Anyone who has interview date this June?
Let's discuss the process to be sure we are on the right track together.

Work visa or family reunion?

Hello bro.
For duration of stay, just put indefinitely if your contract is unlimited. Yes you can print electronically and sign with a pen.

Thank you!

@timbs001,

Greetings bro, please I have a question, for duration of stay, what will I fill in the application form?

If I fill electronically can I print and sign with a pen?

No bro. It's not compulsory at all. The pre-approval only makes the process faster in terms of appointment date and Visa issuance. Also you family can accompany you at the same time.

Thanks. This was getting me scared..

Na to cross mind after appointment day be that

If you have pre-approval, book two appointments under skilled immigration act for you and your wife. You should be able to travel together at the same time with your wife. Booking under the skilled immigration act would still get you your blue card visa since you are qualified. Good luck.

Do I need pre approval if I qualify for blue card?

Hello, Good Peope,
Thank you for your contribution to this thread so far.
As anyone recently applied for the blue card with a job offer in tech(Fullstack software engineer)? but without a University degree in Physical science?
The salary is about 70k PA. I have my first degree in Microbiology, but I'm not sure if this qualifies for a blue card application and approval.
I would really appreciate any feedback or information. Thank you

Did you do a verification of your degree certificate?

Hello bro.
I'm sorry, I don't have the links handy right now but if you go through this thread, you will find the appointment booking link and also the link to the VISA application forms.
Time for an appointment varies and it's not constant. However, you should be able to get an appointment within a month of booking and a response within a month also, it could be earlier or later.
.
Thanks , booked my appointment Friday evening. Awaiting a date now

If you don't want her to wait for a year. I would advise you get married and also try to get your employer to help you get the documents for pre-approval (under the skilled immigration act) that way you can book an appointment for her at the same time as yours. Some recent changes to the EU blue card even allows family reunification at the same time as the blue card applicant but I am not sure if the changes are in place yet. You can read more here https://se-legal.de/proposed-new-eu-blue-card-rules-2021/?lang=en#:~:text=New%20EU%20Blue%20Card%20Rules%20%E2%80%93%20In%20Detail&text=Flexible%20requirements%3A%20To%20make%20it,be%20reduced%20to%206%20months.

Bro Good evening

I meet the requirements for blue card and I'm about to book an appointment.

Please my question is as follows. Where can I get the visa application form and other documents for the application.

How long does it take to get an appointment, and how long does it take to get a response after the appointment?

The guy recording the boys planned with the boys to be dancing as security so the video will get viral. They both know they will be sacked. Then trust sympathetic Nigerians, start pitying them for nothing. Good for their change in fortune.
But mark my words, those boys will never take that education seriously. A pure waste.

Even if the garbage you said is true are you sad on Thier behalf? Must be witchcraft

If you are still working your job offer letter or introduction letter from your employer.

Me I had resigned so I showed them my resignation letter.

Dear Temi,

Thanks for your help on this thread.

I just got a job offer that qualifies me for the blue card in Germany. So now I am begining my process from scratch.

Someone working there, that I spoke to told me that first I need to do a process they call recognition of Qualifications before I apply for Visa/Blue Card. (https://www.anerkennung-in-deutschland.de/en/interest/finder/notice?profession=74)

Please is this neccesary, and please and please, can you also highlight the steps I need to take from this point of just getting an offer letter?

Thanks alot

Cambridge is a 1-hour train ride from London. Data shows Cambridge as affordable, but not cheap. It's a real city, and has a substantial black population.

Data shows Munich as slightly more expensive, but not that different. I don't know about surrounding areas.

I think it's going to take some pretty strong advantages to pass on Cambridge (job role, salary, benefits, etc). You can access and do just about anything in Cambridge. The UK has their own racial issues, but Germany is worse. And frankly Germany is an ugly country with a boring culture.

Well both roles pay just the same ... How about interacting with other EU countries. Don't you think Germany holds that advantage?

If you're looking for where you'll get your permanent residence and citizenship faster choose germany.

With a blue card (work visa) you'll get your PR in 21 months (2yrs approx) if you can speak german to B1 level
33 months (3yrs approx) if you can speak Atleast A1 (basic level)

With recent coalition government pronouncement, you can now get citizenship in 3 yrs if you can speak german sufficiently (B2 and above) and completed an integration course.

For UK, you'll have to spend 5 years on a work visa (tier 2) before you can get your ILR (Permanent Residence).. Till you can apply for citizenship 12 months after. That's like 6yrs total. And there's no fast track or alternatives.

If you spend that period in germany, you'll get your citizenship in less or 5yrs.

So for easy path to STATUS choose germany. Just language barrier may be an issue. But more than half of Germans speak English so no need to worry.

But for easy settlement, and integration, choose UK. Since there's no language barrier, integration would be easy. Just that status (PR and Citizenship) could take longer.

Also germany is cheaper to live in than the UK. Although taxes in UK is lower than taxes in Germany.

Thanks for this. I also spoke with a dude in France and he says transversing EU is simpler when in Germany. I believe living in Germany will afford me opportunities in all Europe.

If you don't speak German or have an interest in the German language and culture, go to the UK, it'd be easier for you to blend in, plus there are more Nigerians there...

Germans are nice people, but they could be a bit conservative. I speak German and even I would probably chose to work in the UK above Germany if faced with both options... Either ways, pray about it.

I wish you good luck.

Thank you! Everyone is in the UK nowadays, I really love a German adventure, at least something different from the norm. Yeah UK will be easier to blend in...

Hi Travel gurus.

I require the input of folks who have a fair knowledge or experience of both countries.
.I've just gotten job offers with relocation possibility from firms in both countries.

I'm contemplating. Both are the around the same salary per annum, so money is out of it.

Which country will offer me Citizenship more easily?

Cost of living? Between Cambridge UK and Munich Germany?

Pls help help

Looks like I knew the trouble ahead when I asked this question

https://www.nairaland.com/6521167/christians-celibate-relationships-mirage-possibility

I was celibate for the first six months of the year and I actually grew my spirituality to enviable heights, got blessed with a better job in a top firm and I fell a bit on the first week of July but I kept on with my spiritual life.

Fast forward after giving testimony at a local interdenominational fellowship I attend, the pastor's wife introduced me to a Lady with the sole aim of helping her secure a job in the firm's I worked previously.

Well I helped the lady do her CV and she got a job soon after for a start, and she began visiting frequently.

I liked her mostly because we shared a Common religious background although I noticed she's not so keen on the spiritual.

Well I kept it formal for the first two months and one day we kissed, and since then we've been exploring since, (note that I've not been keen on a relationship for this particular reason, despite being born again , I don't expose my self to ladies cos I know what will be the aftermath, thoughts like this made me out up the thread above)

Now we're officially dating but then.... My spiritual life has completely nosedived , and slowly we re engaging in sex too. I have prayed lots of times for God's guidance but she seems to involved in my life now and we can't seem to stop the romance.

I am notentirely sure about the future of our relationship, I like the fact that she's is a teachable woman , but I'm miles ahead of her in all aspects , I seem to have Mader her life better in three months but I enjoy her company and she's mostly around me when she's off duty cos I workfrom home.

I am completely at a loss now on how to get my spiritual life back, once she's gone , I seem to get some renaissance, but once she's around me we get down most times. Is it too late to enforce God's will into this relationship

Have you ever been in my position, pls advise

This means there is a communication gap between the indoor and outdoor unit.
Check to see if any cable is loosely connected.
