Roland17: Some of these guys do not understand the amount of leverage they have. They want to enjoy the attention but have absolutely no understanding of the responsibility and accountability that comes with it.
I am impressed with the way SP Benjamin Hundeyin handled the situation. This is the same guy that was caught driving on BRT lane without any remorse.
That guy is just a journalist that has no control over his emotions
He had time to apologise, but he quickly spinned the agenda to something else
40 cars were vandalised, but na only one you show.
herborlahdey: Good evening Comrades, Pls I am in need of a car for weekly remittance, I'm an experienced driver. Kindly help a brother.
Bigdam: Toyota Corolla 35k weekly remittance , 35k security deposit, experienced and responsible driver on Uber /bolt platform. Must like within Ikeja, ogba ,Berger and it’s environs Must live in gated house WhatsApp only 08132492726
nihilistjnr: It's the same rationale behind trump's wall, and why nobody want's bambialla or herdsmen form Niger in Lagos.
Any government that allows the foreign poor to come an contend with homegrown poor for resources and access to job will face problems at the ballot box - its that simple.
That's why I took the time to paint a picture of immigrants and second generation immigrants running the country of their colonial masters. It's why I also discussed how labour is criticizing a conservative government for being soft on immigration.
I appreciate that from the outside looking in, you might not see it. It is what it is.
Dude cast UK japa route via Students Visa for potential japa geng. He exposed it on BBC o. He said its actually ain't about studies but to japa from Nigeria for greener pasture.
Mumu even claimed to be amongst Agents facilitating it.
Itsrm: Fearless energy drink is the only drink I take.
Now I understand why it sometimes tastes differently. You buy one today it tastes a certain way, you buy tomorrow and it's a slightly different taste .
Itsrm: By my calculations, no way. This is what I have on my bolt App.
If he picks him at 7am and they return by 3pm, total time is 8 hours or 480 minutes. At 13 naira per minute charge, the amount is N6,240. By the time you add for the actual distance covered, he will be lucky to earn 10k on bolt.
Except the charges per minute in Lagos is double that of PH
I have never seen any Uber driver that is willing to wait for 1 hour for you online.
If paid waiting was worth it, people for dey readily accept such offers
I know person wey be say na inside her bathroom dey dey bottle and cork the water
Water is usually adulterated, but the market is readily available, and Nigerians drink water, and they are not particularly loyal to any brand.
Unlike drinks where people have a preference
They’ve been caught adulterating even non alcoholic malt drinks too.
Listen to the former commisioner of police in Lagos when they bursted an illegal brewery/winery in Ikorodu back then . Even malts wey some elders dey always fight for during ceremonies are not spared
If u go to Apongbon under bridge on Lagos Island, u will market women selling all kinds of premium alcoholic drinks/liquour ranging from Hennessy, Hennessey VSOP, Azul, Luc Belaire, Ace of spade, Don perignom etc. They are all fake drinks being sold at cheap prices. You will be shocked they even sell some drinks that are limited edition.
In fact there's a market for box/casket of the original drink. They buy the original box and put the fake drink inside. That's where people buy those drinks which can be harmful to the body.

Apongbon na the HQ of all fake Assorted drinks.
Hennessey and Johnnie Walker gat nothing on them
liveLongNprospa: Yeah I know its not coz that time I dey follow our marketers talk and them dey clear me how e dey be.
Dangote trucks dey actually act as depot so that it will be easier for customers to even get close to wholesale price. Some of those trucks you see with cement wey dey parked somewhere just dey chill for anybody wey go like buy.
Lafarge had no answer to that initially but they ramped up marketing drive to an aggressive level and gave their wholesalers incentives like giving out awards and gifts like brand new jeeps. Omo wholesalers dey very competitive sha.
This was the same thing they did to their transporters too. Best transport gets a 5star award. TSL and BHN dey drag.
I wonder how BHN handled the news of lafarge opening their own driving school sef 😂 The marketers nor dey ever be like who get money. E get one woman wey dey casually order 100-200 million worth of cement and she dey use Keke because she dey fear kidnap😂😂😂
liveLongNprospa: I know lafarge sells to wholesalers for 4400 for supaset and 4300 classic. Now those wholesalers sell at retail by adding at most 500 naira to that price.
Lafarge always ensures that the price difference between them and Dangote isn't more than 500 at most. And right now Dangote retail cement price is 4700 in delta state. Meaning the company price is around 4200-4500 if buying from Dangote gan.
So I dunno where he said they make 50 percent from. The cement business profit only fully shows when you are a wholesaler and you have to sell alot of cement to see profit that is reasonable. The trucks used to deliver the cement to wholesalers are usually free or factored into the price given (someone can correct me here).
50% of a minimum price of 4000 is 2000 naira. Make baba stop am abeg😂😂
That 50% is not true.
The person i know told me the profit on one trailer is about 350k
The major advantage of the business is that it sells fast, especially if you are in a good location.
Ibime: Dangote know why he ceded that part of operation. I wonder if it's the Insurance companies bearing the cost of all these burnt trucks, accidents and wear and tear from Nigerian roads
Trucking business is something I actually want to do when I retire from 9 to 5. It's a good business for an accountant to do, because all the revenue and cost elements are fairly predictable within Western setting. Naija setting na anything goes.
GloriousGbola: naija ehn. same thing dstv did with GoTV
it is sad sha. there are a lot of opportunities here - but somehow, we do not have our shit together. maybe corruption, maybe impatience, maybe an inability to think beyond immediate chop- so you see different cadres of asians and south africans cleaning up in our markets.
With how weak our naira is, these guys have the capital.
$1 million is about 750 million naira here. Imagine what that would achieve here. I don't think the same amount can replicate that same investment in the abroad.
That is why i would always respect those Nigerians that manufacture here. It's no small feat
GloriousGbola: basically they have done the same thing bezos did with AWS. by solving a problem related to their business, they have become dominant in providing that solution across the board
Yeah
The same thing Flour Mills of Nigeria did.
They process flour and oils They use it produce Spaghetti, butter, and all sorts of pasta
They have a transport section (Golden transport) that handles their distribution too.
OralB: This may look unbelievable but it's very true. The longer you are on the business, the more number of offline clientele you build and it stops Uber from assigning us one delivery at a time. The day I made about 28k take-home, I honestly didn't use more than #1,500 fuel and I closed very early too because I ran so many offline jobs simultaneously. Everyday no just be Christmas Sha.
Please try and create a fleet.
If you make 60k a week, give it on rentals for 50k.
Broker deals with organisations, especially in market places. You can cut a deal with the sales person that he would get some percentage if he let you pick orders for his customers.
This is much better than Uber, bros. The only thing is the risk....But God dey
