I don't agree with you please! If nnpc should carry on with age limit and eventually conclude the recruitment with age limit and people already start working, how will the judgement hold if nnpc is found guilty? Do nnpc now issue sack letters again? See, the applicants prayer is that nnpc shouldn't employ anyone under that age criteria, so how can court now say they should carry on with the same age criteria in question? But all I know is that nnpc may still be doing other internal processes and get things ready such that immediately the case is concluded in their favour,they start to send APL...

When you maintain a status quo it means activities are to remain the way they are until proceeding is carried out.
'Remain the way they are' in this context means it should carry on with the age limit put on it until the court says the age limit should not have been set. Then it can be suspended until further processings and eventually cancelled.

There is nothing to argue about. Maintaining status quo in this context means nnpc can never issue APL to any applicant to commence the job even if they are already done with all processes. They have to wait till courts determination on the case is concluded. The fact is the recruitment is active and this may even be one of the delay for the issuance of APL all along. There is no case in the matter, because all age grades has their own cadre in the recruitment,moreover almost all other government agencies use age limits as criteria as well...To me, its a good news, because APL drops immediately after this case...cheers!

Good evening to y'all. Here is my first comment on this thread. I wholly support this twitter awareness idea but it must be backed with a relevant hashtag and we must tag relevant and influential people. I will suggest the hashtah #nnpcrecruitment2019 after every tweet and mentions. People to be tagged include but not limited to @nnpcgroup @MBuhari @BashirAhmaad @MKKyari @Omojuwa @adeyanjudeji @realFFK @toluogunesi and the handles of media organizations most importantly @channelstv and @NTANewsNow.

Some of these handles are for opposition members and some are for Buhari people. We should know how we are gonna tweet reasonably. The most important thing is the hashtag. We should agree and make a unifying hashtag. Twitter will help alot and we can proudly initiate this task from Nairalanders. We may not know anybody but our unifying voices must be heard. In times like this, Silence is not Golden.

Irrespective of the fact that i need this job badly, i wont let sentiments cloud my thinking. Even multinational Oil companies take longer time to come through, am not sure ExxonMobil has issued out APL to GTs many months after interview and exams.

He is childish and @ Iyajelili is right for saying that.Please how did he know that he is most qualified and he read a course people has not read in Nigeria? He has MBA and so what? I hold MBA too and I'm a chaterred banker and chattered insurance professional ,I'm also a member of NIM and I applied for a supervisory role too. Besides I am currently a country director for the Nigeria operations of an oil servicing firm which is HQrd in Germany. So what else can you say about this. Pls that guy should keep quite!

I sent them a mail earlier today and all I could got was auto response telling me that someone from HR will attend to my enquiry soon.I also attempt to call all lines I have,but non was responding. Please let's start engaging them on all platforms and see if it will be productive. Because constructive enquiry about something you are part of can never be a crime...

I’m the one that mentioned 30 and that’s just for Nairaland. There are people out of this sample space.

Then if we have up to 30 persons that are non alerted across all dates of interview, then the value for which that can be a 10% is 300, and you just mentioned 150, so 30 persons not alerted is still significant and when compared to the total population,it may seem to be the 10-14% of the 9000 candidates needed for the job.

Else alert should continue in earnest today so that we can be sure that the supposed relationship between alert and APL is finally dead

You are turning issues upside down, its true that he doesn't owe anyone any information. But its also not right to toil with our emotions. Silent is the best in a matter of this nature,in as much one can't buttress his/er point with a genuine proof.

.. I travelled for an emergency and I've been extremely busy. I won't come online unless I have an update again. APL is coming this week TF payments are being sent out very quickly. So hopefully they finish today or latest tomorrow. So we can smile fast.
