I can finally share my first good news on this thread.

After a grueling 6 months of transcript and verification issues with OOU for my diploma attained in 2006, my ECA is finally ready. Completion date was September 19 but only God and WES knows why it took so long

Also my degree equivalent from the UK (British Computer Society ) was evaluated to be a canadian bachelors degree so I can now officially claim points for two certificates! So if you or someone you know has BCS qualifications in IT, they should evaluate it

Thank you newmum and happytbaby for encouraging me to go through the naija stress of evaluating my diploma. I spent almost 150k and 4 trips to ago-iwoye. Coming back home late at night with bad roads and crazy drivers. If you know Epe express way, you will understand. This is not ppr but its a breakthrough for me. Now awaiting IELTS tomorrow.

My Brother. It is well. OOU has been showing me orishirishi things since Last year October all because of ECA. I am also following Mrs Kaka closely she stopped picking my calls since last week Wednesday. I too dunno what next to do, I was also told she wasn't at work yesterday and I am praying she will respond to WES today. The wait is crazy believe me I understand. It will surely end in praise. How long has she been away?

Who were the people you spoke to?

Did they tell you when she would be back?

The honest truth is that she is the only one that has been assigned to that desk(transcript verification).

Mine took forever too before it was sorted.

You need to find out from your contact person(s) the questions I asked so you can know the next step to take.

It is possible they assign someone else to relieve her while she is away.

Please i need help and advise....ECA with WES
My 1st degree was with OOU and WES sent a verification request on the 26th of July...

OOU claimed their mailbox server was down and they dont recieve hardcopy...there server was back in mid August...
WES insisted that until the 7weeks of waiting elapsed they wont be sending another request.
The waiting period was over on the 14th of September, then WES finally send another request on the 18th of September....SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN CALLING MRS KAKA, AND EVERY CONTACT I HAVE IN OOU.

Today i was told Mrs Kaka is sick and not around.

PLEASE IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO...I started WES since late March and OOU has been keeping me from even creating my EE Profile till date.

Any ideas /suggestion?
Is there anyone from OOU that can Help?
I pray that no one goes through this but is there anyone here also facing this?

I was in this situation two months ago.

WES sent an email for verification to OOU since the 18th of June.But there was a lot of back and forth because the lady in charge of verification claimed she did not get the mail. I was really frustrated.

Eventually I found out that the school's mail was down and this wasn't rectified up until the first week in August. By this time the seven weeks had passed and so WES resent the verification mail.This time they received it.

My expected date of completion is next this month.

My advise for you is to either send an email to WES requesting them to resend immediately or wait for the 7 weeks period before WES resends.

Please we need advice. My wife is the PA , we both have our ielts done. Her School has sent her diploma, degree and their transcripts to WES and they have confirmed receipt of the documents, they then sent a mail(verificaton mail) to her school since mid july, but then the school's email was down for a month, the school has problems with receiving hard copy. But the schools email came back up Mid August and since we didnt want to wait 7 weeks before WES resends another mail ( School has checked the emails but have not received any mail from WES), we called WES and they sent a personal mail to my wife , saying we should not get involved because it is between WES and the School(OSU). The 7 weeks has passed and we are now in the 8th week , still no mail from WES. Please what can we do? Any advice?

I know that feeling, especially if you know you put a lot of effort and was optimist about the outcome, do not dismay nor beat yourself up about it, you can either go for EOR or rewrite I did both. When preparing for the second one I read a lot of model essays and the rest they say is history. just refire, we await your testimony
