PoliticsRe: Crude Oil Discovered In Borno State....... FG by jagbajantus: 3:15pm On Dec 16, 2016
This is the TRANSLATION:

The more that OIL is discovered in Northern Nigeria, it means the quicker that Nigeria will be breaking up very soon.
The only thing that's keeping Nigeria together is that BLACK GOLD! Therefore, if either more oil is found in the North or oil dries up in the South, then the North will have no logical reason to stay together with Southern Nigeria anymore and the country will promptly separate.
The only single thing that has held the country Nigeria together since independence has been the OIL in the south.
CrimeRe: Thief With Juju Beaten To A Pulp In Onitsha And Burnt Alive (Graphic Pics) by jagbajantus: 5:29pm On Dec 05, 2016
VIGILANTISM is another clear evidence of a "lawless" country! NIGERIANS HAVE NO RESPECT AND NO REGARD FOR THE RULE OF LAW.

The Nigerian Police is ill-equipped, underpaid and inefficient, and are just too slow to respond. No regular around-the-clock police patrol.
Some citizens therefore take the laws, literally into their own hands, as they have no faith in the Police or any patience in the justice system.
It's a shame that these "alleged" criminals are never given a chance to be tried and sentenced in court but are beaten and burned alive.
How do we even know that every single one of these "alleged criminals" are even guilty of the alleged crimes? I guess we will never know.
"Instant Jungle Justice" is never good. I think some of these perpetrators actually enjoy the dastardly act of beating another human being alive.

Property, wealth and money can be replaced but a human life cannot! And the loss of just one single innocent life is never worth the price.
People should only make a "citizen's arrest" or a "temporary hold" of the "alleged" criminal until the Police arrives and picks that person up.
Never should any person, group of people or a crowd become The Judge, The Jury and The Executioner. This is anarchy. IT IS LAWLESS.
Why don't these guys go and beat up the some of the "big men" (Politicians and Generals) who have robbed, stolen and embezzled millions of dollars from Nigerian coffers?
Christianity EtcRe: God Says We Should Not Kill, But How Will A Professional Soldier Cope In War? by jagbajantus: 3:25am On Nov 28, 2016
But God did not say that a person cannot or should not defend him or herself.
Based on that logic therefore, a soldier has every right to take another life under the notion that he was defending himself or his country.

FEW CASES IN POINT
1) The many wars listed in the bible between the Israelis and the Philistines
2) The battle between David and Goliath
3) The battle of Jericho

To name just three. In each case, there were casualties. People died.
Then again, you could ask what about the "hangman" or the "executioner" - the guy whose legal job is to kill other people - by law.
You could ask, is the executioner a killer or is he not? In reality, yes the "executioner" kills people. So why is he not arrested for killing?
Because in real terms, he kills but in a euphemistic sense or legal context, he is not regarded a killer!

AND WHAT KIND OF A COMMENT WAS THAT?
"A Common cab driver, huh?"
Is that the best thing you have to say about this man? A fellow Nigerian who was just murdered?
That's such a crass, elitist and very dumb comment on your part. You should apologize and take it back.
I bet his family will really love your comment. Let me say one thing, it's none of your business whether the guy was selling fried fish or akara. At least, it's better than kidnapping, robbery, doing 419 or smuggling drugs to Malaysia or Indonesia or embezzling money.
Many foreigners in the US (even some with double degrees) have driven taxis at one time or another to support themselves and their family.
There's nothing wrong with that. The way you think is the problem with Nigeria today - GREED. Everyone wants to pretend to live a life that they do not deserve. No one is content. It's about what you look like, not what you really are. Next time, why don't you think first before you make such lowly statements or taking a cheap shot? A degree or money or expensive cars and big homes is NOT everything! Don't forget that you take nothing with you after you die! You leave everything here on earth!
You arrived on this earth with nothing. You leave with nothing!

So you just blow up your whole house trying to kill 3 cockroaches? Abi, no be so?

What sense does it make to blow up barges and containers of oil lying in canals and simply waste all that oil, and further polluting our environment and waterways?
Couldn't there be a more sensible or better way to do both? Save the oil and yet capture the oil thieves and culprits and still bring them to justice? Kill 2 birds with one stone. Confiscate the oil and the containers. And capture and prosecute the criminals. Why can't Nigeria do both? They should not be mutually exclusive.

