Funny how many Nigerians are criticizing Emmanuel Adebayor here. It's his money. He earned it. He can spend it any way he wants. If he doesn't plan well and goes broke tomorrow, na him fault be that. That is not your problem. At least, he didn't steal or embezzle it from government, like our corrupt Nigerian "officials" and politricians always do. Let us worry about the $43 million that was found in an Ikoyi apartment. Do you know what happened to it? Will anybody ever be brought to justice about it? NO, I don't think so. Because na very big Naija guys stole that money and put it there. Money cannot move itself. People have to move it. Do we know exactly what happened to the stolen millions of dollars and millions of pound sterling? What about the millions found on the seized jet supposedly owned by Pastor Oritsejafor sent by Jonathan to South Africa? Or the 28 billion (that was the "good" old Nigerian Naira) found on a Nigerian helicopter that was forced to land in Idi Amin ruled Uganda, many decades ago during the first Obasanjo administration? Do we know what happened to that money? What about the billions stolen by Babangida, Danjuma and Atiku, et al? The average Nigerian will never know. The Ikoyi money was the one that we know. What about all the other stolen billions that we don't even know anything about? You guys are worried about Adebayor when you should focus on those crooks who have robbed Nigeria's dreams and continue to destroy that country everyday. At least Adebayor donates money to help education and the local schools. If na Naija, the politricians go chop the government money instead of doing good things with it. How many rich Nigerian entertainers (all these musicians, actors, business men and women, millionaire celebrities) have helped average Nigerians? Name them and tell us what exactly they did and how much they spent. And I am not talking about just giving away loaves of bread or bags of rice one time. What concrete or permanent thing have the Nigerian affluent and all those rich entertainers done besides partying and showing off all their houses and cars? How many of them have donated 10 million dollars to education or to a local project? How about our many millionaire pastors and 419 "preachers" who ride around in private jets, expensive cars and suits and shoes but do nothing to help the average Nigerian man or woman who is left to die and suffer? Remove the log from your own eye first before you decide to criticize your neighbor. Ask yourself, did Jesus travel in a car? Did Jesus wear expensive clothes, shoes and clothes? No he wore sandals and walked a lot. Did Jesus live in a mansion or expensive house? Nigerians, stop deceiving yourselves and stop trying to fool the rest of us. I like Bill Gates. He donates millions to important causes and very needy people around the whole world. Gates is very humble but everybody is not Bill & his wife - Melinda Gates. Adebayor donates to his local community and to thousands of Togolese children. That is good enough for me. A donation to education lasts forever. Abeg make una let him enjoy his money joor. |
A190:Bah! Wetin you mean na wa for you? So wetin I talk here wey you no fancy? |
These Nigerians sef. Cassava thief ke? Abeg make una leave that poor man alone. Idiots. Shame no dey catch una? Common cassava, ba? Why don't you go and catch those stealing governors, senators and government officials who are stealing millions of dollars from the treasury and robbing the country dry? |
SIMPLE If you believed that you were wronged and that you have a legitimate case, then just get a good Nigerian lawyer and sue the Nigerian Army and the Government in court and get compensated for your losses and/or damages. By law, no one has the right to "illegally" seize, acquire or take over another person's property or to deny that person the right to make his or her legitimate livelihood. |
MrBrownJay1:Your question was the same exact question that I had asked in the topic of my post from one year ago. See the link provided here: https://www.nairaland.com/3083939/always-wondered-got-mad-women It proves that certain men will sleep with anybody that has an opening between her legs (including a homeless, vulnerable, mentally-ill woman) and worse, they will even do it without any condom or protection. The poor woman and her baby should be tested immediately for any STDs or other diseases that they might have been exposed to. Hope that they did not contract any disease(s) from the rapist-animal who fathered this child. The type of men who engage in these type of bastard behavior should be arrested immediately and summarily charged with rape because a mentally-ill woman is clearly a vulnerable adult person, and as such, she is not in any position or in any capable state of mind to give her legal consent for sex to anybody. Therefore this is clearly a case of rape because such "predator-men" are doing nothing but simply "snatching" the pussy from a person who they know does not have the capacity to protect herself or fight off her attacker or even resist. This woman is a vulnerable adult. She is a rape victim. Let's call a spade a spade. THIS IS RAPE! Everyone ought to condemn the act. |
