raumdeuter: When accountability is from one side and excuses is given to the other side, It starts looking like agenda PSquare supported Obi, Eniola supported Tinubu, But its the Eniola support that was tagged as tribalism not the PSquare one I speak because RCCG is the largest church in Nigeria, and it is very strong even in the South East. People are being killed everyday. Adeboye keeps quiet. Oyedebo has been very vocal about the incompetency of this government. He won't say anything. Benue killings, Jos Killings, and even the one in a church in Kwara. All of them was met with his silence The same way we all know what we are doing, is the same way he knows what he is doing. My greatest joy is that Nigeria Christians are beginning to see the type of Christianity we have in Nigeria. |

The way Raumdeuter is typing, you would think it's Igbos only that are dragging Adeboye.
The guy who released a video saying he won't attend RCCG because Adeboye refused to protest, is Yoruba. Infact, he spoke in Yoruba.
The same way he said made it look like Igbos were covering Chief Priest and Obi Cubana, but bullied Eniola Badmus and Seyi Law.
Chief Priest lost Primaries and I don't think anyone mocked him like his people. Even Obi Cubana has deleted all City Boy pictures from his page.
Anytime people ask for a little accountability, you begin to bring weird comparison to defend your anointed.
I am happy that Nigerians are beginning to wonder why Adeboye won't speak. I have been saying it years before now, that this man will never condemn any shit this government throws. |

raumdeuter: So Adeboye protest against APC under Buhari is not evidence of non partisan criticism? But Adeboye himself said that the protest under Buhari was instructed by CAN, not him. Which one be Adeboye protest again? That's by the way He should keep pampering Tinubu and his Ordained Pastor. No wahala. God dey |

raumdeuter: Adeboye actually did a walk against APC govt, he wrote criticism of PDP govt. He is the one getting dragged
But we are hearing about how Mbaka was sent to seminary and trip is why he isnt getting dragged on twitter, Maybe internet wont reach the abroad he was sent to What am I saying? What are you saying? I am telling you that the Catholic Church punished him for his partisan politics TheFlint was asking you who will punish Adeboye if he plays partisan...You didn't answer him, because you know what you're doing. |

raumdeuter: So the person who is not playing neutral(Mbaka) is given a pass but the person who is playing neutral is the one getting dragged? Adeboye will pray for anyone who goes to his camp. He prayed for Jonathan, and APC people who went there You are mixing it up for me. Nothing concern me with who he prays for. He can pray for Gumi...No be my business But on matters of Nigeria, especially the killings, he should speak up for the Christian population and call out the incompetency. "Tinubu has failed in insecurity". Why is this line too hard for Pa Adeboye to say, but easy for you to say it? The beheaded teacher is a Christian. I am sure if Christian extremists beheaded a Muslim teacher, from Sokoto to Oyo, their religious heads would drag the government. That's my own. He can pray for all the 100+ Senators in Nigeria. That one no be my business |

raumdeuter: Which fuckup dem treat for Mbaka? Has he been asked to lead protest and dragged online like Adeboye has been Both criticized Jonathan govt, One is getting dragged everyday, One is being overlooked
We all know what we are doing You are funny. Mbaka was removed from his Ministry and thrown to one seminary abroad. His love for politics stained his white robe in the Catholic Church. Catholic Church didn't even spare him.. Na recently e come back, and he is not even as loud as he was. |

raumdeuter: Adeboye has been supportive of every govt in power and has been critical when the need calls for it
It just sound sus that of all the religious leaders who criticized Jonathan, Its Adeboye that is being dragged online not the same fervor has been given to Mbaka I just told you that Mbaka picked his side. As at 2023, Mbaka openly said he would not support Peter Obi. Adeboye has never said such. Mbaka is not playing neutral, and maybe that is why he isn't receiving the same dragging like Adeboye. People are asking him to protest, but I see that as abnormal. But being the head of one of the largest groups in Nigeria, you should speak for your people. Call out the incompetence as it should be. |

