Religion overall is good where rightly applied. It's like Ibuprofen. 2 will cure a headache 8 will land somebody in the morgue potentially

Nigeria and a lot of these overly religious countries are proof of that. Seeing people that are always willing to fight and battle for a God that's supposed to be all powerful and immortal is just illogic to me. Like if God wanted us all to be Christians or Muslims so many religions wouldn't exist. So if God didn't make it that way what makes you think you're greater than him

Also, this ensures their is room to compromise the organizational structure of Hezbollah while regrouping.

When izzou said you were on an agenda you denied , but look at you here acting true to character. You are not even beating the allegation.

Just look at you trying to pin a government agency's irresponsibility to religious intolerance. For starters the government agency acted irresponsibly to have taken their induction/training activity to a religious ground knowing fully well that the religious agency has its dos and don'ts for guests on the premises of the church. Whoever had taken that irresponsible decision should be dealt with by the government but we all know this is Nigeria where civil servants get away with all sorts of misbehavior. Till date Sanwoolu's aides still post bigotry stuff regularly and nobody has really cautioned them for it. That is public service wahala.

That being said , u need to bring a real proof of extreme religious intolerance in which people have been denied their right to practise their religion in the South west if u want me to take u serious and engage u further. At best, what u are doing currently is that joke about how police solve crime in different countries. In the joke they said Nigeria police will solve the case of a goat eating foodstuff by capturing a rabbit, beat the living day light out of it and the rabbit will confess it is a goat at the end of the day (case solved). That is what u are doing here; u want to muddle any news u see up and call it RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE IN THE SOUTH WEST.
Okpa wore the garment of agenda when he asked those questions. grin

How can you say there's religious intolerance here; where Churches can organize crusades in an open space, even Muslims too..

You can carry megaphone and be preaching in the morning, in a Muslim neighborhood and nobody go kill you.

Go try am for Kebbi or Sokoto, make dem Timilehin your head comot.

This is an interesting topic. I have some few questions.

1)If Islam got to Yoruba land through trade with Malians who were predominantly Muslims and the Yorubas were doing Islam long before the Hausa.
How come the Sultan is the head of Muslims faithfuls in Nigeria??

2) Historical facts does not support your position that there's religious tolerance. If there's religious tolerance, why are Muslims forced to sit at home during Oro festival?
According to Juayd Greer..

3) There are records of marginalization of Muslims. Example below.

https://gazettengr.com/farooq-kperogi-ikoyi-tragedy-and-casual-bigotry-against-yoruba-muslims/
Only your first question has an answer.

The other ones get agenda inside.

Muslims are not the only people who stay indoors during Oro. And besides, for people to stay indoors for that day, proves that there's religious tolerance.

The same way Muslims are staying at home on Sunday, even when Allah didn't ask them to rest.

Directly or indirectly, we have all tolerated each other in the Southern region. There might be cases that go overboard, but it has never been extreme

islamics:
Sir, I think there is a mixup in understanding.
If you say Religion was extracted from culture, which culture is it? At least, we know Islam as a religion came and abolish some culture of the Jahiliyyah period. For instance, we hear abi na read say some culture allow a man to sleep with a woman so as to test her fertility about child birth before marriage but you would agree with me that Islam no support that.

Culture is the way we live; confirm. But Islam also came with the way we live ai.

Belief can be refered to as Aqeedah and belief is not culture. For instance, your belief in the article of faith na part of Aqeedah or your belief about life after death or barzakh are all part of Aqeedah.

Culture na action while belief are thought.
Which is more feasible for a person to change?

Religion or Culture?

Na wa for u o.

The search bar on the video reads "AAU Sign Out 2025 " meaning the video is in relation to the recent sign out at AAU. We discussed earlier about the memo in which the school announced cancellation of some papers because the students did car parade, blocked some access roads with their convoy , etc as agsinst the school rules.

Someone has gone ahead to bring a video of the students' vehicles leaving their faculty (probably proceeding to the point where they blocked the access roads in their road show) , but here u are still trying to claim what I don't even know.

You spent all morning trying to justify the unreasonable punishment. You were sounding as if all the students own cars and were guilty of the offence, now dem show u the number of cars involved in the parade u don dey change mouth. Haba!
You posted a memo on the Faculty of Arts; specifically mentioning 3 departments.

AAU has more than 10 Faculties, excluding departments

So which one is that video?

I was asking for a video of what you were defending. Is this the video?
