These people are politicians ffs? Is this difficult for you to understand that they’re not commoners and can organize anything with heavy armed force?

Commoners can just fix date and campaign for Obi in Yoruba land, can such happen in Igbo land? That’s where my points comes in. Them no even born the person well.

No dey act like you’re not getting my point.
Tinubu's ticket is hard to sell there...I don't know why you are skipping that part.

Or you just want people to gather and carry any banner they see?

They have shown you a thread of people that campaigned. You said its arranged, and they are not commoners

Or should they open their Bank app so you would believe?

Well, I do not know how things operate in the east tho. But then, I just feel there’s a bit of exaggeration in ur tone going by how u claimed people will get mobbed for campaigning for a party that has party secretariat in the state , has identifiable party members among the people and already has a governorship candidate in the next election .

I know there are non-state elements who would always try to forment trouble in political seasons , but then it’s a bit of exaggeration saying anybody that dares campaign for APC in the southeast May end up getting lynched .
Thank you

Do you stay in SE?

Like, when last did you spend like a month or weeks in SE since Primaries?
Bros

The major reason why there are no raves of BAT in the SE is because it is difficult to sell a Muslim/Muslim Ticket there.

Even APC candidates in the SE are finding it hard to campaign for it. The people are predominantly Christians, so they won't buy it.

But that does not mean you'll be killed or mobbed if you do. The highest is that you'll be mocked.

I just showed you someone who donated his house in Enugu state. I am yet to hear it was burnt.

Chimaroke has so many investments in the SE. Go to Agbani and see his schools, and other infrastructures. Even after clashing with Obidients, nobody has attacked him.

And no, I don't live in the SE or have stayed for a month this year

You underrate the level of tribalism in South East. cheesy
I don't actually. I just know it shouldn't be exaggerated.

APC has a structure in the SE. From the Party Chairman down to the wards. I don't even think LP has any strong and organised structure before now.

Those people in that APC are Igbos, not Yorubas or Hausas. And yes, common men and women are there.

It would be difficult to sell a Muslim/Muslim Ticket in a region that has 90% Christians, but that doesn't mean they would be mobbed.

Yes, common citizens

I was at Nibo, Anambra state last week for a burial.

Let me arrange your points for you so I can show you why that is more divisive, religiously, than what you think Tinubu did.

Nigerian is a deep rooted corrupt empire filled with corrupt citizens. This is why Tinubu will win.

Did PO visit Paul Enenche's church? Issa simple sturve. You just danced around it like musical chairs.

Of course, I carved out Catholicism from Christianity so you won't try to hoodwink people that going to any random church is tantamount to what PO does on a regular like any Roman catholic I know.

Yea, you have no agenda. You did not say Tinubu selecting Shettima was a Muslim Muslim candidature foisted to divide Nigeria. Like you're not hyperventilating now because I mentioned how Jonathan took it to new levels and Okwute is basically emulating him.
Obi visited Eneche. So show me where he asked the Christians to vote him. Show us where he carried mic and asked Redeemers to vote him. Or is English not your forte anymore?

I am not hyperventilating. It is you guys that want to call a shovel, a spade.

I don't even know why this is giving you all headaches sef

Shebi Obi will steal Atiku's votes, and all the SW and North will vote Tinubu? It should be a good thing that he's visiting churches sef

The more churches he visits, the more Atiku cries.

I name-dropped for you so we won't waste each other's time with sophistry.

If you want to pretend you did not see it that is on you. To avoid any doubt, the videos of POs sojourn to Paul Enenche's church is strewn online. If that is not a campaign, then no politician has ever campaigned in his life.

Maybe you will in the same vein show us how selecting a running mate is dividing the country. Especially when the people complaining already were never going to vote for said candidate regardless of who his running mate was.
Okay, you lied. Just don't have the balls to type it. I accept you apology

And for the record, I have not come anywhere to drag Tinubu that he is dividing the country. I only respond when people like you come with the Obi agenda. It makes me question your objectivity to issues.

We are talking about religions here. You cleverly carved out Catholics from Christianity. If not to pass this agenda, I don't know what for

I said it the other time that Tinubu just have Obi an agenda to exploit. It is what it is. Even Buhari with his Islamization accusations, never tried it.

Very soon, Elrufai will pick a Northerner as his vice, and you will blame a Southerner for dividing the country because he attended his village meeting.

No be every agenda suppose fly, sir. Some, just accept it doesn't make sense and move on

You're clearly at sea with all I have presented above.

Tinubu picked Shettima. You are the one (on record saying you'll vote Obi and then Atiku in that order) who told me that Shettima is Muslim.

Obi is Roman Catholic. He ought to go to roman catholic churches for his Sunday mass like he has always done. Going to see Oyedepo, Enenche etc. for photo-ops and subtle endorsement is what if not a religio-political move?

