy and repeated financial requests irritate me. When it was time to get married, my eyes were widely opened so I guess I'm enjoying the dividends of due diligence. cool

I don't believe it's the due deligence you claimed... I think your wife is a reflection of you, your skill, and your leadership style. You men underestimate your influence in the way your wife acts when it comes to money or 'trust' as you put it.

A woman's love is powerful.. Some of you have a good woman who loves you and is trustworthy, but you will never experience the true power of her love and trust because of your past deeds and inconsistencies.

A 'wife material' needs a good 'taylor' to bring out its beauty cheesy

Now I wanna comment on the issue of moving to Canada, get your credentials evaluated, write ur IELTs, get your pof intact and enter pool very fast. Points are dropping very fast and Candada will sure need more people considering covid 19.

I really do not understand the reason why we discourage people not to migrate to a place most of us have not been to. I had also heard about people lamenting on starting from the scratch and bla bla bla. Pls its not everyone that migrated to canada started from the scratch. Destiny and lucks with preparation differs. I personally started from the scratch because I moved to Canada as an Accountant but later decided to move into healthcare because of my kids. Oga moved as a welding Inspector but never started from the scratch because his job is in demand alot.

On the aspect of the kids, there are good schools here, ranging from Catholic to moslem schools where homosexuality wont be taught and even where its taught, the school usually give parents yearly school course work so as to enable u monitor what ur child learn in school. For those advising you to stay back if u are earning 500k, I really don't know what to tell them but why not ask them to come back and earn 500k in Nigeria.

Many Nigerians who stick to minimum wage jobs are the most lazy ones, they want to push drugs and make 200million dollars over night. They practically doesnt wanna do anything meaningful with their life. Go to school, no way, do certification course, no way, collect loan and do biz, too difficult for them. Pls do not sit down and listen to Nigerians abroad. Get the immigrant visa if u can, leave ur family and come alone for 3months and if it doesnt meet your expectations, then go home.

I repeat, stop listening to most of our Nigerians abroad and do not allow age to deter ur plans whether 40yrs old or 50yrs old, opportunities are here for everyone but most of us are too lazy to grab it. Do not come after me because i do not have time to argue

I personally will not want my kids to have their formative years in the western world. I want to imbibe in them the African values of communism. Trust me I have lived with Nigerian families in North America and Europe and all I can say is "I don't want my kids to have the mentality of those kids". You just can't help it if they grow up there!

I prefer them grow up here and when it is time for college, they have all they need to transition into the western environment without sacrificing their culture, morality, and belief systems. I think I owe my children that!

you owe your kids a second citizenship/pr,in places where dreams have 70 percent of coming true...top immigration countries are canada , Australia, new zealand, Ireland , germany (language barrier)
They can go to college over there and then integrate into the country after their study. It is not as easy as you guys paint it. I will not advise anyone who is above 35 and has a decent job/business here in Nigeria to relocate. I am not talking from experience... I am talking from what I have seen and told by people who made the decision.
As a young unmarried guy, by all means explore and try out your options. But when you are heading towards 40 and you have a wife and kids, the situation is different.

I just opened a Money Market Fund and Stock Trading account with United Capital

The process was smooth in that you must submit all required document and you dont need to step into their office to do all that.

I did it all online

My account dash board is impressive.

The rates are displayed for each of the products. I can make all kind of requests

I am impressed. I hope I will continue to be impressed.
What is their current daily rate?
