Yet people, their fans will claim they are brilliant administrators and skilled operators. Yet they suffer the black man's inherent malaise, the lack of basic foresight despite our penchant for traditional sayings of wisdom one of which speaks about those that help you up the ladder of life...

Same story for those in the Judiciary, the Legislature and even the Executive. Atiku the other day was lamenting about the bad treatment in the hands of an INEC, an institution he had 8 years of opportunity to reform as the number two citizen.

Same ol, same ol. Nigerians never learn. They never see the wider game, always chasing the players, always elevating individualism above collective progress aka institutionalism. Always supporting short term politicking at the expense of solid, enduring structures of developement.

That is why it is so easy to forge rings on their noses and lead them into slavery with chains of feudal oppression.
