Roland17: How is it different? It is an allegation that is supposed to be false, right? It could be any allegation? Mr. A is accused of being a thief, the accused goes ahead to steal, so what does it make the allegation? Still false I guess?
In law, we say "Innocent, until proven guilty". GRV made a claim, Wahab proved him right. Again, except you can in good conscience tell me Wahab moving from Dear Gbadebo to Dear Chinedu was innocuous and with no ill intent.
You are choosing to read what you want from my posts, otherwise, you'd have read several places, from my initial post where I questioned GRV's intent from his original response to Sanwolu to his first response. A claim? No vex Chief. I don't mean any disrespect with this example If I call you "Stupid", would your next reaction be to prove me right, or insult me back? Because you're making it look like there was basis for this "accusation". |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 7:15pm On Jun 22 |
Roland17: Nothing, his original response had nothing to do with it but can you at least admit going from Dear GRV to Dear Chinedu was intentional and proved GRV right?
Do you want to read through the comments after the Chinedu comment by Wahab? Are you telling me Wahab did not know what he was trying to do when he went from GRV to Chinedu? Or are you amongst those that will tell me it’s his name?
Someone accused you of bigotry and what did you end up doing? Did Wahab not prove the bigotry? Anyone can make accusations and while that was reckless, Wahab proved it wasn’t far fetched because GRV was proven right.
Like I have maintained, the conversation should have ended after the original response. Someone accuses Izzou of being a thief and what does Izzou do? Goes ahead to steal.. So was the accusation of theft right or wrong? I think comparing theft with this are different. You have no where dragged GRV for calling someone a Bigot unprovoked, but you have dragged Wahab for responding to GRV in that same energy? Don't you think GRV is also a bigot, for calling someone a Bigot over nothing? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 6:20pm On Jun 22 |
Roland17: Yes, his name is "Chinedu" but are we also going to pretend the use of "Chinedu" is discretionary and at convenience when an Agenda is obviously being pushed? Wahab addressed GRV by his official title to start the 'give and take" but when he was triggered by the accusation of bigotry, he remembered to use Chinedu. So, didn't he prove him right? We know why. You can pretend all you want but I know and many know, the convenience of using Chinedu was intentional and proved GRV right. You guys forget this isn't Wahab's and GRV first tango. They have been going at each other for a while now.
There are expectations and responsibility that comes with being a public officials or holding a sensitive position and that is the reality. Just because Wike runs around the country with his uncouth mouth doesn't mean that is the norm. I work in corporate America and while I am not on SM, there are expectations and responsibilities that come with my position. There I times, I curse and swear in my head but I also know I can't say or write what I have in my head because it may cost me a lot; it comes with the territory!
Get Lagos clean and move on! Why are you not angry with GRV for calling him a bigot in the first place? There are two facts to this matter; 1) Lagos is dirty and Wahab is responsible for cleaning it. That was the discussion. But you're not triggered that in that context, GRV called him a bigot. What exactly has Bigotry got to do with that explanation he gave? Did he blame Igbos or anybody in that explanation? |

raumdeuter: Your own name na the big slur
If I say Big sodik, big Tom no wahala but by the time I call you Big Gbola fight go start GRV has a pass if he insults Wahab's mama But where the line is drawn is if Wahab replies. The moment he called Wahab "A Bigot and a Gaslighter" without any provocation, he has no right to complain if he was called anything. Na so I take judge the matter. That aside, let LAWMA save us from a disease outbreak |

raumdeuter: How did Wahab prove him right? GRV asked a question, Wahab responded with his experience, GRV called him a Bigot, Wahab called him out and showed GRV screnshot of him practicing bigotry
So the summary is that GRV who attacked Wahab is free Its Wahab that called him his Govt given name and attached screenshot of GRV practicing bigotry that is guilty here

BlueRayDick: The screenshot below is actually what fuelled my anger. They are talking about zero tolerance to dumping of refuse on roads, but they fail to collect refuse from people's homes despite paying for the service.
Who are they fooling? I think this whole stuff is a cycle When the government fails to provide a timely, structured way for disposing waste, people will find it for themselves. That's why we have a heap of waste on our roads They should first create that structure, and then the Waste Police comes into play. In a nutshell, Sanwo-Olu don tire |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 6:46am On Jun 22 |
Roland17: Wahab is the one in government, not GRV. Being a government official/ spokesperson comes with a lot of responsibility. If you know he is trying to pick a fight, why indulge him? I don't get it. Like I said, Wahab and the Lagos State Government don't have a leg to stand on this one. This is an unnecessary distraction that doesn't solve the issue Lagosians are grappling with.
I don't think this is Wahab and GRV's first tango. They have a history and something about GRV triggers Wahab. He started well but lost his composure. I mean, how did we go from "Dear Gbadebo @GRVlagos" to "Dear Chinedu @GRVlagos"? Isn't it obvious GRV got to him? They just need to focus on the issue and start addressing it. So you see no issues with the man who began by calling the other a "Bigot" and a "Gaslighter"? I'm just asking oh. Your issue with Wahab is that he lost his composure with his second response, but you are not looking at how GRV insulted him. I am not defending Wahab and his explanations, but GRV obviously wanted to find trouble there. What has Bigotry and Gaslighting got to do with that response? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:41pm On Jun 21 |
Roland17: This particular refuse issue has been a recurring theme and a black spot for Sanwolu. This isn’t a case of something went wrong but something has been wrong for a very long time!
Remember the corper that talked about Lagos smelling and how it was politicized? Infact tribalism follow enter because she spoke up. So no, this isn’t a rare occurrence but the norm. It had not been working before now
The problem is Wahab things he is answering GRV, not realizing he is answering millions of Lagosians who have suffered through this over the last 7 years! Sanwolu is t seeking reelection so I am not sure why he felt compelled to politicize this issue.
Wahab should have addressed the issue in general, take ownership and start showing workings. A smart politician or public official should have seen the back and forth with GRV would backfire! All these back of forth isn’t necessary.
Lees talk, more action! Is that not what he did? |

