I need to confirm from you if the S/W I downloaded from the link above is the right one to fix the patch problem on srt4669xii and the steps to follow. [b][/b]

there must be a tangible reason why a software download and apply on rx if 4 the darkside reason the software u download is not the right one, if not you are good to launch{be warned}google zip /unzip of software then download it to ur computer system then use it to unzip the software if its zip.

akinis09: wat u hav 2 do is remove multi tv cable frm ur diseqc switch or ensure dat d multi tv cable is nt connected 2 ur box,so as to stop d ota 4rm damagin ur box.bt if ur box is original al u hav 2 do is upload d latest patch (3.02p) 2 ur box nd it wil stop d ota nd it wil also enable u 2 continue enjoyin ur dongle.

D.lee is right about methodology of blocking OTA menu download or change the sat name from intelsat7/10 to other sat.over!

@ call2 u are with good cable but as you said bending might worse the quality of signal if the wire turned in the process of laying the cable. For now manage what you had though as time go on the signal might drop from what you had presently due to alot of.....distance,stress of the cable{bending} and blackman factor a.k.a prying eyes of our people !.HALF A BREAD IS BETTER THAN NOTHING,or get more amp as specify by colleague. @ OBNELLY are you on sabatical leaf enjoy ur rest under fta canopy. over !

satmate how much do buy each coil of wire that u used for the installation .....because amp might not solve the problem at hand first get the correct component , had link two coil of strong coaxial cable with f-connector signal % is still the same so why ur own is giving you sleepness night?

the distance is much though but the quality of wires used might be poor i.e not real copper if you cant still look for a quality coaxial cable to test it b4 buying one with magnet
