yewit37486: Honestly, they tried, because I remember how he embarrased one of them some weeks ago. His lack of self control is a red flag to me because it indicates someone who takes decisions in the moment without thinking through. They really did Even the judge did. The judge granted them permission to help him, and the Weyrey swallowed his pride and allowed them. |

yewit37486: He also seems to have an anger issue and I ask myself, what kind of leader would this man have made? Many of these activists would end up being far worse than the ones they criticize (as bad as those ones are). Chasing all your lawyers shows he's not a man that listens Those lawyers sef try. I would never set my feet again in your trial if you do that to me. Yet, they came today to guide him. |

Theflint1: Why was Nnamdi Kanu roped into the EndSARS protests? I think he made remarks of burning Lagos state. I don't know if it was before he was arrested, or while in prison |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:33pm On Nov 20, 2025 |
BlueRayDick: At least it will be on record that he was sentenced to prison like any of the previous secessionists and trouble makers.
If Tinubu then decides to pardon him, I guess he will have to contend with families of those that died in the violence incited by Kanu. Kanu's case is a case of the side effects of pampering crime. When he was in Kenya, his atrocities were still fresh. Even the people defending him now, were not defending him then. In prison, he started this Sit at Home, which has turned to something else. The same way that BH was pampered with rehabilitation. Today, we have Bandits collecting ransoms. Always learn to set examples early. No matter how brutal, set it. There's obviously no justice on this matter. Tinubu will definitely release him, because the whole SE politicians will go and negotiate. I spit on the whole case! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:25pm On Nov 20, 2025 |
BlueRayDick: Nnamdi Kanu sentenced to Life Imprisonment instead of Death Sentence Tinubu, preparing his pardon script in 2026. E be like say Kanu and dem Maryam wey dem dis-pardon, go come out together. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:11pm On Nov 20, 2025 |
Theflint1: The problem with selective justice is that it creates a case for characters that are very much deserving of the sentence they received.
If Nnamdi Kanu is where a line gets drawn in the sand for all acts of terrorism, then so be it...I won't be holding my breath tho. That's just it. The only problem is the selective justice. The one that bombed a building and other acts got 20 years, of which he has served 8. If Kanu is to die, there should be no case for rehabilitating any terrorist, or negotiating with bandits |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 3:24pm On Nov 20, 2025 |
reccy: I hope they put the same efforts on bandits, boko haram and kidnapers ravaging our societies, killing, ransacking, kidnapping and disrupting the peace of the society if not, it amounts to greatest injustice ever.
One day, this forced marriage will be dissolved and it will be televised globally through the length and breadth of the world. There's already injustice. Because while the right thing is make Kanu pay for his crimes, we have the ones up north being rehabilitated and enrolled into the Army. Whatever verdict given today is right, but then there's still injustice |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:59pm On Nov 20, 2025 |
BlueRayDick: I like how the prosecution went for the jugular in this Nnamdi Kanu's trial.
You don't incite people to create anarchy and then expect a light sentence. I'm sure people like the Akunyilis will feel some level of relief that just has finally been served as regards their father's death when the Kanu is finally sentenced The only stuuppiidd defence is that he was kidnapped from Kenya. Rubbish You see Buhari? You see that guy? Let us not curse the dead... |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:56pm On Nov 20, 2025 |
raumdeuter: This sounds credible to me. Cos think about it if you want to kidnap, why wont you go for someone who is an expatriate and will have money than people who are poor, when you see the level of poverty of some of those kidnapped,, you will know except govt rescues them, there is no one going to pay 100K for him
Yet these Chinese an Lebanese are moving around you freely who can guarantee you dollars
Maybe the Chinese even supply them weapons and logistics too, Chase villagers out and we mine in peace Very possible Especially the Asians..They are one group that will look for how to cut corners, when they enter a system. Mining is seriously happening in Nigeria, and na dem dey in charge. Most of the quarries I see while traveling are owned by the Chinese. I'm not sure they pay adequately for how they are degrading the environment When that place scatter, they move to another place |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:34pm On Nov 20, 2025 |
raumdeuter: There are so many Lebanese and Chinese in the NW, North Central in Nigeria running construction and illegal mines are they being kidnapped at a high rate or do they have a side deal with the bandits that guarantees their security in exchange for something
I will be thinking that the foreigners will have a higher ransom value that random villagers who probably have never seen 20K in the last 3 months
When the Niger Delta militancy was ongoing, the expatriates were being targeted more and it makes economic sense cos they will command a higher ransom Those guys invest a lot in their security There are rumors that they sponsor these attacks too. When they discover a village that has something to be mined, rather than go through the process of negotiations and paying royalties, they use bandits to chase out everyone and begin their mining I have no proof of this |

BlueRayDick: I also have issues with how Buhari held him for long without convicting him. The whole thing made it look like he was being persecuted when in fact he is supposed to be made to answer for his crime of inciting violence and destabilizing the eastern part of the country. The Prosecution and Defence arguments was mostly based on technicality "Dismiss this motion, don't dismiss this motion" People who have died because of his reckless statements have suddenly been forgotten, courtesy of Buhari |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:49am On Nov 20, 2025 |
BlueRayDick: I think u should try and follow the judgement on Channels TV Live streaming on Youtube. The judge alleged this man refused to call defense witness who would have made his defense strong.
How can he refuse to open defence and then turn around to claim the court is bent on declaring him guilty ?
Let me tell u the truth; Kanu is showing signs of madness with how he has handled this case. The Judge even tried to be lenient sef. When he was saying rubbish, the judge stopped him, and told his sacked lawyers to help him out. He even was willing to allow them sit near him, Incase he needed any help presenting his case. After everything, he didn't let the judge talk. Just dey shout. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:47am On Nov 20, 2025 |
BlueRayDick: For where?
The judge even begged him to use counsel of senior lawyers like Kanu Agabi, he declined. The fact that he was always unruly in court sef will count against him. Look at how the DSS was begging him to leave the court room. He was just shouting and cursing. There's no courtroom on earth where that would be allowed. No one. I don't blame him at all. He's now a hero, courtesy of Buhari. His case now looks like persecution too, when you see how terrorists from the north are pampered. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:39am On Nov 20, 2025 |
Spy360: If you're in his place, when they pass a unlawful judgement on you like sentence you to death, take a bow and say, as my lord pleases'.
If you do otherwise, then you're just being silly 1) They haven't passed any judgement yet 2) He did not submit his closing statement, and the judge has to deliver the judgment today. The judge dismissed it and Kanu is saying he has no right to, but he didn't submit it. He should go and rest. I wonder when barking in a court changes your conviction |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:33am On Nov 20, 2025 |

At least, halt the scheme for now till we have little control over the security of the country.
God knows if I have my way, I will skip this scheme.... Lol Just tell your LI to keep your 77k. |

'Show me where in your law that you want to convict me'
How is that hard to answer if you're going to pass a judgement that will affect the life of an individual? And then you go about shouting and insulting the whole court? You call the Judge "Mad"...Tells him God will punish him...Abi? I really don't blame him....Nah I don't, at all If not that Buhari wanted to score very nonsense points, this matter would have been a forgotten issue |

Watching Kanu defend himself is very funny E don use "My Lord" tire. But I think he isn't doing badly. Probably years of going to court and dealing with lawyers helped him to be able to present himself well, and use their terms |