She is too thick to be an Ethiopian. And for those complaining about her exposing her boos, which one concern una? Shebi na her boobs now. She can show them if she wants. Anybody force you to watch am? |
Only one that was proud enough to wear an African attire among all the African leaders at the summit. The rest of them (Kenyatta et al, are all donned Western style suits. Bravo to Osinbajo. Looks nice. If only he could buy some height. Just 5 or 6 inches would have done it. Blame that on the parents. Not his fault. But at least Osinbajo looks like he belongs. Does not look lost among his peers, like some of our previous leaders. |
Their dad is Yoruba and mom is Indian/Nepalese. Both of them met in Germany, and Denrele was born in Hamburg, Germany. Both Denrele and sister Aderonke live androgynous lifestyles but their other sister Jumoke is not! She (Jumoke) is a normal-looking gal. Although I am personally NOT a fan of their gender-bending lifestyle, but I don't think anybody has a right to criticize or hate them because of that. It is their life and they have a right to live it the way they choose, as long as they are not harming or hurting anyone. Let them live their life! There are three children in total, Denrele and two sisters. The other sister (Jumoke) looks like a regular woman. I think Jumoke is beautiful. Jumoke is curvy and very sexy-looking. SEE HER PHOTO HERE: https://www.nigeriafilms.com/movie-news/93-touch-of-thoughts/44728-denrele-edun-s-sister-jumoke-edun-esposed |
keneharry:I think you have missed the "boat" here, my friend. Since you asked me for an explanation, I will give you one. No, I will give you two below. But first, let's look at the word donate. The word donate typically connotes an act of charitable giving. Therefore, you cannot describe something that you take from Peter and then give to Paul, as a donation. POINT No 1. It is like you giving some lunch money to your daughter or buying school books for your son or buying shoes for your father or wiring some Western Union dollars to your mother and then you turn around and describe it as a donation. No, it cannot be a donation. That is the wrong word to use. What kind of donation is that? That's an oxymoron! YOU CANNOT CALL WHAT YOU GIVE TO YOUR OWN FAMILY A DONATION! It is called a GIFT or a PRESENT, not a donation. There is both a real and a subtle difference here. So the heading of the post or article should have been something more like: State Government "gives or gifts 8 boats to the Nigerian Navy" or Governor "approves 8 boats" for the NN, because Government does not donate to Government. POINT No. 2 Second point but not any less important is this - You cannot "donate" something that is not yours to another person. Therefore, you cannot call something a "donation" if the governor did not personally buy the boats with his own money. As far as we know, they used State money to buy the boats, therefore, the Governor did not donate anything to anybody. PERIOD. Kapish? |
So these idiots think that we are all mugus. Okay. Just tell any story wey you like, and we will just believe you. Thieves. Criminals. Yeye people. Barawo. Ole, Onye-oshi. Amadiora go burn una and Shango go strike all of una for all the Nigerians wey don die and suffer because of your corruption and thievery. |
Oya, you can now practice your Building Engineering school knowledge on the prison walls. Na practicals be that. As a building engineer, you should know exactly what it takes to break out of prison and escape. Abi, no be so? Idiot. |
babylawyr:I agree 100% with you. Same thing I was asking. Did he buy those boats with his own personal money? I doubt it. The thread originator used a very misleading caption. Back to JOURNALISM 101 class - You cannot use the word "donate" for something purchased with public money or funds from the state coffers and given by one branch of government to another branch. It constitutes an oxymoron to use the word "donate or donates" in this instance. To give or allocate something purchased with the tax-payers money cannot and should not be ascribed as a "donation" by the governor. |
At least Buratai look like a real soldier. Him no get big belle sticking out of im uniform like one Uncle Sege a.k.a. Baba Iyabo. He might not be the greatest officer but he looks the part. Wetin im go do for Brazil sef? Abi im carry our money go for there go hide am? |