BlueRayDick: I don't think it's an outright deliberate spread of false information per se, rather I think there was a mix-up over time in the roles Pastor Adeboye played and how vocal he was under past administrations.
The fact is in 2010 under Jonathan's administration, Pastor Adeboye petitioned Goodluck Jonathan over the spate of insecurity in the country and he planned to stage a one-million-man protest. RCCG collected signature of members who may be interested in the rally, but the truth is that proposed one million march never took place eventually. Below is link to the news report back then in 2010.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/10/kidnapping-rccg-petitions-jonathan-to-stage-one-million-man-protest/
Fast forward to 2020, Pastor Adeboye along with some top pastors in RCCG held a "prayer walk"/ protest against insecurity under Buhari's government and that's the video/picture that is available online which people mix-up thinking it is the proposed 2010 protest under Jonathan which never happened.
That being said, I think generally people are not happy Pastor Adeboye has not really been vocal as regards the state of things generally under this current administration like he did under Jonathan and Buhari's government. Most people believe he has a soft spot for the Tinubu's which makes him difficult for him to call Tinubu's government out directly like he did to his predecessors. These are the words of Pa Adeboye in that link. "The General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who yesterday initiated the move, insisted that it was high time religious organisations raised awareness over the depreciating standard of security in the country, adding “we cannot afford to celebrate, clinking glasses and congratulating each other when a horrendous decimation of the most vulnerable is picking up a pace and our stock of human capital heading for the abyss.”I wonder what happened to this kind of blunt criticism in today's Christianity. |

A40: Didn't he protest against Jonathan in his 70s? He can preach but can't protest. Oya nau. Will he be quiet if it happens in Redemption Camp or one of his churches.
I don't blame him. I blame Nigerians especially the youth still carrying religion for head. And I mean both religions.
God no go come down from heaven. China, Japan, Singapore are reference point. Whether you go Jerusalem or go Kaaba go lick stone. Nothing will ever change if we don't do the needful I'm saying I don't expect an 84 year old to be walking under the sun from Ojota to Alausa because of a protest. But he can be bold to call a spade a spade. Na my issue with our own version of Christianity here be that. When they want to protect their pot of soup, they hide under "Prayer". |

The dragging on Adeboye is unnecessary but I expected it. And very soon, all of them will be dragged.
Adeboye is 84. To be honest, why do we need an 84 year old man to lead a protest?
But my issue with Nigerian men of God is their inability to speak, boldly take a side, and condemn what is wrong. It's horrible
"300 people were killed in Kwara (For example". The Nigerian Pastor will drop one post on SM, and then go ahead to do "FAITH and POWER" conference that week.
If we had a Christian-Christian ticket, and Nigeria was like this, I trust the Muslims to be the perfect opposition. And yes, they are right.
Adeboye should not be dragged to protest. But yes, they should speak up. Condemn the government, rather than telling us "All parties are in your church". |

Keep the same energy you are using for Adeboye for Mbaka as well Mbaka is very open about his support for Buhari and Tinubu. An unapologetic APC man. And he has been cancelled too by his lovers Maybe na why him case dey different. Pa Adeboye says he's non partisan (not like I want him to lead a protest oh). I want to believe she falls under those categories , so u will hardly see any of her video preaching sermon online. All Pastors preach, my brother. Ibime: You are incorrect on Rivers State
Odili is an Ndoni man. Ikwerre have to move with Etche, Ahoada, Ndoki etc to produce Governor
So far in the 4 Governors since 1999, there have been 2 Ikwerres, one Ndoni and one Ijaw
Contrary to what you are saying, it was an Ijaw man (Jonathan) that succeeded Amaechi with Wike, Amaechi had chosen Dakuku (Ijaw) as his successor, so there's nothing like Ikwerre rotating among themselves. They are not that dominant. Wike then passed it to an Ijaw man (Fubara) but Fubara went against the gang, if not he will be doing second term. The Igboid tribes combined have majority but not that outsized, and Ikwerre is just one of them.
Urhobos are doing the right thing cos their dominance is not absolute, there are checks and balances if they try to run roughshod So why is Wike bringing Chinda again (Ikwerre)? Why not bring an Ijaw man to finish the 2nd term? Elder may be right. Ikwerre might just pass the seat amongst themselves going forward. Heaven no go fall for Rivers. |

This is obviously the part that Larride should be referring to. The Itsekiri have made Warri their own property, when they have less than 50% as theirs. Majority of Warri is still for the Urhobos, but Itsekiri parades their ruler as the head of Warri. |

They are only majority in Delta but very small compared to Igbos and Ijaws nationally so they have to move with sense. And they are not even that outsized compared to the others. Any combination of Anioma, Ijaw, Itsekiri, Isoko will outnumber them. So they are not doing it out of altruism. Remove Isoko from your list. How will the others unite against Urhobos without going against themselves? Maybe they are not doing out of altruism, but compared to others, they have been better |

We see what ikwerres are doing in rivers state and the igalas in kogi, the tiv in benue etc... countless examples. Exactly. Urhobos have been very fair to others in Delta. Very very fair. Majority in many states will never allow minorities to smell or enjoy anything sef |
