This a personal experience for you and not generalised for all atheists. However I must say that after becoming atheist death has taken a different perspective in my mind. While the fear has somewhat abated, the finality of it means it does have an impact in how I conduct my affairs.

1. What of if you die in the process?
For one who believes that life terminates at death, it shouldn't be your worries after all, everybody will die one day.
2. What if you succeed?
Then, you will spend the remainder of your life in relative comfort. In addition to your wealth you'll have power, fame and you may even go into politics and become our president.

Why limit your potential if you have nothing to lose?
Why submit yourself to the limitations of laws that are made by fellow star dust?

BTW:
If you are scared of horror movies (not even demons), your knowledge of God is questionable while you claimed to be a christian.

If you really want to know the truth:
Our mortality makes everything we do and achieve meaningless!

Solomon was powerful that no power in the world could challenge his authority. He reigned like he would never end.

Right now it is western secular democracy in the picture. When a new zaman comes this secularism will also shift. It is God that rotates affairs of humans. If this is not clear to you, you should ponder on MKO Abiola. The richest man in Nigeria in his time. He reigned like forever. During his time Dangote did not exist. From no where Dangote emerged and becomes the richest man in Africa. A time will come when everything will shift from him and given to someone else.

It is all parts of Divine Plan. So you can hug transformer if you hate Sharia Law so so much.

Just finished watching Money Heist and I'd say it's a masterpiece.

spoilers ahead

But here some things that just doesn't add up in the movie.

For example when "The Professor" seemed to have had a such a master plan already why then did he ruin it by gathering a bunch of amateurs (I called the whole crew amatuers due to their babyish attitudes)


the plan was just too pro to give a bunch of kids that couldn't keep away their feelings for just 10+ days they spent in there. In fact the movie was just ruined due to the that foolishness by the writers

Gbam! This is exactly what put me off in the first place. The melodrama. Everything is overblown and over-dramatized. I couldn't stand the infantile behaviour of some of the major characters, esp the narrator. In fact, the whole thing is soapish.

First, start with Oz, and work your way down to [i]The Wire, The Sopranos, Broadwalk Empire, The Newsroom, 6 Feet Under, Show me a Hero, The Shield, Sons of Anarchy, Weeds, Patrick Melrose, Dexter, The Leftovers, The Chi, Succession, Taboo, Billions, Homeland, The Affair, Fargo, The Deuce.... So many, but start with these.

What f**kup?? Telenovela are latin shows that are synonymous with exaggerated emotions. In other words, latin shows that are melodramatic. Google the definition of "melodrama".

Eya. You just stumbled on the show recently, and is wowed. Understandable. I've been there. I recommended the show to people last year in the series thread. The irony is I fall out of love with it pretty fast even as people were asking me for links. I found it melodramatic. Everything is just too much drama. A lot of people love it though.

The hype about the series was so high at the series thread that I've downloaded the complete 2 seasons 2 weeks ago. The only reason I'm yet to watch it is that I'm still trying to complete The Blacklist season 1 to 5 and Killing Eve season 1. After them, I'll watch it. Even my friends I sent the series to can't stop raving about it.

3% is a decent dystopian sci-fi from Brazil. Club de Cuervos is an hilarious football comedy from Mexico. El Chapo is a narcotics-themed drama from Mexico. Vis-a-Vis (Locked up) is a prison-themed drama from Spain. Gomorrah is a fantastic Mafia-themed drama from Italy. Narcos is a narcotics-themed drama from Colombia/US.

I dig these shows because they don't give off telenovela vibes. They're not melodramatic. They're serious business.

Money Heist don't have these qualities.

Dude, it's telenovela-ish. I know this because I have watched the whole thing long ago. The found the narrator very aggravating. The first season started out okay, but by the time I rolled into season 2, I was bored as f**k.
