Like amnesty for MEND was a gamble on peace, Like amnesty for BokoHaram was a gamble fr peace. Its not unheard of that a leader ppleads for criminals to get peace

Its actually common.

Many Guatanamo Bay terrorists were released by US govt to achieve same thing

Its a gamble better than doing nothing. Anambra is not moving at the pace Soludo wanted for them because Obis IPOB boys are hell bent on grounding the state and he is taking the gamble

When MEND was pardoned was there a guarantee they wont continue?

Since Obi refused to tell his boys that he admitted he knows and see everyday to stop killing, then SOludo has to find other options even if against his beliefs
A lawmaker in Soludo's cabinet was killed and beheaded

Just show me Soludo's effort in apprehending these demons and making sure the law works.

If you can do that, i will believe Soludo is not clueless

See egbon turning amala on behalf of Soludo now . grin
grin grin grin grin

Na laugh i just dey laugh.

Now, releasing Kanu is for the peace of the SE.

As if there was peace, when he was free before

Lol, they're unlooking but observing, and taking notes, in the hopes of wearing Soludo the IPOB-sympathizer robe if he ever comes out to contest in the future.

Soludo is far from being a populist politician, and that's refreshing, taking a position of this nature when it's become unpopular to ask for any form of clemency for IPOB is bold. I dunno how the "repentant" Boko Haram members analogy applies to Nnamdi Kanu though, is Nnamdi Kanu also "repentant"? And is he or Simon Ekpa in control of IPOB?
It was the day someone posted Dayo's comment, hailing Obi as a preferred option for the SE, that i decided not to take some of their positions seriously.

Na Kaftan dem go sew give am. grin

In 2017 Obi was not the governor, yet he declared and absolved IPOB he said IPOB was not a terror organization that they live around him and he knows them

Soludo acknowledges that IPOB and Kanu are the direct cause of the insecurity in his state and he is caling the madman the bridegroom if that will give Anambrans a breathing space to live their lives
It definitely means Soludo is not as intelligent as we thought

He probably may be the patron of IPOB.

He should be under surveillance grin

He was encouraging his people to kill when he was in UK, Kenya, His people continued killing after he was jailed

There is no guarantee to anything, Its a gamble that Soludo is making to appeal to the killers

Even in the US, deadly terrorists have been released or negotiated with for the sake of peace even if its temporary

Recently a notorious Russian arms dealer was released for Brittany Griner, Is there a guarantee that he wont return to his arms dealing and killing people?

When you are desperate, you seek any option even if there is only 5% chance
You are typing long long story, my brother. grin

If you release him, and the killings continue, what happens next? grin

Or maybe, your beloved Soludo could even be the one behind the killings, and is probably trying to get his revered soldier back. This could be an option

Bruh.... no one is avoiding anything nah. Some of us already said it here that we hope PBAT will release Nnamdi Kanu for peace sake in the East, especially in Anambra.
Listen to yourself, my brother.

Kanu was not even in detention when IPOB was sharing blood everywhere, but you want him released for peace sake.

The same statement Obi made in 2017, and you trolled him with, is what you are justifying in 2023.

Soludo inherited a terrible security situation which is making governance impossible for him given how Obi and co encouraged IPOB into the monster they currently are

Soludo is simply trying to make the best of a bad situation he inherited. When YarAdua administration gave amnesty to MEND militants, People like GEJ acted as surety for MEND yet he wasnt the one who created MEND just to make his regime smooth

One of the ways to stop IPOB is for Obi to tell his boys to stop all misbehavior but since Obi does not want to do that for political gains, Soludo is seeking another option because at the end of the day, he was the one who made a promise to Anambra to provide good governance
Kanu was in Kenya when IPOB was slaughtering people.

So a better option is to release him? What is the guarantee that the killings will stop?

grin grin

You no see as dem dey avoid the thread like water water shiit on top Apongbon bridge

The issue of double nomination is also part of LPs petition and like that of the PDP, it will be dismissed. . Does that answer your question?

As for the bolded, exactly. And my argument has always been that it is a waste of time because there is only one outcome. Tinubu will be president for the next four years.

Besides, many other parties were also either in court and have withdrawn or didn't bother to go at all. There's a reason for that. cheesy
Apart from PDP and LP, is there any other party that should even talk?

Just type NNPP here, and watch Mukina ban us both.

Subsection 299 of the constitution already clarify how the FCT should be administered as a state in this kind of situation.

Don't worry, 25% in FCT gonna make Obi next President......LMFAO
The thing sounds stupid to me, but it is not Obidients that wrote the constitution.

You saw Kadaria Ahmed a pro APC, say there is a problem if any candidate doesn't get 25% in FCT.

This one is not on Obidients. They are just exploring a loophole in the constitution that they did not write

The only thing that can save the police is the years of service.

So if she's required to work a certain number of years before resigning and she has not then this will suffice..

But even Ben would have stated that if it was the case.

In a structured environment, If you are involved in some sort of disciplinary case or fraud case, you are automatically not allowed to resign until the case/investigation has been resolved.

That is why I am saying there may be more to the story.

And besides, if this was the case, the resignation would have been rejected.

She's probably being victimized by one oga at the top and she has naively fallen into the trap. Security forces especially the Nigerian variant don't take kindly to insubordination real or otherwise. She should have reached out to one senior officer preferably female who would have advised her and helped her know how to comport herself in the face of deliberate hindrances.

Ben didn't deny her resignation last year.

Since last year, she submitted her letter and in May 2023, they have not finished processing it.

Instead of apologising for wasting so much time, they have spun it to flouting due process