How is this is different from a man who sets fire to his house because he is trying to kill a rat?
Or a man who burns his entire kitchen down because he is trying to kill a few cockroaches?
This does not make sense at all. IT IS A COMPLETE TACTICAL BLUNDER! A very lazy response and a dumb solution to the problem.
What mumu military commander gave the order?
PetsRe: No Criminal Implications In Naming Dog After Person —lawyers by jagbajantus: 5:22pm On Aug 24, 2016
This should be the first question: Is Nigeria a "free" and "truly democratic" society or not?
Question Number 2: When does being disrespectful, rude, offensive or distasteful constitute a crime?

One of the worst insults to Muslims is to compare them to a dog. Muslims consider it Haram or taboo - totally unacceptable.
But then, last time we checked, Nigeria is not supposed to be a Muslim country, and it is NOT governed by Sharia law.
Was the guy disrespectful and distasteful? Yes. Did he commit a crime under the law? No.
Buhari can sue him in a civil court but cannot arrest him, lock him up or even try him in a criminal court.
This is strictly a civil case. NOT criminal! Imagine if this guy had dared to name his dog Mohammed. There will be civil war by now! Muslims will be killing Christians. BH would have launched another blood-thirsty rampage. Aren't you all glad he didn't name his dog Mohammed?
This case is a test for Buhari. It will let us find out just how "democratic" Nigeria really is.

PoliticsRe: Niger Deltans Drag FG To Ecowas Court Over Oil Blocks Ownership by jagbajantus: 3:48pm On Jun 16, 2016
Many people who are writing here are very ignorant of the history of Nigeria's oil, the oil blocs and the impact on the immediate environment.
Going to court is a peaceful move. It is a better and more logical choice than violence. Therefore, I don't understand why some people here are condemning them for trying the court system. You should be praising them. A court is a better choice than violence. They have a right to go to court to seek redress on any given issue or matter. It doesn't mean that they will get a judgment in their favor but it their right. That is their basic constitutional and human right.

In the beginning, Nigeria used to give 67% of the revenue to the oil-producing states. Then the Soldier Boys seized power and changed it to 0%. Then they changed it again to 13% for the oil-producing states. How can anyone here justify a non-oil producing state such as Sokoto or Zamfara getting almost the same amount of money as Bayelsa, Delta or Rivers State? How do you explain all the damage that has been done to the environment and to the people and the economy in the Niger Delta areas by all these oil thieves and multi-national oil companies such as Shell, Exxon, Total, Chevron, Mobil over billions of Nigerian oil over the years? Everywhere you look there is bribery, waste, damage and corruption. Stolen and misappropriated oil blocs illegally taken and allocated to friends and girlfriends and family. People are giving away oil-blocs like they are giving cake and birthday presents. So much evil and damage has been done over the decades by these evil greedy individuals. The Nigerian military and some civilians VIPs (Vagabonds-In-Power) have bastardized all of Nigeria's oil wealth over the years, aided by their corrupt friends in Agbada and dress. How did all of these past military officers such as Danjuma-the-crook become multi-millionaires on a mere military salary and pension? These are questions which need to be asked and the things that need to be fixed and addressed. Craw Craw dey bite man for yansh but you dey put band-aid on top of am, like say that band-aid go make your craw-craw go away. NO, e no go work.

Something has to change. Many of you guys do not understand what is going on or what has really went down. Take one or two visits to the Niger Delta area and see for yourselves or go and live in that area for some time. Many of you have never lived in the area or never gone there. You hide there in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, Benin, Onitsha, Jos and keep on criticizing other people that live there in the Niger Delta area when you don't know what is really going on and you have never been a direct victim of all the oil corruption and economic and ecological damage. How do you explain all the oil blocs and oil wealth in the billions stolen by thieves such as Danjuma, Abacha, Babangida, Atiku, Obasanjo, Dangote, etc., etc?

YOU SHOULD NEVER CRITICIZE PEOPLE FOR EXERCISING THEIR RIGHT TO GO TO COURT. It is a better option and a more peaceful choice than resorting to violence. And why don't you try to learn the truth first before you start criticizing the people? Nigerians are always praising the thieves and blaming the victim. This is why nothing ever seems to change in Nigeria. Oil is the root of Nigeria's problems. Before oil, Nigeria was a much better country.

