Jacksonfire: Bolt agent. Is that you If you think drivers still make money as before and they are happy with the ridiculous fare prices along with riders bonus deducted after successful ride, God will judge you!!. If bolt ain't heartless why can't they charge riders bonus from their commissions?? And why do you think drivers like doing offline trips and charging extra fees??. Come do you know what? Go and sit down if you don't have reasonable thing to contribute here..
But he is supporting you naa
BlueRayDick: I’m not interested in any yeye news on the Mohbad case anymore . I’ve stopped reading any news or watch any video on the matter . Like most Nigerians , I have moved on from anything related to the matter .
When his parents are ready they will bury him and they will have a closure . If not let them keep in the morgue for 100 years and all of them be chasing clout on social media .
Like the Taiwo Akinkumi son that kept his father in the morgue for a year, because he wanted National burial
KingTom: It is what it is, I found myself at the depot today I dey stroll tank farms like orphan dey beg with my jerrycan eventually nepotism worked in my favour and I got a healthy 30L, which will be managed till further notice
Even better if you can watch the entire interview.
I was surprised to find out there are no CNG stations with Greenville here in our backyard. I called some of the biggest gas stations around and none of them had CNG.
I would have converted mine.
Yes, I am sure.
I'll watch the interview later, as i am currently in a programme.
But yes, CNG is transported in gas tankers.
There's a company i used to supply parts to in Ikorodu. They produce CNG and sell to companies. This was even before Tinubu entered.
Once there's even one CNG station available, I'm converting my car.
I hear the transportation of CNG is very difficult and extremely capital intensive. That's why investment in CNG stations seem to be dragging. Infact, they said if you don't have existing CNG gas pipelines running through your state, forget about ever having CNG stations in the state.
I don't think this is true sha.
CNG is transported using gas tankers to their destinations, just like PMS or AGO.
If stations are in place, it shouldn't be a problem.
PH should be having CNG stations sef. Greenville that is the major producer, has a plant on East/West road.
If in Lagos here, i can see their trucks, why can't it be in PH?
donbrowser: Yes CNG is safer than petrol. You already have the stats steering at you. Only Africa and Asia are adopting CNG. Petrol is globally available unlike CNG. You should ask why they are not creating the electric version of these cars instead of petrol versions. You can say it has nothing to do with Nigerians yet but you have to applaud the FG for attempting to drift into something safer and more affordable for Nigerians who cannot afford electric cars.
Disclaimer: If there's actually no subsidy on CNG.
1. Does it make sense that Nigerians abandon their petrol cars to start buying electric cars?
2. Do we have money to buy electric cars?
3. Can Nigerians convert to CNG? Yes
4. Do we have enough gas? Yes!
The only but is that the conversion kit is too expensive. I expect that the FG should subsidize it for over 1 or 2 years so people can make the necessary switch. That's if there's no subsidy on CNG though.
You said CNG is safer than petrol.
Gas prices have been rising globally.
So how come Toyota is producing 2024 Land Cruiser on petrol engines? The same for Benz and others
Is it that they are not aware CNG is cheaper and safer?
BlueRayDick: It's just amusing seeing Dangote carrying bottle of "white petrol" up and down on TV, APC supporters/Influencers shouting their voices hoarse on Twitter running PR for fuel that has no retail price yet, NNPC talking about PH refinery beginning production soon for the umpteenth time, and the citizens sleeping in filling stations to buy expensive fuel.
The whole thing is just crazy!
I just hope they won't start robbing people on fuel queue early in the morning and late at night.
BlueRayDick: People are really argue on the queues.
Unfortunately, the soldiers and LASTMA officials who are supposed to be coordinating things and maintaining things go in orderly manner are working in connivance with touts who manned the filling station gates. They collect money from people who want to enter without being on the original queue. The only saving grace is that no matter how u dey vex reach as civilian, u can't fight a soldier on uniform
The whole thing is causing traffic in different filling stations by the road around VI and Ikoyi axis.
The thing is just pathetic.
I can't even remember when last we had this kind of situation in Buhari's 8 years.
We have had scarcity up to 5 times in one year
BlueRayDick: I saw two men slugging it out on a fuel queue this morning. Man A was not on the fuel queue but was on fast lane; He saw the fuel queue moved but one vehicle without driver in it has left a space he could utilize to quickly join the queue.
Man B who was on the queue originally was pissed the owner of the empty vehicle has allowed for Man A to maneuver, so in order to prevent Man A from joining he quickly used his vehicle to block the little space remaining.
Man A was now saying " Shey nkan te'n shey yi make sense? , Ekiti kan naa de ni wa o" Meaning: What you are doing now, does it make sense ? And we are both from Ekiti o. (He noticed the man's dialect is ekiti with the way he was talking)
The man no hear anything o. He just dey vex say shey na Ekiti matter be this abi ? He has been on queue since 5am and u are here telling him to allow you join queue because u are supposedly from Ekiti like him
The whole thing was funny and sad at the same time.
He should be careful with how he tries to pull that on queues oh
The kind anger wey some people get. Dem dey find who to pour am on
liveLongNprospa: Amigoss you see wetin LP do abure. Obi carry all the senators, HORs, governor and governorship aspirants organise event. New caretaker committee.
Amigoss: He has not been very vocal about what is happening now and the high cost of living,he suppose dey press their necks with agenda
His most vocal supporters are been hounded for "sponsoring a protest" which didn't lead to any breakdown of law and order by people he is shining teeth with, not a statement from him or did i miss it....
The hate I have for Apc,I want him to replicate and show it too,not to be found in same room with them smiling not even at this time, maybe I am expecting too much
You are expecting too much oh.
Besides, the occasion was a condolence visit, and as you can see, the people who went were handpicked, and led by the Vice President.
That is definitely not a time to start singing "Solidarity for ever"
Amigoss: That picture of Obi smiling, shaking shettima and in that entourage is doing my head in, very disgusting and insensitive...Aside the protest thingy,I want to agree with Kenneth okonkwo...
What did you want him to do?
