Silver1996: SYNOPSIS
Derek plays the game so well to be considered your average playboy, and guess what, he was winning too... but things change when he met Nerissa, little did he realise that the same shovel that dug him from the dirt could as well bury him.
Be careful who you sleep with, not everyone on clothes is human.......

sugah: Pediatricians have warned against giving children 'teething' medicine. It wasn't too long ago that 'my pikin' teething powder caused a lot of deaths.
Teething is a natural phenomenon not an illness. If a baby is stooling, has fever etc whilst sprouting a tooth please take the child to the hospital to ascertain the cause.
Here are some tips to help your baby feel better while teething:
Use a clean finger (or cold teething ring) to gently rub your baby’s gum for about 2 minutes at a time. Many babies find this soothing, although they may protest at first. ⦁ Provide safe objects for your baby to chew on, such as teething rings. ⦁ If needed, give your baby an over-the-counter pain reliever e.g. Paracetamol that is labeled for his or her specific age. Read and follow all instructions. ⦁ Do not give aspirin to anyone younger than 20, because it has been linked to Reye syndrome, a rare but serious disease. Thanks plenty dear |

zaynie: On a norms, babies don't use cough syrup unless it was prescribed by the Dr. Till your baby can talk and tell you exactly what is wrong with her, please always take the baby to the hospital. Did the nurse do malaria test? What if it's pneumonia? Please go to the hospital tomorrow morning and have your baby checked out.
Warm hugs to the little one. Thanks dearest! |

threegees: Wow... Good day, beautiful moms (and dads) Been a long time here sha Thank God for all the additions and blessings here. Team October 2020, how is the journey so far? *wink* *wink*
So, for me, we clocked 3 months old yesterday. [Is there a dancing emoji]. Baby Grace has got no chills when it comes to eating. (I always wonder where the food goes). And I'm having low milk supply which wasn't like that with my older two kids. She's presently on Nan 1 (our 9th can... And yes, I am keeping the cans for our 6 months photoshoot), but I want to change the milk. I feel the quantity is not proportionate to the price (if I am making sense sef), the can is never full, and the price keeps increasing. The last can I bought was #2700 and she finishes it between 7-9 days. Someone suggested we switch to Lact. ogen. I saw it at #1800 but I don't know if it is an inferior product compared to the Nan, and if the change will affect her. Please help me here. I started using my boy at 3months and we are hitting 4months feb 1st. And by the grace of God baby is doing very fine no reaction! |

tikkykay: Hello mamas Good evening Please how did you deal with healing of episiotomy stitches? What and what helped? I am being pressured to sit on hot water which I was advised against at the clinic. The stiches hurt a lot . Secondly I just noticed blood in my newborn's eye. I plan taking her to see the doc tomorrow. Has anyone experienced this pls? The water must not be too hot just warm. Then for ur baby you need not to panic much, the blood will clear off even before her 6weeks. It happens to my son and some people were advising me to put a drop of breast milk on his eyes i refused, and before i knew everything just cleared off on it's own! |

Tessicatess: Good morning Mamas, does anyone know what could be the cause and possibly cure to this irritation on my baby’s body? I noticed it early December and I initially felt it’s the weather cause we stay in Abuja. It kept spreading and I had to complain to the doctor and she prescribed tribotan. I used it for 2 weeks and I saw no changes instead it kept spreading the more. I visited the hospital on Monday and another cream was prescribed, of which I was told to observe for 2 weeks. I’m currently using the cream but I’ll like to know if the cause could possibly be something I’m not doing right. I’ll rwall appreciate your inputs as it’s making me worry Try using Neo skin cream |

[quote author=Nemzy post=94176158]BS! BS! This was my 2nd pregnancy and o boy was it a journey and a completely different experience from my 1st. The morning sickness, tiredness...I remember having these intense headaches every day. From the 2nd trimester I started experiencing these back and waist pain to the extent I couldn't get up or take a walk most days. 3rd trimester was the hardest. Waist and back pains, trouble sleep till morning, occasional ms and fatigue.. Fast forward to September, although i've been working from home fully since the pandemic, I planned on stopping work by Sept 12th to begin my maternity leave on Monday the 14th as my EDD was September 22nd/29th LOLLL God's plan was different.
That monday morning the 7th of September, I decided to go to the office to begin my handover process and clear my desk then about 11am I started feeling pains. My heart skipped. At first I thought it was false labour so I tried to continue work and even wanted to go and eat then the pain started coming more frequently and so intense that I couldn't do anything. I immediately called hubby who was working from home to alert him. We agreed he would carry the hospital bag i had arranged thankfully and meet me at the hospital.
On the trip to the hospital from the office the pains began to worsen. The Uber driver was so tensed that he started cutting all the stops as there was so much traffic. LASTMA officials even tried to stop us while trying to cut traffic omo naso the driver started shouting EMERGENCY EMERGENCY! One look at me they had to make way. I say of all days I've been waiting, it's the day I went to the office and the day of mad Lagos traffic this is happening?!
Thankfully we made it to the hospital by past 1 and was admitted only for them to check and I was just 4cm dilated. Ha! I started crying and praying for divine intervention and supernatural delivery because I remember I laboured for almost 12 hours with my 1st child.
Hubby joined me and the pains just kept getting intense o boy! I told God that I didnt want to labour all day and the next time I would be checked I would be fully dilated and my baby would come. I was given tea to drink as I had not eaten all day and by past 4pm I started vomitting and was seeing stars.
When next the nurses checked they said I was 8cm dilated hmm glory. The next few minutes were the hardest kai. They broke my water and then I started feeling the urge to push and told them I wanted to push. I started pushing and to the glory of God by 5pm my beautiful beautiful princess was born weighing 3kg. Placenta came out few minutes later. Hubby even ran out of the theater immediately he saw blood and the baby lol. I had minimal tear so I was stitched up.
It wasnt an easy journey but one look into my Angel's face and it was oh so so worth it. We are getting there with recovery even with serious vigilante activities. Women are superheroes and I celebrate all mamas. Kudos to us all.
I pray for smooth and supernatural delivery to all mamas in the house. Kisses to all my September teamies Cappo @mayluv BS submitted. Thank you [/quote |
