Amoto94: Some of you were hoping that APC will field PYO so that the election will be over before 12PM because you've already made up your minds that any candidate from APC is a no due to the exaggerated perceived shortcomings of the party at the federal level, so it is hypocritical for you to say that PYO would have stand a chance against Atiku in a general election or perhaps Wike had he clinched PDP ticket.
What's the difference between PYO and Tinubu in relation to winning 2023?
Tinubu picked a Northern Muslim so he can win in the North. The same can be applied to PYO
Tinubu will win SW. PYO will win SW.
What else? He can't win SS and SE; the same goes for PYO.
So what exactly is Tinubu bringing, that PYO can't?
I’m just pained Roland intervened. So much pained he was logical enough to kill the agenda I wanted to help push.
Hello Roland17, it might disinterest you to know that we, the real Okwute supporters do not want you in our midst, we don’t need your support for Okwute our messiah. Here in Okwute’s miscreant committee, it’s an abomination to be sensible. Kindly withdraw your support for Okwute and allow us run it our way.
Thanks.
That agenda was a very quick counter attack.
Theflint was Jorginho; escorting Raumdeuter and GloriousGbola, instead of giving a sweet sliding tackle
Roland17: Firstly, it is okay to admit that you were wrong in your original assumption that the guy is a private security personnel employed by PO.
Whenever presidential candidates arrive it is not their job to cloth security personnel. What’s next? He should buy a preferred gun for him? Appearance and uniform issues should be addressed with the NPF. PO was in Anambra and this was who was sent, this guy doesn’t travel with him across the country.
You have raised it up, SM has carried it, it now the job of the NPF to address this issue. This isn’t any different from SARS personnel who looked like thugs in mufti until the NPF addressed it.
This has nothing to do with PO stop reaching.
I was actually expecting that agenda to take up 5 pages, but you killed it quickly.
Emmynator: Same Sowore that looted ordinary party funds As for the screenshots you attached, I hope you don't believe it Sha smells like Buharist campaign speeches 2015 Peter Obi as a president won't even have the power to effect most of those things, legislative reforms without the legislatures being on board is laughable
I thank God there's someone on God's green earth that sees what i see
liveLongNprospa: My guy.. You keep referring to Donjazet when you also spoke to me..
You asked me questions on the man.. I answered and told you to hold on.. Why can't you take my own but you hang on to your experience from Donjazet to judge the Obi campaign that isn't even close to the end.
For example I'm sure you consider what Obi is doing visiting flooded states politics but then again after he has been insulted by PDP people, atiku has cancelled his campaign movement to also start visiting these states.
Obi is getting insulted for donating little amounts.. Which is it really? Someone to donate what he doesn't have or to steal and donate so the optics will be beautiful...
. I been dey tell you say you never know where you stand.. But I make mistake.. You know where you stand and the only change you'll accept is if an actual Miracle worker (Jesus or maybe angel Gabriel) comes out to contest.
Nothing concerns me if Obi visited flood victims or not. That gesture has nothing to do with his expected performance, and yes i wont be fooled by that.
We are talking about his promises and manifesto. Nothing concern me with what politicians play to win votes
liveLongNprospa: Bro you didn't want to believe in him.. You already had your mind set out.. Your conversations with others already proved this.. I dunno why you don't want to accept this.
It's fine to be the person that doesn't believe in any politician.. Shame nor dey
And when you asked me.. In the end I told you to chill coz we have 4 months of campaigning to go and you'll hear more on topics of interest.. But you already made your decision..
My excitement for Obi was at the beginning; I want APC out for leaving us worse.
But when he got talking, i realized he doesn't have any plan that is realistic to change this country. He just wants to get there, and after being overwhelmed with the decay, he begins to complain and lament
Scroll up to Donjazet tweets, pick one reason there, and I'll show you why its a fairytale.
You can decide to believe in him. Its your choice
hensben: Sterling is just annoying to watch. He wasn’t like this at man city, at least he was making move inside opponent box 18 at city he lost all that all of a sudden, I don’t understand or is he guiding himself for World Cup.
