It is because man is evolving beyond the folly of religion in those climes.
Just in terms of allocation of time resources, religion is not very efficient. There's a lot more I could be doing on a Sunday morning.

Catholics make the best atheists because...............

because........................................

...........................because they are less likely to go to another church once they lose faith in the catholic church!!!

Unlike protestants who can jump from deeper life to winners to redeemed church...........

Hallo Mazaje,

I was afraid someone was going to ask that question...Lol!!! grin

If I tell you that I have one super duper logic to defend my position on this, then I would be lying. I have reviewed some of the arguments against IVF and quite frankly, I can't find any plausible 'reason' why it should not be accepted.

Though I agree with some of the thought processes against the acceptance of IVF but still there seem to be something missing in the arguments against it.

Anyways, I do not accept IVF because accepting it would mean going against the teachings of the Catholic church which I subject myself to. It's basically because of the words of Christ that I accept this:

Matthew 16:19
New International Version (NIV)

19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

I trust Christ, hence I trust the Church to guide me in everything that has to do with faith and morals.

I know this misses the 'mark' for you but it is my position.

People close to me who have died and their actions before their death(including my brother). Words that they spoke etc. Some died in accidents, some died of sickness, some where killed by stray bullet, some just collapsed and died yet their actions and words ahead of the incident that killed them are so convincing that things are happening on the other side of life. Some of these people were good christians, some were not.

Uyi, these incidences are better witnessed than told. I cant even tell the stories well. Those who wants to believe the no-God crap can go ahead at their eternal detriment.

The one of death is just one part of the mysteries i ve seen in this life, there are other things too. Surely the no-God crap is not for people like me.
Mysteries = God exists.

Is that why we hardly have any popular muslim comedian on the big scene?

Unfortunately, I refuse to believe that.

Tall men dont marry only tall women

I see no reason why tall women should marry only tall men.

Unless of course, one has to take the assumption that women are more vain and less intelligent than men. Which is not good........

6. "There is no evidence to support a belief in God."
Yes, there is. Testimonial evidence abounds. Millions claim that God has
touched their hearts, cured their illnesses and improved their lives.
Atheists refuse to acknowledge this evidence, because they accept only
scientifically verifiable evidence. This is a restriction that they have
chosen to place upon themselves, yet they demand that others do the same
thing, which is ridiculous. Atheists say that human testimony can't be
trusted because human senses can't be trusted. The fact that this twisted
logic effectively discounts all life experiences doesn't seem to phase
atheists in the least.
It's yet another example of how atheism shuts down
the mind.
Human testimony?

Do you accept my muslim testimony that Allah is the one and true God and that he decrees that no one should drink alcohol?

Charity begins at home.

Dear Ummah,

It is easy to complain about the oppression of muslims in the West. It is easy to say that "they" treat muslims as if they are terrorists. However, we should not forget that there is also oppression of non-muslims in the Middle East and other muslim societies.

It is easy to complain about the ban of hijab or any type of veil in France. However, we should not forget that there are many muslim and non-muslim women who are forced to wear the hijab or cover up in islamic societies as well.

It is not part of our religion, logic boy. We do not have to copy any one. We have not compelled non muslims to celebrate our Eid and we have not complained about them not celebrating it. We also have not asked people who are not Muslims to not celebrate haloween.
Costumes, ghoulish decorations, scary gizmos that you spend money on yearly, the question here is "why do you do it?"
Stop losing sleep over muslims. We will not become like you no matter how much you long for it. We were created for a purpose, to worship Allah. Meaning to remember Him in all our affairs. We live with purpose. Our religion is a complete way of life, we do not copy.

Live and let live
Wow...you need to reign in your emotions and temper.

No one is forcing muslims to participate in Halloween celebrations!.
