Jesus made sure we know that life exists after death and that the prosperity of this world is NOTHING if you miss out of the eternal prosperity.
Mat 16:26:
"For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

Jesus spoke of the blessing of God as the kingdom prepared from the foundation of the world to His children.
Mat 25:33-34:
"And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say to them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:"


Finally, Paul helps us the see the magnitude of the Blessings of God for His Children by the verse

1Cor 2:9:
"But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him."

Just imagine a person praying for Nigeria to get better for all being among those who is corruptly enriching himself or herself at the detriment of the country and some of them even give to their religious organizations out of their proceeds of corruption!

It's very easy to convert a frustrated Christian to anything because, they are been lied to every Sunday. Pastors tell them that God is watching over them and will do everything for them in times of need but it's fat lie. God watches everyone and had provided for all men. It is our job to act and get rewarded. We should go to church to communicate to God and thank him for everything. It is important for our soul and not because we want to please God. Fellowship with Christ should be a hubby and fun at the same time. You don't go to church to ask for anything because, everything has been given. If you having a bad time, thank God, good times thank God. It's not his fault that you are having a bad time, it is your fault or nature. Look for a way to get out of it and still thank God. However, when your soul is in constant communication with God, miracle can happen. Things you didn't expect, unmerited favor, impossible things. These miracles are involuntary and it's not connected to your righteousness or whatnot. They are simply called miracle because, you don't deserve it anyways.

From The passage, your god clearly asks for prayers to save a country. Now Nigeria has been doing that for years. Any respite? No.

God didn't ask us to depend on miracles to live our lives; in fact, miracles are majorly to make unbelievers believe in God. God has given us brains to handle situations. One should pray and expect a miracle mainly when the situation is beyond human effort.

You might believe your situation is a case of luck, but mine is a miracle. I prayed, and God answered me.
