Women of any age can become single parents at any time either through teenage pregnancy, divorce, separation, death of a spouse or by choice. Parenting is not such an easy task and it could be more challenging when you are a single parent. For some being a single mom is not such a big deal but for some others it is, especially when you are a celebrity, constantly in the limelight and have to deal with maintaining a stable family and pursuing your career. The federal government on Tuesday said the negotiations with the Islamist sect, Boko Haram, on the ceasefire agreement and the release of the abducted Chibok girls was not deadlocked as is being insinuated in some quarters. Nigeria's Senate president, Senator David Mark, Monday wept as he accepted the 2015 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination form from his Benue South senatorial constituents to return to the Senate next year for a record 5th time having being in the red chamber since 1999. This makes him one of the longest serving senators in Nigeria.