BlueRayDick: You think people who have refuse of over 3 months sitting in their house without being picked care about the nonsense banter Tokunbo is doing with Gbadebo?
Everything should not be politics. He reduced Gbadebo's genuine complaint to opposition politics matter.
Imagine you even calling it "false narrative" 🤦♂️.
People have been complaining about paying for the service of LAWMA/PSP for the past 6 months but getting serviced erratically and some nkt getting served at all. I guess that's false narratives abi?
Una go say make dem hold leaders accountable, the moment the people do Una go turn am to political matter. It is well I understand your anger, to be honest. The last time we saw a disgusting Lagos was Ambode's tenure. But na GRV find trouble. All Wahab did was explain how overwhelming it has been so far. He didn't defend the failures though. GRV just entered him like something else dey involved. |

Spy360: War is expensive. And you don't go to war with someone who is already willing to surrender.
Besides, even judges in court temper justice with mercy for those who have pleaded guilty. This is a fair and just approach. Temper justice with mercy for someone who beheaded a man and recorded it for all to see? Well, let me not bore this thread with back and forth. If Obi's strategy to end insecurity in Nigeria has room for negotiations, he is not serious about it. Na my opinion be that! We can simply wait for another John the Baptist with balls. |

But as I always do, I decided to listen to the interview myself and it was all totally different meaning.
So now I encourage you to look for that part of the interview from the question asked and the response, you will get the clearer meaning.
The confusion is caused and promoted by APC miscreants on this thread. They know themselves But your Number 1 APC miscreant (Raumdeuter) supports Obi on this. Did you also factor that, or it flew over your head? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:57pm On Jun 21 |
Spy360: Israel once negotiated with Hamas
Trump for all he is worth is negotiating with Iran and Hezbollah right now
Negotiation in all these cases does not mean yielding to their demands, it means giving them a softer punishment if they choose peace and lay down their arms. The other option is war.
Theflint1 has tried his best to educate you, please understand. Then why not just give war and end it once and for all? 1st option: Softer punishment You guys should do a stand up night once in a while. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:54pm On Jun 21 |
Spy360: Like Flint said, you painted a wrong interpretation in your head, exactly what APC miscreants wanted and you started twerking to their delight.
The problem now is, you're too arrogant to change the stance even if it's been exposed to you.
I asked a question, does someone who wants his arms back sound like he wants peace to you?
If your answer is yes then you're right about Obi. But if it's no as it should then your interpretation of what Obi said is wrong. It's that simple.
Come to think of it, you are expecting Obi to treat bandits the same way the government of Katsina is doing. Is that what you're saying?
Happy Father's Day So after Obi gave the interview, he called you to one corner to give the right interpretation? Which day we begin interpret for Obi? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:45pm On Jun 21 |
Theflint1: If there's no money backing it from the onset, there won't even be a beginnging to enjoy.
I support state policing, but the issue of how it'd be financed is most important.
States now get more Naira allocated, but in dollar terms still not much, and for a heavily dollar dependent country like ours, that's something to consider. The same funding will be channeled to the states. Benjamin Kalu also said that let the policemen from the states police the state: Let an Policeman from Ogun or Yoruba police their region since it's easy to understand them better. I think they have crafted it perfectly.. It now left for Governors and political parties to hijack it |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:40pm On Jun 21 |
Theflint1: You've created an interpretation for what Obi said, and chosen to be angry over what it's possible he didn't intend the way you've taken it.
People are unequivocal about the issue of negotiating with terror groups, it's a common rhetoric, one I'm sure you buy into.
However, history shows that even with the US that made popular that rhetoric, there are times where they have to employ non-kinetic means, including negotiating with terrorists to resolve long drawn battles.
What constitutes this negotiation and how it'd play out is another thing altogether. Chief, anybody that puts negotiation for Bandits obviously has no plan or will to end it. A real life example is Katsina and Zamfara. What's more funnier is that if Tinubu has said this same thing on air, he would be roasted. I am sure you draw the line when repentant terrorists are absorbed back into the society, but nothing is wrong in negotiating with terrorists. |
