Outstanding display lastnight I was actually expecting shaktar to cause an upset as they have travelled well this season complimented by their impeccable home form btw yaya kasua in advance for the man city game there's a rumour circulating that Tevez isn't in a generous mood, is that true ![]() |
Is Xavi back for tonight's game. . .I need barca to win by atleast a 2 goal margin oo |
What happened to anelka. His overall contribution and game play has dwindled significantly . . . .completing a simple five yard pass has become a weekly struggle for him. DD isn't far behind anelka in terms of lacklustre ball retention neither, leaving kalou as the only player capable of bringing composure and stability to our attack as malouda too don dey mess up in that regard. . solution drop anelka to the bench and play malouda/zhirhov-DD-kalou upfront. |
Bros HOW MARKET, seta dada, saje wogba ![]() |
debosky:GBAM, Tell that to HNIC and dudu |
HNIC:Can you spot the link between the bolded part. . . when Ruud and Ronaldo left Rooney took over, when Rooney leaves, Berba/chicharito or a new quality striker will take over. kappish There's two option here available to fergie. . .1- buy another quality striker to replace Rooney, . .this wouldn't hurt the club financially as he's valued at astronomical figures and the club can easily buy atleast a world class striker with his transfer fee 2- Stick to Berba/Chicarito, moreover Fergie didn't spend a dime when Ruud left the club, he trusted Rooney/saha to ensure his departure wouldn't be significant and fergie is a genius at motivating players to get the best out of them. . .it's also worth stressing that berba is a quality striker and appears to be back to his best and chicarito has shown/is showing highly encouraging signs. Whichever option he chooses, the club will cope well without Rooney |
duduspace:Was the team was built around Ronaldo before he left for madrid. YES OR NO If yes is the answer to that question then Man utd should have gone down the same path as Liverpool already.NO ![]() Fergie entrusted Ronaldo's responsibilities on Rooney and that has been the theme over the years. . . when a key player parts with the club, he's sufficiently replaced and services are restored to normal, so what gives you the impression that there will be a deviation from this systematic approach ![]() Like TKB said, no player is indispensable. . especially if the manager has a well documented record of having solutions for seemingly difficult situations |
duduspace:OK, for the upteenth time, I'm a chelsea fan ![]() While their achievement may have suffered due to losing those two influential players, one thing that's not disputable is that the team proved many pundit's prediction wrong and exceeded most people's expectation. NO . . . given the resources they had to work with last season, I dare say Fergie andthe team did a magnificent job. |
OMO IBO:Fergie's demeanour holds no water whatsoever. . .Is he suppose to rejoice over the prospect of losing one of the club's most committed and industrious player . . . .the least he could do is show appreciation for Rooney's immense contributions to the club over the years, therefore his demeanour is not abnormal and doesn't imply that he (fergie) will struggle in his indefinite absence People said the exact same thing when Ronaldo and Tevez left the club and we all know how the team responded |
duduspace:Are you high on debosky's urine ![]() rephrase that paragraph sharp sharp from you to they ![]() |
If the departure of notable names such as Beckham, Ruud, Ronaldo, Roy Keane didn't spell doom for man utd in the past why would the outcome be any different in Rooney's case, . .Fergie knows how to neutralise any potential negative impact a key player's loss might have on his team. Utd will do just fine without him. |
Gomiss coped an hatrick |
Basically we cannot win a match without Drogba, na wao |
chic2pimp:Soccerpunch. . . talk about kicking a man when he's down ![]() |
hahaha. so much for a title contender ![]() |
Andre Uweh:Josh style of play suggests he should be capable of playing as a wide forward. . . .he seems versatile and based on their performances so far it's easy to see who deserves a starting shirt more. . . I'm still happy for kakuta though and hopefully he will show the world glimpses of histalent tomorrow |
edoyad:On the evidence on ground, I have to say your statement reeks of irony. . . . since you returned from exile, you have been married to dk and the bayern thread you lot even extended your shameless act/love making session to the arses thread . .judging from this trend, we can deduce that edoyad is madly in love with dk. what GOD has joined together let no man put assunder. . epe fun ara yin o ![]() |
debosky:Is it news that debosky specialises in sniffing mamagee's bra and also has the tendency to chat gebberish on weekdays ![]() |
nateevs:Is this an indication that Sturridge is becoming unpopular with Carlotti. . . he use to be his favourite kid. I Like |
You two should just get a room Jeez. . . . shame no dey catch una with the constant public display of affection |
I expect a Chelsea victory as Villa haven't been at their best this season Josh should be getting a starting shirt ahead of kakuta IMHO but it's all well and good. . . atleast carlotti has disappointed his critics by showing faith in our young lads |
What's up with signing a toddler . . . . I'm not sure about this one |
It requires no special powers to accurately predict arsenal's fate this season |
RuuDie:Gbam. spot on |
Fergie finally has the balls to make team selection based on merit. . . I hope other coaches follow suit My theory is very simple. . . .bench any player with a long streak of bad performances either by a player's standard or on generally accountability for bad performances should apply to every player IMHO, especially when the streak stretches far too long |
HNIC:I'm still at crossroads over the worst aspect about the guinea - match. . . . the horrendous picture quality or the unforgivable performance ![]() Fifa didn't do Nigerian fans any favour by lifting the ban walahi |
FBS:I feel you but the way some people go on about internationals can easily convince someone that it's the greatest punishment ever bestowed on mankind ![]() Belgium-austria match was a magnificent game from a neutral standpoint but a disaster for Belgian fans . . . . how do you concede a goal with less than 40 sec on the clock to a numerically disadvantaged team the Belgian defenders should be beheaded and used as a sacrificial lamb to ogun |
^^^^ When did nationality and role model attributes become a yardstick for measuring a player's brilliance? If we have to go by that logic then Kanu should probably be on the same level as Ronaldo lima as the former is Nigerian and has influenced/helped many children suffering from heart problem. . . . therefore we must allow patriotism to cloud our judgement ![]() From a strictly objective standpoint: A player should only be judged based on his on-field performances and achievement, period and going by that criteria, Tevez is the superior player here, no contest. Ade shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as him. |
chic2pimp:I disagree Berba is a better passer of the ball and also has better ball control and football intelligence than Ibra IMHO The only thing Ibra has over him is strength and ability to hold up play. Berba's passing ability, superior close control and footie intelligence definitely puts him in a better position to succeed at barca than his Swedish cousin. |
They are not even capable of putting together short and accurate passes to maintain possession and break their opponents defensive barriers I wonder if their problem owes to lack of talent/ability, tactical deficiency or psychological . . . I honestly don't think even a jose mourinho can change the fate of this team. Their problem is that complex and deeply rooted. |
*Hauwa*:Was the extra info really neccessary ![]() |
Image123:what rubbish are you talking about. How will Lukaku's acquisition trigger financial profit? Arsenal has recorded financial profit in the last two years, enough profit that buying a solid GK to correct/improve the teams defensive frailties would not leave the club in a poor financial condition and moreover, fixing your weaknesses will significantly increase the teams chances of winning trophies and achieving better success on the pitch which ultimately translates into financial gain for the club abi no be so |
there's a rumour circulating that Tevez isn't in a generous mood, is that true

and hopefully he will show the world glimpses of his
