They might compensate him with Senate seat just like they compensated Ambode deputy. He was next after Ambode. They begged him to step down so Sanwo-Olu can complete the tenure. He has been patient, and he should be rewarded... Nobody time don pass. Anybody wey wan enter needs to wait. |

I am patiently waiting for how Lagos state governorship will play out o. I will wait for things to unfold before I hold u for neck.
Remember u dismissed the idea of Seyi Tinubu being given the APC governorship ticket in 2027, but the way things are going and different support groups springing up here and there for him; I doubt he's not eyeing the seat like u posited earlier. raumdeuter: We don't know the Ojora family claim, I think it won't just be word of mouth or trust me bro. maybe some colonial era or pre colonial documentation where their ancestors were documented to be the owners or occupiers of the land. Which means those ancestors were either literate or were exposed to people who could write
If na for Koma in Adamawa mountains where they haven't met anyone literate or any form of civilization they likely won't have such documentation that will form the basis for their claim so if I can get something from the govt na me be the owner I am willing to find such places for you Fund my trip, and let me see how easily you can snatch and grab |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 5:48pm On Jan 12, 2025 |
raumdeuter: Have the owners documented it with govt at any time in history? I'm thinking any community that's still going around naked probably have never been in contact with any form of civilization or govt
If you drop sand there and bring some form of govt order, the land don become yours as long as no one ever documented it as theirs with any local authority The Ojora family that won their case in Supreme Court over Lagos state government, did you think it was non documentation that was the defense? Some of the case wey dem dey drag goes way back to 100 years sef. One of the requirements for obtaining a C of O from the government is that you provide the family receipt from where you bought it. So Mr Land grabber in Jigawa, which one you wan cook go submit? |

MorataFC: Why is it always the same group of people in charge of selling land? TThese set of people have been selling land since before some of us were born and are still selling till tomorrow. Were the rest of us not born in the same villages and towns? Don’t we have ancestors like them? Why do they need to move around with guns, thugs, and charms? If their business is genuine, why do they need to arm themselves with ammunition, as if they're preparing for World War III?
Take, for instance, one Alhaji in Ogijo who has been selling land since the ’90s and is still sells it till today. He claims all the land, from Ogijo to Simawa, belongs to his father. Not even the federal government owns such vast stretches of land.
These people are nothing but land grabbers. If you don’t believe me, I believe you. Case closed. Sorry to ask, but is this area your village? |

raumdeuter: I think I get what MorataFC is trying to say but I doubt you can find that in Southern Nigeria
Imagine all the places we go for rural rugged during NYSC in the north and you still find places where they don't wear clothes. That means likely no one has claimed and documented those lands anywhere before because if they have then it's impossible
I doubt you can find 20km straight in the South that is not being farmed or some activity on it. Most likely recorded in some form of govt records in the past Even in the North, you think those lands have no owners? Go and drop one tipper of sand there first. Then you will be surprised to see the owner wrapped in leaves and sackclothes |
