Nigeria should grant a secessionist group referendum because some ipob members beat up Ekweremadu, right? You must be very funny. If they like let them beat up all Igbo political office holders and traditional rulers, they are not getting any referendum. The Nigerian nation will not be intimidated or cowed through childish violence.
intimidated into what? You people are just pathetic. You call igbos all sorts of names, you say we are the ones ruining the nigeria image abroad. You call us arrogant, uncultured, drug dealers and all whatnot but when the same igbos say they want to leave nigeria you all will jump in immediately to oppose it. Am i missing something here?

Is it the FG that will grant the Igbos the refferredum or the Igbos in the Federal legislative houses that will call for referendum?
and that's why we beat ekweremmadu up and will beat other igbo leaders once we get our hands on them abroad. So why are you people masturbating on this?

@simplyleo

I just went through your previous comments and I will say most of your post is tribe Vs tribe and Buhari Vs Atiku.. You even called me ipob. Lol

I wish I can reveal my account between year 2014-2019. I campaigned for Buhari here on Nairaland then in 2014. Thank God he won. Thinking the Messiah is here. I don't know if you are here on Nairaland then or not cause your account is registered in 2019.

When 2019 election came, I have started suspecting Buhari but I still haven't come into full conclusion. I didn't campaign for him neither did I stress myself to vote cause Atiku will never be an option to me. But now, it's clearer. Boss, there is no freedom in the land again. Everyone can't be wrong. Prof Wole Soyinka ain't ipob. This people campaigned for Buhari in 2014 but where are they now?

Everyone can't be wrong. We are in Nigeria. This is our home. How on earth will a president find reason to kill his own citizen? I don't know your status in society but if you are not in government or pikin of government officials, you are not safe from harassment of police. Things are just upside down. Buhari will surely finish his tenure ( If God wish).

All we are asking for is good governance. The government has taken us for a ride for too long. Same thing they did to our grandfather, father and now its our turn. We need to handle things differently. They strike fear into our parents heart and kept them in poverty. But we are saying NO to this. We want a better life and better country for our kids. Nothing more
stop wasting your time on that zombie. He couldn't find a way to fault your post so he decided to shift blames. You see how he's now blaming the same cabinet that buhari appointed?

Nigeria is already a system and the president is the least of our problems in this country.

If you bring a perfect human being with the best of education, experience and other good leadership qualities to rule Nigeria there is very little he can do to salvage our situation. As far as I'm concerned, Buhari is not the problem of this country.

The problem of this country are those sycophants around him within the corridors of power and this includes all ministers and Directors General. Also, almost all our NASS members are not left out. That is at the national level.

Same applies at the state levels, just that at this level, it starts from governors down to directors.

Buhari is just one man attending to so many issues at the same time and even if he is super human, he will still be swindled, and for that, whoever tells you stealing is not going under this administration is just being plane stupid. This is the same scenerio that played out during gej.

My point: If action should be taken, it should against governors, ministers, senators and house of rep members at both national and state levels. Commissioners can be excused because they are very powerless. Honestly if the campaign for revolution is tailored towards this direction, more than 70 % Nigerians will embrace it and actively participate. I in person will participate. Or you think I'm with that weird-looking mamman daura that is always close to him? His looks alone makes me uncomfortable and he is a devil in aso rock.

Lastly, I wish to say you spoke very well untill you later scatter it again with "how can the president be killing his citizens". For God's sake, why will he do that? Why?
Has anything related to this ever been traced to him or just the normal assumption that he is arming fulani herdsmen?
then no president should be held responsible for what happens in his country. Trump is not responsible for america. Mugabe is not responsible for what happened to zimbabwe. Saddam hussein, sani abacha, babangida, george bush, gaddafi and even jonathan should all be excused for what happened during their tenures because as presidents they were not responsible. Abi?

