Op, I have alot of experience about your situation, I have worn your shoes before because I have worked with Nativity school (a missionary school) and I have taken my time to read alot of comments on this issue. Firstly, I see nothing wrong in asking for a pay rise after you have seen the workload and you know your worth, the best that the rev. sister would have done was to reject your request. Like in nativity where I once worked, they pay us (graduates) back then, based on our bargaining power when coming in. You won't know until you have mingled with other staff with the same qualification. I came in on a 40000 naira monthly pay and within two weeks I discovered that a colleague of mine was been paid 50000 naira, I was so angry with that finding. I had to go back to renegotiate with my madam but she vehemently turned down my offer, I managed the work but after two terms I left because the WORKLOAD NA DIE, itz like a 24hours job, you will sure not have the time to do anyother thing, only their work. When I left they called me to come back for a pay rise, maybe because they have seen my value but I didn't go back. For her to have deducted your agreed salary is witchcraft/oppression. You can remain there perhaps for the mean time but be preparing to jump ship, the school also need you, I can tell you that for free. |

fergie001: What is the argument?
The op is saying that Jonathan is been pushed out of relevance by Dickson. I am saying there is even little or no political presence on the homefront that Jonathan even possess just like Obasanjo. What is the argument again?
Is what am saying different from what you are saying?
Hmmmmm...Na waoh! My kneels are on the floor please forgive me and tell me to rise. |

fergie001: There was a time Buhari's Gov was PDP.
Who is Obasanjo's Senator again? Stop arguing, Obasanjo has lost any form of political relevance same with Jonathan. The best form of politics is home based, if you should loose it @home you've lost 70% of your political relevance. |

Tolexander: You seems to have forgotten Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor fight? Yea, occasionally they organize such matches for entertainment purpose and to make money, like Bigshow vs Floyd mayweather but my point is this guys don't operate on the same field so don't really expect their fight. On the other hand, Adesanya will defeat Anthony Joshua if the match is not restricted to boxing, if it is restricted to boxing, Anthony Joshua any day anytime will have the day, like in the case of Floyd Mayweather vs McGregor I could predict the winner even before the match started because it was just boxing. |

Titogbanski: FAKE NEWS BY THE NATION TO CREATE DISHARMONY AND TENSION IN THE NIGER DELTA.......
DID THE DEPUTY GOV CANDIDATE IMPOSE HIMSELF OR HE IS BEING SPONSORED BY SAME IJAW PEOPLE TO SHOW THAT THEIR STATE IS CONSCIOUS OF DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION. THE CURRENT COMMISSIONER OF WORKS IN THAT STATE IS AN URHOBO....APPOINTED BY SAME IJAW PEOPLE AND IJAW GOVERNOR. URHOBO AND ISOKO AREAS IN BAYELSA ARE RECOGNISED AND DEVELOPED BY THE SAME IJAW PEOPLE. I BELIEVE AN URHOBO WAS SPEAKER OR DEPUTY SPEAKER AT A TIME...URHOBO AND ISOKO NEWS/MUSIC ETC ARE AIRED IN THEIR STATIONS.
THE IJAWS ARE AS OPEN AND LIBERAL AS YOU CAN IMAGINE...JUST LIKE LAGOS PEOPLE WHO GIVE APPOINTMENTS TO OTHER NIGERIANS NOT EVEN FROM THE STATE. LETS COMMED THEM AND STOP THIS STAGE MANAGED PROPAGANDA NEWS BY THE NATION NEWPAPERS TO CAUSE CONFUSION IN THE NIGER DELTA....... Please just shutup your mouth and stop saying nonsense because you are an Ijaw fellow. The Ijaws are a major setback to the Niger delta, very backward minded fellows (If you doubt me, take a look at the reign of Gej) and very wicked people. I will prefer to live in South Africa than to live in an Ijaw dominated area. |

Idadurun: Fools!
Where were you when one of the senators, a Bayelsa Urhobo representing Bayelsa State?
Where were you when the boundary demarcation commission included the Urhobos in Bayelsa?
Are the Urhobos not contributing to the development of Bayelsa State, their God given State?
Where were you when they were made commissioners in the state?
Are the Ijaws who are minorites in Delta not enjoying state privileges given by the Urhobos?
You should be guilty of marginalization which you've been crying against. This is uncivilized of the Ijaw nation. I call them tout, braggers and the most cowards of the Niger Delta Region. The Ijaws attitude is xenophobic in disguise.
No wonder Good luck Jonathan was chased out of office by an illiterate who have no SSCE. Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, nice one sir! |

Simplyleo: Fair enough.
Though that is if they were not unjustifiably sacked to be replaced by godsons and goddaughters. My brother, they is nothing fair about a government institution employing people and later sacking them for no gross misconduct, if it is a private establishment it will be a different ball game altogether but a government institution? I can tell you for free that some Godsons won't be touched and some Godsons will be sent to replace those sacked. It is better they were not employed in the first place than giving them bread with the right hand and collecting it with the left hand. #I give up on this shithole of a Country.. |
