A certain Sunkanmi, a part one student of Inter Rel., just lost his life yesterday.

He was staggering, and was then rushed to health centre, where he fainted...and then didnt regain consciousness.

He was rushed to Oauth, and kept struggling. He couldnt be held...& despite being tied hands and legs to the bed, he kept struggling.

He was bleeding internally, blood was coming out from his nose/mouth...and it was sucked out. He kept struggling with an unknown something, saying please and begging for whatever it was.

He finally got tired, couldnt breath and then had oxygen placed on him. The Doctor, checked his pulse and finally, his heart stopped breathing. It was unbelievable...
...he was just begging for something people couldnt see.

Big loss.

Same folks still remains - just re-trained according to how each of the leaders of their new jurisdictions want. Mind you, they won't work for the federal government anymore, they'll work for states and cities and those are the ones paying them. They have rights to request them to be trained to have them work according to their pain-points. At the end, the best performing police units can be differentiated from the terrible ones, and their bosses get the blames.

Splitting NPF is what I'm suggesting. The current structure isn't working. Even in the US, there is no such thing as a central police unit - cities and states have their individual police. Intelligence teams like FBI, CIA, SWAT etc are there for grave crimes and can work cross-borders.

Giving each individual unit their individual freedom to hire/fire, operate etc without requesting approvals from some central person like the IG is the model in the US. They are funded by the respective cities and states they work for, not by the federal government.

This insecurity issue don dey too much for one national police force to handle. Shouldn't we be like other nations that have regional police forces? Some cities have their individual police units in some nations, would that work in Nigeria?

Its FCMB not FinBank... I called the 767 RRS num 5mins into the robbery,they confirmed they were aware. The robbery lasted almost an hour and the police didn't show up untill 30mins after d incident. #SMH