BlueRayDick: No be lie. They were just made target practice. Now my fear is even if Suleiman or the FG who is the primary employer of the policemen decide to sponsor the education of the deceaseds’ dependants, they will still miss that fatherly care that the death of their father has caused . It pains me that the deaths were avoidable ; he could’ve just used his bulletproof car alone without any long convoy or better still buy an amoured vehicle for his escorts to ride in.
There’s this guy too that Apostle Tom Samson; he has one tall green church in Ikeja Along bus stop , he uses one stretch hummer limo with other cars in his convoy. You should see him anytime the car wants to make a turn in a narrow road ; the policemen in his convoy will have to come down stop other vehicles and control the traffic for as long as it takes his cheffaur to make a turn. All this makes the policemen lame ducks who are unduly exposed , but I guess they don’t know .
I know that guy naa. His church is at the bus stop gan gan. Where korope dey carry Alausa.
Him still dey use that Hummer stretch?
The sad part is i watched the video where Suleiman was walking round the car, and showing us how they targeted him. No remorse that 7 people are dead because of it. He was just saying something like Direct shooting.
And another woman was saying "Thank you Jesus"
Those 7 lives don't mean anything as long as Papa is still breathing
BlueRayDick: So I just saw videos of the attack on Johnson Suleman’s convoy which was a bloodbath in Auchi , Edo state . RIP to the policemen and others in his convoy who lost their lives in the attack.
I saw a video of his car which is bulletproof and could not be penetrated by the bullets rained on it by his attackers (which obviously is the reason he survived the attack ) . It then got me thinking why did he need so much police escorts when he already drives a bulletproof car and those ones driving ordinary hiluxes (thereby exposing them ) ? …. I mean if the policemen were also in bullet proof cars they would’ve equally survived the attack like he did
I have never liked being in the convoy of security personnel.
I dont like it, and i also see it as more of an exposure to attacks, rather than protection.
One of my friends was killed as far back as 2015. He was driving a Hilux with siren at night. A robbery was going on and as he was approaching the scene, oblivious, they opened fire on him and killed him.
Whoever attacked Suleiman wouldn't have opened fire on those other people if those policemen were not there. Thats the truth. The same happened for Ifeanyi Ubah too.
A bulletproof car or cars is enough for your needs. Carrying a hilux and a bus together, only exposes the other people in it to danger.
ChristoBam: Ten Hag would probably have tried to sweep everything under the carpet if he didn't end up walking out publicly. Do you think we'd hear of this if Ronaldo didn't walk out.
Makes me wonder the things Ronaldo would have done in the past.
Exactly.
As much as ETH might be a strict guy, he has a lot of respect for Ronaldo
Despite his pettiness in the pre season, ETH brought his plans to him, trying to assure him he was part of it.
I believe it wouldn't be known if he only disrespected ETH. Walking out was not only spitting on ETH, but the whole United
Jodera: Lol, I didn't say it had anything to do with Klopp, I was just pointing out the ego thing.
His team was winning 3-1 but Salah had an opportunity to pass to him to score but he chose to be very very selfish instead of passing to Mane.
Worst of it was that Mane was the one substituted after that incidence and this was very hurtful to him thereby venting his frustration in the bench. Most people(someone like Firmino) won't be angry if such a thing happens even if they substitute them, but Mane was. So that's the point I was trying to make.
I won't fault Mane for getting angry neither will I fault Ronaldo.
And thanks for the Club correction, their jersey somewhat deh similar and e don tey
To be very honest, Ronaldo's case is different and has no form of explanation
ETH tried to put him in and he refused. That disrespect would have ended with ETH, but he had to walk away before the game was to end in 5 minutes.
I blame Ronaldo for whatever anger he thought he had.
BlueRayDick: I just did a quick search on the news to find exactly the reason why a governor would ban betting/gambling in a non sharia state and the screenshot below is what I found .
Apparently the state government received complaints from gamblers that the betting companies have not been paying their winnings and some are manipulating their gaming machines .
In my opinion the reasonable thing the state government should’ve done is put up measures that will check activities of the betting/gaming companies , have a state lottery commission that sees to these complaints and have a channel for resolving such issues . Placing total ban on the activities of betting companies in the state makes no economic sense ; considering Soludo himself is an economist
If this is the reason, the ban is just to send a strong message.