Is this the same guy who threatened to "kick" innocent Ibo residents out of Lagos but then when Fulani people were doing all their attacking and making all kinds of threats and noise in Lagos, he just acted like the coward that he really was - just like a tamed "ologbo" or a scared pussy cat. Oba of Lagos ko. Oba of Isaleeko ni. They should just call him Oba of Sogal (as in Lagos spelled backwards). He should be ashamed of himself. The man should be demoted to a 3rd rank ordinary chief. Yeye bush man. E no get class. No manners at all. |
Many of us fondly like to label and proclaim Nigeria as The Giant of Africa while others describe her as The Sleeping Giant, PERIOD! Whichever is your preferred nickname for Nigeria (we are by far the most populous country and also with the most educated number of persons in Africa). Maybe it's high time that we started paying attention to how some of our very immediate neighbors look at us. They are not flattered by us. From the perspective of our smaller neighbors such as Chad, Cameroon and Niger, we are simply one big but very weak and scared GIANT. A big man that likes to chop a big plate of eba, soup and ponmo but cannot fight anybody. A big man that likes to show off, talk big talk and flex his big muscles but when fight comes now, he just takes off and runs. A big man who screams and hollers and makes a lot of loud shakara oloje noise with his big mouth but he cannot defend even his own house or his own backyard. Just listen to this Chadian Colonel and other Army officers verbally lambaste (3:35 to 5:10 on the video tape) and tell just how little they think of the Nigerian Army and its corp of soldiers. It is not flattering at all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsyM6p2hNqE They claim that Nigerian soldiers are corrupt and only like to pursue and spend money and ride fancy cars and do not want to fight. They accuse cannot destroy even a relatively small Boko Haram band of militant thugs. Are they right? Well, what's your own opinion? What do you think? Do you agree or disagree with them? And if you disagree with them, tell us the reason or reasons why? |
Idiot. Bully. Na hair be Naija's problem? Go find some real work to do. This guy just like to play with women's hair. He's a Superfreak. |
In my opinion, Ibadan is a much better city than Lagos. More space. Much peaceful and laid back. Less crowded. Less traffic. And much friendlier. The only good thing about Lagos is that because it is the commercial capital of Nigeria, there is always plenty of buzz there and a lot of cash flow. Lagos basically has everything you want and you can find and buy anything that you desire but it is still a hell-hole of a city to live in. The city is NOT planned at all. For a city of that population, the state of infrastructure is deplorable. Mass transit leaves a lot to be desired. Just the state of traffic congestion and rubbish in Eko City alone will give you a migraine headache or some serious high blood pressure. You see people in broad daylight, in a crouched or bent over position, just taking a shit and wiping their asses, right there, next to the overpass or the flyovers and right by the lagoon simply because there is no public toilet they can use. There is no clean water. Filth and pollution everywhere. |
What witch? Where is the proof that they are witches. They look like some mentally-ill women to me. In Africa, mentally sick persons are routinely labeled as witches - by some uninformed people. These women are lucky they were caught in Zimbabwe and not in Nigeria. It would have been jungle justice. They would have been stoned or burned to death by a mob. What a shame. Ignorance is bliss. |
BOGO Buy One Get One free! For this guy, no need to go looking outside for anything anymore. If the two ladies are happy and the man is happy, then no one should complain. I wish them the best. At least these two women know who their man is sleeping with every night. Good for them. Any man who is hating on this man, is just jealous. He gets to eat his gari, amala, ponmo and rice all at the same time. Very lucky man. |
Expensive custom decorated cake. Hundreds of bottles of drinks and refreshments. Food. Treats. So I ask, who is really paying for all these stuff? Is it the people of Enugu State or is it the Governor, personally? A governor's birthday party should be a personal celebration - NOT a state-sponsored event. Nigerians clearly do not know how to draw the line between a governor's personal expenses and state expenses. And what's the real message this governor is trying to send to Nigerians and Enugu people? Come serve your time at our Enugu Prison and you might just get a once in a lifetime chance to party with and be entertained by our Governor? |
