If you are familiar with our teaching hospitals, you would know that this had been a fundamental problem. The medical doctors look down on all non-doctors!

I won't speak for every doc but I don't look down on others. I had pharmacist and nurses friends when I did my housejob in upth. I knew many other docs like that too. There may be arrogant docs but its a personal issue. There's other arrogant folks like nurses, engineers, lawyers etc. U don't needing to generalize it.

I don't have issues with others being called doctors. We aren't the only people to be called doctors, there's academic and vet docs. Everyone is on his or her own lane. No physician has been crying cos a vet is also a doc, so why should you think we'll start now? If my dog is sick, I take it to a vet. If a human is sick, he comes to me. Everyone is happy.
Btw, so what has this convo gotta do with me complaining about practicing fees?

I just went to GMC and NHS website. Its not true. They'll do the regular medical degree and this apprenticeship is a pilot program

I'm no physician, and unfortunately caught mine in my village which caused many to assume "village people".

Turned out I'd stupidly self-inflicted myself with spinal schistosomiasis caught from swimming in the beautiful enticing lake by my farm land that I ignorantly didn't know was infested during the drier months of the year.

I thank the amazingly dedicated physicians at Lewisham Hospital and King's Hospital and the Hospital For Tropical Diseases who worked day and night to get me back on my two feet. There was no way I could have afforded the amazing care I got, and neither could I claim I deserved it.