I do not see anything wrong in sending message to the president by treating these his cabinet members like criminals if such opportunity avails itself.
and who appointed those cabinet members? Buhari. If they get their hands on buhari abroad they should give him worse than what they gave ekweremmadu.

referendum without following the due process?
please what is the due process? The fg has thwarted every avenue to grant igbos their referendum. Maybe this is how they listen to us. Not just to igbos but the whole nigerian people. Just one attack on one of the political office holder and they are all in panic mode. Nigerian youths should stone and disgrace them on the streets of nigeria until they start doing the jobs we elected them to do.

The real foolishness of the attack is that the attack itself simply serves to vindicate the wrongful proscription of IPOB which Ekweremadu himself was against!!!

Absolutely immature and stupid move by IPOB
so you knew the proscription of ipob was wrongful? Well, did it change anything?
Igbo leaders should do their jobs properly here in nigeria or don't travel outside. It is as simple as that.
Politics › Re: The Foolishness Of Attack On Ekweremmadu by izombie(m): 2:46pm On Aug 18, 2019
The attack is a welcome development. Until we show nigeria's rulers that we will no longer sit and watch them do as they like, we'll never have the nigeria that we the masses want. Attack them all. Ekweremmadu is just the beginning. Nigerian youths in nigeria should wake up.

This madness from IPOB will only serve to vindicate the proscription of IPOB

at this rate IPOB will soon be proscribed by Western Nations
there is no madness here. The madness is not doing anything when someone is trying to drown you. Black south africans would still be slaves under aparthied now if they didn't decide that enough was enough. What have we not tried with our politicians to make nigeria better? We tried pleading with them, we prayed for them, we believed their promises, we tried dialogue. we cheer for them but those have not worked. Maybe it's time to take matters into our hands.
Politics › Re: IPOB "We Don't Need Your Opinion On How We Choose To Handle Igbo Politicians" by izombie(m): 8:55am On Aug 18, 2019
Shame on anyone that condemns ipob for this act. This is what every nigerian should be doing to every politician in office. If you see them at lagos or abuja airports trying to travel abroad stop them. Nigerian youths and masses should wake up.

Politics › Re: Femi Fani-Kayode Reacts To The Assault On Ekweremadu. Warns Southern Politicians by izombie(m): 8:38am On Aug 18, 2019
We hail and worship politicians that embezzle our monies daily. They use our money to buy up the police and army for their protection. If we are too scared to do anything to them in nigeria then we should be happy that atleast there are those that are brave enough to do something to them abroad. One thing about south africans that i like is that they hold their leaders responsible. They don't care which party you belong to or which tribe, they all collectively protest against you if you don't deliver.

it's not that bro. Liverpool's goalkeeper was ridiculed because of his performance in the champions league final against real madrid. Black people are always ready to take the "racist route" whenever they are told the truth by the whites. I as a black person also said some shit about abraham. That was a very poor penalty, period. The guy should go back to championship.

I believe its a system, many whites had systems to cover their asses when they failed,eg donald trump was reported to be bankrupt at a time but he was saved by banks,i believe if he was a black person he probably would have been left to die.the banks will buy him want instead of saving the black, the system is very stacked against blacks, but blacks are still trying,we have a lot to learn,
forget this your mentality. Why can't blacks open their own banks? The OP is right.

Let him say his mind.
he did and he made a stupid comment. Serena didn't wait for anybody to retire for her. She retired them by beating them in every tournament. You don't become a winner being handed wins but by beating the best. She is still the best female tennis player for over 15 years and if others want that spot then they should beat her and retire her. It's that simple.

lol, but you know set serena William don dey that no.1 spot for a long time, why she dey get sleepless night for Naomi head becos the girl overthrow her, why can't she be like using bolt and simply retire and enjoy a clean record.
you sound more stupid. How is serena having sleepless nights because of the number one spot? Any player can be number one at any time depending on your performance at a particular stage. The new and young players have refused to up their games or they are just not as talented as serena, federer, nadal and djokovic. If you watched the final of this year's wimbledon you will see that halep came into that match to win. She blew serena off in less than an hour. Don't blame serena for being a winner.