EducationRe: How Going To University Was Like In Those Days (photos) by jagbajantus: 11:26pm On Jun 11, 2016
It is not even close. Though you have internet and social media today and you think that defines everything but you can't be more wrong.
Universities were far better, had more regard and carried more respect in the old days. Students worked harder and the value was better.
No short cuts to your degree. You had to work for it and you cannot "sleep" on your back for the degree. No strikes! No cults on campus!
Nigeria did not have the level of corruption that it has today. Even WAEC and High School had greater value than today's secondary schools.
Don't even try to compare. University students cannot even spell or write correctly nowadays. It's a shame.
Today, there is more emphasis on entertainment and vanity than truth and principle. Nigerians are morally bankrupt. All they think about is money. They will kill for it. They worship the entertainers. They put them on a pedestal and kiss their asses. What new things have Nigerian entertainers contributed to the progress or development of the country? Other than music and videos and making their money, what else have they built or developed for the country? Who have they cured of any disease? Nigerians are a bunch of ass-kissers, money-worshipers and hero-worshipers. That's why many worship bank robbers, embezzlers, kidnappers and 419'ers who spray stolen cash publicly.
The country had a higher moral compass in the olden days. Now we only copy and copy and copy everything foreign - all the good with the bad.
Nigerians need to start looking back at themselves and create their own standard - not just always copy oyibo man blindly like we do now.
Those who do not remember their past will always live to repeat and regret the mistakes of their past. Don't get me started. You did already.

Oya, just keep on praying now and don't ever go and work, and don't go to the farm or bush, and never even go to the market.
Just keep on praying my brother and food will just miraculously appear on your table everyday and feed you and your family.

No be somebody go grow that food wey you go chop today? No be money you go take buy am? And no be somebody go cook the food?
Is your rent paid by prayers alone or by a miracle? Do you pay your landlord with prayers? And he will not drive you comot for im house?
Abeg go sidon. Just keep on praying only and don't go to work. Don't go make any money. Just sit in one corner of your house and pray all day.
Everything will just fall to you from heaven. Just pray and do nothing else. And all your problems will be solved.

That is why these crooked and foolish governors fool so many Nigerians all the time. An idiot leading thousands of other idiots.
Why don't these governors donate every kobo of their own salaries to the poor Nigerians? Why don't they refuse their own pay and benefits?
It is only then that I will take them seriously. Like I said before, I never said there was anything wrong with praying. People can't eat prayers.
I only said that your prayer is between you and your God or your Allah or your Orisha. I never said that I was against prayers.
I said that prayers alone, without any work or action is a waste of precious time. And I stand by that. Prove me wrong if you can.
You can talk all you want but you go and get your own money and buy your food and pay your rent. Do you eat your prayers? No.
A man or woman who is hungry needs food. NOT your prayers! A person who is thirsty or has no shelter or clothes needs immediate help.
PoliticsRe: Governor Ortom Rolls On The Floor, Prays, Begs God For Forgiveness by jagbajantus: 12:18pm On May 31, 2016
This is more proof of the gullibility and stupidity of Nigerians. Pictures of various governors praying and fasting. And what are we supposed to do with that? Who elected these fools into office. Nothing wrong with praying but it's a personal thing. Prayers cannot pay the workers salaries.
So all these governors rolling on the floor and praying will just miraculously pay the workers' salaries and solve all the problems of the state?
What an insult? The rest of the world is laughing. If Nigerians wanted prayer warriors, they would have elected pastors and imams into office.

All these public praying and genuflecting while these governors are busy stealing all the money from the public coffers and robbing us all dry?
Let me tell you something. The bible says praying without action is useless! This is the root of Nigeria's problems - FAITH WITHOUT ANY ACTION.

Nigeria has thousands of churches and mosques. There is one in every corner. What good has that done for the country?
One million churches and mosques and synagogues CANNOT and WILL NOT fix any problems in the country. Only people can do so! Idiots!
Nigerians are always asking God to fix everything for them. HEAVEN HELPS ONLY THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES.
God is tired of listening to these type of fraudsters and fake prayers and has to take care of other countries where people are more serious.

