You know little or nothing about how much money exchange hands here on daily basis. Many Igbos make it in the North, Benin, Calabar and else where and these people don't go about screaming "we're their hosts oooo".

I swear to God, it is becoming alarming how these guys flaunt this host of a thing. I'm in in the east here making money, God knows the farthest west I have ever traveled is Warri, the rest is northern Nigeria. There are 2 things that baffle me about them.

Number 1, lots of them have flown planes before in the process of experience life in abroad. If you are a frequent flier, when you are on the air, whatever you might have acquired, should any slight error happen with the plane , all na vanity

Secondly, this abroad they have been running to, they don't just see, they witness and experience how things supposed to work, why is it hard for them to replicate same in their own country even for the fact that they are not going to use their personal money to do the development.

What is wrong is accepting the fact that some of your acenstors came from Igboland? Up till date, there are some communities that still speak the Igbo language in Okrika. I have been to Okujiagu, in time past, and they speak Igbo all through. Yes, today, they identity as Okrika Ijaw, but I don't see anything wrong allowing history remain as it is.

Yet Igbos are among the highest users on social media. Check out most social media influencers, their largest followership is usually people from the east. Check Igbo groups online, whatsapp and the rest. I have seen social media influencers from other ethnic groups courting Igbo users to follow them and boost their followership.