I never get tired of asking people, what is the big freaking deal about any Nigerian politician eating food at a road-side eatery or diner? Why do you guys keep posting all this nonsense about Nigerian politicians and entertainers and so-called celebrities just doing ordinary things? Why don't you show us when they make a huge donation or do something important or significant for the country or for Nigerian people? Some of you guys only show us photos of big cars and mansions owned by Nigerian politicians and entertainers. What have they done for society? This is all useless information. Tell me something about what this man has done or contributed to Nigerian society or for the average Nigerian man or woman on the street. I don't care whether he is eating amala and ewedu or suya or even snake meat. I don't care whether he is drinking odeku or palm-wine. I don't care what type of car he is riding. Stop glorifying these jokers for doing nothing for the country. Glorify them only when they do something concrete for people or for the society. It just makes you people come across as ordinary cheerleaders and common praise-singers. And if you are on Dino's payroll or you are his publicist, then just tell us so and I will understand that you are only doing your job. There is no problem with doing your job. But this photo thing is no news. |
harbdulrasaq88:Is Borno State not located in Northeastern Nigeria? How do you relocate from the same place to the same place? Borno State is northeast and Kogi State is way down in the middle belt of Nigeria. So how do you relocate from the northeast to Borno State? Abi, someone don move the states? Abeg explain. |
This governor must have been the "Food Prefect" back when he was in school. E sabi chop! See how the guy dey murder the amala and gbegiri like there is no tomorrow. Chai! He must be very hungry. E be like say the meat na plenty of eran orisi-risi fuku, shaki, edo, abodi, ishan, ponmo, everything dey there. This governor sabi wack o. E no dey take im food play at all. Let's hope that he governs his state with the same level of zeal and enthusiasm that he uses to eat his amala and ewedu and gbegiri. Meanwhile, many of his state subjects are hungry and penniless. Naija sef. See me, see trouble o. Monkey dey work. Baboon dey chop. No be so? metro4: |
These people in these photos are dressed in long gowns and scarfs the same way that Moslem people do. What church is this one sef? Is it Aladura or is it Cherubi & Serafom? Nigeria has more churches than health care centers and doctor's clinics. |
Back in the days when Nigerian soldiers were real soldiers. Not fake. Not Shakara. Not corrupt. Not thieves. Back then, dem no dey chop our money. Dem no play politics. No corruption. Dem protect the country. Not attacking Nigerians. Back when Nigeria was Nigeria. Our agriculture was very strong. It was the main source of income for the country and it's GDP. Oil was only in it's infant stages - It was NOT even a factor then. Nigeria did NOT depend on oil back then. Oil became a curse instead of a blessing. This country was on the path to be a developed country. Then the Nigerian Army changed. Taken over by greedy, corrupt, uneducated elements. And that is why the country is the way it is now. How we wish we could rewind back the clock and freeze it at that time and just try things again. How we wish we had a different result for the country now. Nigeria could have been the "United States" of Africa if we had done the right thing. Nigeria would have been the model country not just for Africans and African countries, it would have been the envy of the entire world! Yes o. |
Chai Ibori Thief, Ole, Barawo, Onyeoshi, Bastard Chief. Should be sent to Kiri Kiri prison |
Does Baba even have a clue where he is at? He looks like he doesn't know. And who dressed him up in hip-hop clothes, like a young rapper? Ibadan sef. |
You left out one category - Construction Managers! They are responsible for managing projects and overseeing them from beginning to finish. Construction Managers could possess degrees in other related fields, if they so choose to but often, they are neither architects nor engineers. Construction Management is a degree field of its own. And this is usually the common occurrence in the United States. |
Here we go again. Naija peeps sef. Na wa for una. |
What about keke na pepe? And Raleigh BICYCLE nko? Mobylette, Vespa, kabu-kabu, Bole-kaja nko? What about Morris Minor and Bentley, Landrover, Toyota, Honda & Isuzu. Also add BEDFORD lorry. Abi, why not? Seriously, how did the originator of this thread forget to include Mercedes among those famous auto brands? What about Lambo and Porsche? And what about Rolls Royce, Ferrari and Bugatti? The original founders of Mercedes were Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz in 1926 in Stuttgart, Germany. And the company was named after both of them as Daimler-Benz. |
All this over chicken? Naija people sef, na wa for una o. Look at the poor chicken dey suffer, how dem come tie am for ground there? |
Mujaheeeden:How does a man manage to steal so many millions of Nigerian public money but yet he can't even afford to spend a few dollars to fix his own teeth? Na wa. |
