Even if people can invest as low as 200k, they wouldn't make any real gains if they invest a paltry amount of 200k.

Even if someone invests 2 million Naira, he wouldn't make any real gains.

It was actually really funny that even people who planned to invest even below 1 million Naira thought they would make significant dividends.
With zero knowledge about the IPO, they were already typing up and down on SM.

My first doubt about this IPO was when Dangote said it would be priced in USD.. The exchange rate is already wide. So if you say a minimum of 1000 shares, how many Tom, Dick and Harry fit afford am?

When Otedola now said he has dropped $100m, I just knew that me and my family were not considered in this IPO.

I am happy to see the Somalian ref get to officiate the UEFA Super cup.

Apart from the fact that he may be a victim of the stereotype, it's also an insult to African football; Our best ref is not good enough for one match in the WC?

I must also commend him for his attitude. He didn't rant or nah. Just accepted his fate, went home and was grateful.

Choi! I miss my old man; he no dey skip any major tournament without buying this "fixtures".

As match dey end like this, he will wear his eye glasses, carry pen and fill out the scores. For matches we are unable to watch either due to NEPA wahala or the match being played at odd hours, he will get the scores from the next day's newspaper and fill it out.

We get the full complete fixtures of Nigeria 1999, Trinidad and Tobago 2001, Korea-Japan 2002, etc. Omo! The good old days indeed. smiley

We must be deceiving ourselves if we think Social Media was a primary recruitment ground for Banditry and Terrorism.

Poverty, Joblessness and a high percentage of the roaming Almajiris are the probable means of recruitment.

All those children you saw in 2005 as Almajiris have all grown. Where do you think some of them ended up? NNPC? Canada?

How come BH is not recruiting massively in the Southern part of Nigeria? Abi we no dey Social media too?

If indeed there's a law or state laws passed to this effect, then I make bold to say the law(s) makes absolutely no sense!

So they are saying if I build a house and decide to rent it out to tenants whom I did background check on and there was no reason for me not to rent out the building to them. If that tenant somehow gets involved in a crime like this Adelabu sister's kidnap incident, they will demolish my building ? In what world is that fair ?

I have seen situations where Landlords try not to rent house out to Yahoo boys , but the yahoo boys build a fake profile about having a legit job and the landlord has no choice but to rent the house out to them. Now imagine EFCC raiding those guys and EFCC suddenly deciding to demolish the house because they feel the landlord is complicit....It's just unfair.

That being said, I don't know if it's just me but this demolition of the building feels like getting rid of evidence . There are rumors that some party and campaign materials belonging to Adelabu's political opps were found in that house . Why demolish the building instead of allowing forensic investigation into the whole kidnap saga?
It is not just you oh.

But I must commend the Script writer and the Production manager

They did well

NDC Riot act

This season film go sweet. I don talk am say Kwankwanso move to NDC na 2031 move. He just sold a dummy to Obi for 2027

======================================
The NDC is being built as an institution, not a personality cult, political movement, or Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to be used and discarded.

Members are encouraged to remain committed to the party and contribute to its growth and sustainability for generations to come.

At all times, and for all candidates and aspirants, total allegiance must be to the party and the national interest.

I also served in Kebbi, the village I served is close to Yauri. We always go from the village I served to Yauri market to buy things.

There was a gist that the Winners Chapel in Yauri was being built close the main road that enters Yaruri if u are coming from Niger state into Kebbi state. The church was already built to lintel level before the Muslim community rose and asked for the construction to be put on hold.

They kicked because they believe it is improper for a Church to be located close to the road at the enterance of the town. They can't stomach the idea that a church will be the first thing visitors will see when they enter the town. So had the winners church forfeit their building and decided to allocate another land to them which is off that road (Inside inside). As at 2014, the uncompleted church still stands there while the new church had since been competed at the new site.

They later named that area Ungwa Church (Which means church area) and that was the only place they allowed churches to be built. If u go there u will see CAC, Winners, RCCG, MFM, C & S, and even Olumba Olumba grin . The downside of that decision is if there's a religious crisis on a sunday morning, they can literally wipe off the Christian community if they descend on that area with weapons unannounced.

How can we know all these things and somebody will now be gaslighting us online? As much I hate everything about NYSC, I am actually grateful for the fact that it made one travel and see reality of things in some other parts of the country. The realities u will never believe if someone else was relaying it to you .....as in you will think they are embellishing the story.
I was surprised to see it too.

All churches are on the same land. They only fence their respective buildings.

You cannot build any church apart from those ones. And when there's a religious crises, it becomes easy to wipe out the other.

But this same people will spread their mats everywhere they can in the South, and heaven will not fall.

Meanwhile if you are designing a filling station up north a mosque may as well be a compulsory part of the infrastructure

And anyone can arrange a set of blocks to get an instant prayer ground anywhere in Lagos.
If you hire a Northern artisan to work on your property, he will set his mat by 2pm to pray without needing your consent.

And yes, you won't have a problem with that, until it's the other way round