Just like the late singing Reggae Prophet Robert Nesta Marley I once sang in his song - AMBUSH IN THE NIGHT you have all these thieves, that possess and who claim to illegally "own" all these Nigerian oil blocs, in the Niger Delta Areas. These "fat cats" and their relatives, their girlfriends, and even their mistresses and descendants of these thieves, are simply "reaping were they did not even sow" and they have been lording over millions and even billions of potential future Nigerian money, money that really does NOT belong to them, and should NEVER have belonged to them, in the first place. So how can there be peace, when these common rogues and thieving pirates are pillaging and robbing the temple dry, not only at night but even in broad daylight?

Listen to The Great Bob Marley
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wf37I8MP6kg

So is anyone here really surprised that there will be WAR? When robbers from out of town are fornicating and desecrating the temple while the local people are languishing and suffering in abject poverty? THERE WILL BE WAR!

How do you explain a corrupt country and a bastardized system where billions of dollars of oil money are simply "given" and "dashed" to certain individuals who really should NEVER have had any rights to these oil blocs and oil wells (that belong to the people of Nigeria and Delta people) in the first place? What a travesty of justice? And you wonder why the country is the way that it is today?

Every single one of these Nigerian Oil Blocs that were "dashed" or "gifted" to all these crooks and their relatives, should be "captured" back by the Nigerian Government. Every single one of them should be seized!

These are all Nigerian property. Oil Blocs should NEVER belong to individual thieves and robbers while average Nigerians are suffering and dying in poverty. Babangida, Danjuma, Lukman, Obasanjo, Atiku, Uba, Adenuga, Bayero, Etete, etc, and all these other fat cat thieves should be on trial! They all got these oil blocs for free or for very very cheap! How can anyone here even support these oil bloc thieves? Shame on you.

Ibadan is actually not a bad city. A very roomy city and spacious. Unlike Lagos, which is damn too congested, too crowded and too small.
The only thing it lacks is that it does not have much in the way of natural bodies of water such as rivers and lakes, etc., because it is inland.
The city boasts the very first University in Nigeria - University of Ibadan (UI) and the first University Teaching Hospital - University College Hospital (UCH).

How does a judge even allow this man to post bail and get out of jail? How is he even released from jail? The alleged crime is very egregious - raping a handicapped "deaf" and speechless woman, who cannot talk or shout. This man is a predator who went all the way to a Deaf & Dumb school to search for a vulnerable victim. Obviously, either this man is from a very wealthy family in Osun state or he has some big connections or has some huge resources? His lawyer clearly has a very famous Nigerian name (Bola Ige). Maybe he is related to the late Bola Ige (the former Attorney-General). Might he be his son? Who knows? That shouldn't matter. It is high time that Nigerians started having very serious discussions regarding the issue of rapes of women in general and in particular, the rape of vulnerable adults of any kind and any raping of children - PERIOD!

https://www.naij.com/817695-shame-you-wont-believe-what-40-yr-old-man-did-to-deaf-and-dumb-lady-inside-a-school.html?utm_campaign=traqli&utm_source=traqli&utm_medium=traqli&source=traqli

These same type of useless Nigerian men who take advantage of a mad woman on the street by having sex with her. Shame on these men.
This is forcible sex - another word for rape. A "mad woman" is clearly a very vulnerable adult person. She has an obvious "mental disability" and therefore she is not capable of having any type of "consensual" sex with anybody. Also, if she gets pregnant and ends up having a baby, that baby is in danger because the mad woman is not even mentally or emotionally capable of nursing or taking care of any such baby and therefore, both herself and the baby will be at very high risk. The mad woman cannot even take care of her own self, talk less of taking care of another person or life. So aside from the crime of rape, this is also a double jeopardy that is created by her rapist and the predator.

Is it just me or didn't you also use to wonder each time that you saw any pregnant "mad" woman walking around on the streets in any town in Nigeria, and the very first thing that you will ask yourself is - Just how did this woman get pregnant? By immaculate conception? What sick man took advantage of this vulnerable woman and slept with her and got her pregnant? Some Naija guys sha. Them go sleep with anything that walks and has breasts and get yansh, and get any kind hole between her legs. They don't care if the woman is filthy or smells or has not had a bath or a shower in several months. And they don't even use any condom. Chai! These shameless type of men and rapists should be locked up and taken off the streets.
