While age was not a thing, many people didn't measure their age. Or didn't use the Gregorian calendar and peg adulthood at 18.

Adult is defined by society. Using 18 as the standard is not universal. Many cultures put adulthood at the time of puberty. If a child attains puberty at 13 he becomes an adult. Many females after "seeing blood" are free to marry.
Why is 18 the age of adulthood and not 15, 21 or 25 or even 30

Gender that is universal and one of the most black or white thing is what you can identify as, while adulthood and age that is defined by society is what you cannot identify as?

I think A001 is right to a larger extent. The tags 'Favourites" and "underdogs" are not polar opposites, and are not necessarily mutually inclusive. That Team A are favorites in a match doesn't necessarily mean Team B is an underdog.

There is no particular gatekeeper of "liberalism". What you're highlighting is basically the extremism of liberalism and those that believe the bolded are fewer in number, hence the rapid pushback seen against that particular narrative from many including other liberals.

It's universal knowledge that children are incapable of making their own decisions. They need guidance from parents and a caring community.
So yes, extremes are never good, however extremes do not define an entire ideology. So in the end this is apple's and oranges.