When dem no see enough contributions this weekend, dem go apologise before WC
GloriousGbola: The difference between China loan and Western loan. Westerners are looking for influence, but Chinese want your actual soul and the souls of your grand children
Its a problem all over Africa.
They are just sharing money and taking a lot of benefits from the people.
The sad part is we are still going to go back, and their doors are always open
raumdeuter: we can use China expertise at high level in Design and supervision but no be say na dem go even be low level workers Haba. Is it that Nigerians are too dumb to even work as laborers and low level artisans
If we had our own money, it would make sense.
But as long as you are begging from them, dem go take over.
Those guys are buying up almost everywhere in Ogun state. I dont even know why this isnt making news.
From Ibafo down to Ogere, those guys are buying up hectares upon hectares.
raumdeuter: There are negotiating ways you can explore. I will rather pay a higher interest on the loan and allow my people be part of it or seek other lenders. Sukuk dey there na.
If its this I will give you babe and still help you sample her deal wey sod09 dey give then we no want
It has always been there, bros.
Our Rails, Airports, Highways, ...Almost all are done by CCECC
The moment they give you a loan, you are bound to give them back the contract.
Nigerians actually work as labourers, but thats the least of funds we can mostly access
They supply almost everything, and hardly recontract any job to another contractor.
raumdeuter: We can pursue this argument and tag many means of entertainment as fkking people over. He can seek to regulate and clamp down on those betting agents taking advantage of underage or rigging the machines but an adult has a right to fucck his own life over anyhow he wants
If we allow sports betting ban, Soon we can use this same argument for beer parlour, BBNaija, Music industry and our beloved national monuments called Ashii joints. Some of these beer parlors and olosho joints are located opposite schools BBNaija and sexy music videos can be accessed by everyone
emmanuelscott1, izzou nezzjnr and Blueraydick this is an Endsars riot that I will support you on. The day they tried to ban ashana joints
The ban will only affect physical shops
Unless Soludo is willing to do a Stop and Search on people's gadgets, the ban no go anywhere
raumdeuter: I dont know what seeun was driving at but when you want to do a project. Its better to get local people involved because of the trickle down effect of the money. Its better for say 10billion to rotate inside Anambra among the people there
Unlike what the Chinese do where even the laborers and food vendors will be imported from China
Thats why all those who even steal money from govt should be made to invest it locally in Nigeria not shipping it abroad creating economy for some people abroad
The issue is that when you want to get a Chinese loan, one of the conditions is that they would be the ones to execute the project.
So unless Tinubu has another Sweetheart apart from China, the status quo remains the same
Jodera: Auba case is gross indiscipline and that's neither the first nor 2nd nor 3rd time he's doing such. That's different thing entirely
Ronaldo's own is a clear case of ego and I understand that knowing the level he has reached and the achievements he has acquired. Most top players even not up to his calibre will be annoyed cos some have been annoyed for even less.
I remember when klopp refused to put Mane against Man u. Even though Liverpool won, Mane was still very very angry that he visibly refused to shake Klopps hand even when Liverpool were jubilating. Or is it the situation where he almost cried when Klopp substituted him because he couldn't score a goal against West ham even though Liverpool was winning 3-1(hint: remember that Firmino pix in which he was consoling mane?. That's the match). This is someone who doesn't even have ego like Ronaldo and he's behaving this way... How much more Ronaldo?
Now I'm not justifying his actions for walking out on the team before full-time and out of the stadium. That is totally wrong from him.
I just understand the reason of his anger and I know that someone's who has achieved same standard as he did will be reasonably hurting. How they go about expressing their pain is another thing entirely
The match where Firminho was consoling Mane had nothing to do with Kloop
It was Salah that Mane was mad at, because he was selfish and threw away a scoring chance..
And that is why the fg is finally issuing some edicts like spy police cannot wear police uniforms or use police licence plates.
I remember that our then ceo converted his driver to spy police. So the guy too was wearing uniform, but he was not a police officer. He was still paid and employed by the ceo. That is what happens.
But there are also real police officers that do "Boy Boy" work.
I know one in person. He has served some top families in this country, and he actually enjoys it
