Tochex101: Reporting about the abduction of a Brigadier General was too bitter a pill for the military to swallow, they preferred to play the ostrich and hope on his recovery. All assets were deployed to aid his recovery but it appears it all came to naught.
Also note that the military has still yet to comment or change their previous statement, the news of his death is coming from the terrorists themselves....
He was abducted but the military would not change their statement till his death is verified through video or they can find his corpse........ pata pata they'll subtly change the narrative to MIA.........the shame is too much.
Maximum respect to those who take the night watch. Maximum oh. I really am not a fan of the Military, but seeing their sacrifices for almost nothing changed my view. Even for 50,000 a day, I wouldn't do that. Person go dey bush for months because e dey serve Nigeria. Na why that $100k per player wey Tinubu share no too sweet me. People are literally dying for Nigeria |

Ellexy: But how is it that not one terrorist, bandit, or killer herdsman despite years of mass murder, kidnappings and entire villages wiped out has been prosecuted to the point of receiving a death sentence. Not one. Instead, we watch them being granted amnesty, rehabilitated and absorbed into the security apparatus of the nation.
Yet a Christian farmer who defended himself on his own land from an armed Fulani attacker is the one sitting on death row. How does a nation flip justice upside down so completely that killers walk free while victims are on death row??
I can't understand this, it's impossible. I was surprised to see that those who orchestrated the 2012 bombings are still going to court till today Owo massacre suspects are still going to court. The Akeredolu that was governor then is dead, and yet the suspects are still having their back and forths. |

Bombblacks: Ideally the couple has already talked about marriage and is on the same page about it, before the proposal happens. That way, you’re fairly confident the other person will say yes.
The when and where of the proposal can be a surprise, but the fact that you are going to propose at some point shouldn’t be. Exactly oh |

BlueRayDick: I don't even understand they just feel the ladies will accept marriage proposal just like that without giving it deep thoughts.
Funny thing is most of the guys who do it actually know they have one or two unresolved issues they are yet to iron out with the lady they are proposing marriage to.
For example now, u can be dating a lady and she has issues with u smoking and u are yet to give up smoking. Then u wake one morning, buy ring , go on bended knees and ask if she will marry u. The lady can say no because she has personal principle that she won't marry a smoker who may die untimely due to lungs issues. No amount of "SAY YES" will make such a lady accept at that point. Shebi if u had asked her in privacy and she says no giving reason for ur smoking habit, its either u decide to give up smoking for her or just move on to someone else who has no issues with ur smoking habit. But guys would rather televise their own rejection. A discussion with your partner will even let you know if you should do so, or not. If a girl is ready to enter marriage, you can get that clarity. The same for a man Why am adult chooses to be this stupid, is what I cannot understand |

BlueRayDick: https://www.nairaland.com/8563028/male-corper-weeps-profusely-after
I think these public wedding proposals is a borrowed culture that will always be strange to me sha.
If you are in a relationship with a woman and she's been leading you on after ticking all the boxes of marriageable qualities you seek in a woman, why not just express your intentions of marrying her directly in privacy? If she says yes, good for you; If she says no then all well and good....You will swallow ur L and move on with dignity.
The whole public display of proposal seems like mounting unnecessary pressure on her. Some women would say yes despite being unsure and then few months in marriage wahala go happen. I hope more ladies keep embarrassing these men. If you cannot display your foooolishness in secret, do well to document it for the world to see. |

Such incentive will only motivate the team to score as many goals as possible, win the game, share the money and go home. Why una dey blame agency wey wan motivate the team? Since when they have been promising such, what competition have they dominated? They go home with $50k like yesterday, and leave the fans crying. Kimbeast: Gattuso argued that the qualification system has become increasingly unfair to European teams.
“In my day, the best [group] runners-up went straight to the World Cup, now the rules have changed,” he said as quoted by ESPN. “To change the rules, you need to tell those who organize these tournaments.”
He pointed to the rise in African slots as one example of shifting qualification dynamics.
In 1990 and 1994, there were two African [three qualified in 1994] teams, now there are nine. It’s not a
controversy, but there are difficulties, and we know it well,” Gattuso stated. How does arguing about the qualification of European teams being unfair, translate to African teams should be reduced? Also show us where he said that South American teams too have almost all their football playing countries qualifying. Because he complained about it too Italy won 5 of their 6 games, and failed to qualify....Is that not unfair enough for him to complain? |