What does PO have in common with both men except their palpable and oftentimes nonsensical hatred for this present govt? grin

Una just no wan gree say GEJ lose that election fair and square. If the elections held 50 times, Buhari will win all in increasing measure. People don't like addressing the elephant in the room but the reality is, Jonathan lost 2015 despite all the rigging they tried to do for him.

The other day you were talking about dividing the country across religious lines and I wanted to ask you what that means. Tinubu selected Shettima as his running mate, it is the people who don't want to vote for Tinubu that brought up the religion of his running mate and juxtaposed it with Tinubu's - Tinubu himself did not do it.

Peter Obi going to every church whether pentecostal or penterascal to get them to endorse him - that is how to divide a country across religious lines. He learnt this from Jonathan.

For Tinubu to be dividing the country across religious faults, you have to show him going to mosques to take over the mic and then campaign for himself. You have to show him basically asking his fellow Muslims to vote for him - because he is Muslim. You have to show him meeting Imams, sheikhs, religious authorities in his clan, and then asking them to tell their followers and disciples to vote him exclusively on that preserve. He has done none of such.

It is Peter Obi that has been doing so. Make una talk truth sometimes even if it is bitter like Alomo.
I am not sure you read what you just posted. I don't think you did.

Tinubu is contesting for presidency. A country with about 50% Christians. He picked a Muslim as his vice, and you say he is not dividing us across religious lines.

Then another person that is a Christian, visiting his own faith, is the one dividing us across religious lines

Show us where Obi asked Christians to vote for him. Infact, show us where Obi was/is campaigning in any church

I strongly believe you did not read what you typed.

Firstly, I thought you will come up with something more insightful after claiming I am not following. There is nothing like political neutrality even within a party. Within a party there are camps represented by varying interests. Consequently, the narrative that Ayu is supposed to be neutral doesn’t hold waters, worsestill, in Nigerian politics. Within the Democratic Party, you have different positions and that is why some like Manchin can hold the entire country and Biden hostage despite being a Democrat.

Have you forgotten that A. Adamu, the APC chairman even had his own candidate during the APC primaries? Have we seen Adamu campaign aggressively for Tinubu like say Gandollar has been doing even before Tinubu got the ticket?

You may have to look at the history of Rivers politics to understand the dynamics of power and by extension it’s relevance in the SS. Anointing a candidate doesn’t assure anyone of political relevance post tenure, we have seen that over and over again. Odili appointed R. Amaechi, we know how that relationship is going in Rivers State. Wike’s power, control and relevance in the SS can not even be compared to that of Kwankwaso in the core North, worth more Jagaban in the SW or celebrated criminal James Ibori in the SS because it holds no salt beyond Rivers state.

I am inclined to understand Dayo’s position about Wike’s ability to wield power because he is an incumbent governor, nothing past that for me, as it relates to SS. If PDP loses the presidential election, he also loses, except he decamps to APC and gets a position.

Wike should be fighting Tambuwal if he has the courage, not Atiku because his problem started after Tambuwal decided to sell his votes to Atiku…Every other thing is secondary. He should be fighting and taking his pound of flesh against Tambuwal. Ayu may not survive this because Atiku needs all the votes he can gather from Rivers State.
Atiku may have this perception that these Wike’s 3 won't even matter in scheme of things

I don't believe Makinde can deliver Oyo for PDP even if he aligns with Atiku. Tinubu go win there

I don't believe Ikpeazu can deliver Abia for PDP.

The same goes for Ortom, now that APC has a priest as candidate.

Atiku may even consider allowing them be. If they work for him? Fine. If they don't? No wahala

Where have I done the bolded?? Seems you are confusing me with someone else. Show me where I have denigrated and derided an entire tribe?

I lived in Lagos for the better part of my life, it's not even been that long I left Lagos.
I have soo many relatives who are Yoruba. Some of my relatives married Yoruba spouses.

Infact one of my very best dish today is what the yorubas call efo riro. Spinach stew and ofada rice. My God, I always have to go extra miles to find that food to eat.

I am not foolish enough to limit myself to a particular tribe or identity. I see myself as a human of the world foremost before all these local identities. Whether African, Nigerian or Igbo.
Its okay to see yourself as human first. Its also human to respect what others see themselves as. If someone sees his tribe first, you should be human enough to respect that.

You are posting a tweet calling a particular tribe "Xenophobic boogies", and at the same time, you're convincing me you're not a tribalist?

Apart from online, the Igbos and Yorubas have had the least tribal conflicts in Lagos. Its only on Twitter that we have useless stats and noises about how much they hate each other.

I really don't know what you intend to gain from all these.
