Politics › Re: PDP Convention 2017: Delegates Chase Out Senator Buruji Kashamu by jamesibor: 5:11pm On Dec 09, 2017 |
exlinkleads: The ongoing PDP Convention "Elective National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP " experienced a mild drama when Senator Buruji Kashamu, Ogun East was chased out of the Stand of his state.
Senator Kashamu who was dressed in white kaftan, shinning blue shoes and dark glass to match who arrived at the Ogun state Stand, was welcomed with shouts of go away and to respect himself, he left with his supporters.
To find refuge, the Senator went to the next stand which is Ondo, but the delegates there also drove him away. Senator Buruji Kashamu finally got accommodated by the Osun State delegates where he sat in between the former National Secretary of PDP, Professor Wale Oladipo and Senator Felix Ogunwale.
Earlier in the day, there was a similar scenario at the Ekiti Stand when delegates shouted at another delegate who was already sited to stand up and leave the stand.
The Ekiti delegates who are apparently loyal to the governor, Ayodele Fayose went to a serving member, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Honourable Oni Olamide, Ijero/ Ekin / Efon constituency who was already seated, tried to drag him out, but he resisted it.

Politics › Re: Yorubas Finally Concede That Kano Is Most Populous State And NOT Lagos! by jamesibor: 8:08pm On Dec 07, 2017 |
ShinnBet: The controversy that trailed the highly disputed and controversial 2005 National Censors breakdown has finally been put to rest with the Yorubas finally conceding to the fact that indeed, Kano is more populous than Lagos.
You may ask when and where did the Yorubas unanimously concede Lagos top population spot to Kano where it is well documented that the Yorubas have been at the forefront disputing the series of fraud censors first conducted by the British prior to independence and that the last 2005 censors which saw Kano topping as the most populous state was greeted with much condemnation by the Yorubas?
Well, the Yorubas have since agreed that Kano tops Lagos in terms of population back in 2015 where the north put good use of the fraudulent censors figures to rig-in Buhari and the APC into power.
Kano gave Buhari 1.9 million votes in the last election out of a total of 2 million votes counted. Mind you, this turnout figure recorded for Kano in the last presidential election, equates exactly with the total registered voters in that state. So in a nut shell, Kano did not record one single absentee vote nor voided votes! Incredible! That means all registered voters in Kano with INEC have been well and hearty since the return of democracy up to 2015. It seems to live long in Kano, you need a voters card. Also, the fact that no casted vote recorded in Kano was declared void by INEC also points to the fact that Kano voters must be one of the most political savvy and intelligent beings in Nigeria.
The fact that the Yorubas never even batted an eye over this great fraud committed at the polls by the APC all because they wanted their ceremonial stooge Osinbanjo in Aso Rock put rest t the Yoruba claim of Lagos being the MOST populous state!
But that isn't the saddest thing about Yoruba deft silence over the Kano rigging but rather the fact that the same Yorubas defended the results coming out of Kano in their blind desperation to have their Osinbanjo VP (Vulture Presidency).
The most ironical aspect about the Yoruba support for this fraud isn't the fact alone that they were ready to dump the argument on Lagos population superiority but the fact that almost immediately Buhari took over, the same North used the same fraudulent elections to dismiss the Yoruba voter contribution to a Buhari presidency.
In what we can best be described as a show of his popularity, Buhari yesterday, headed to Kano to a massive crowd of his fanatical supporters in that state, echoing his readiness to repeat the same rigging he did in 2015 AGAIN in 2019.
When you support injustice or keep quiet, it will surely come back and haunt you.
Today, the Yorubas have lost their relevance in every aspect of our socio-political sphere and all this points to the great delusion (inspired by hate) that took over them in 2015. The population of Lagos is mainly boosted by the Igbo people. |

TonyeBarcanista: The message that is circulating on WhatsApp and other social medium by loyalist and supporters of a Chairmanship Aspirant alleging that there are plans to prevent supporters of their principal, who are Planning Committee members to the PDP National Convention from gaining access to the Convention ground is false and mischievous and far from the resemblance of truth.
At no time did the Chairman, National Convention Planning Committee, His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa or any leaders of the Planning Committee and Subcommittees conceived, informed or instructed that any member of the Convention Planning Committee be prevented from gaining entrance into the Eagles Square, venue of the planned Convention.
The true position is that ONLY committee members that are actively participating in committee meetings and activities will be accredited to gain entrance into the Convention ground.
This position doesn't target any specific committee member but instead encouraged all members to join hands so as to work for the success of the National Convention.

Obi of Onitsha literally disrespected the office of president, when he came calling in Anambra State last month...some people justified it and claimed An emir is not expected to leave his palace for a visiting president, then why should an Obi do that..
Anyway this picture says otherwise... If the almajiri chooses to do so, that's his cuppa tea. We stand with our Igwe. |

EMPEROR48: My fellow nairalanders, or my good brothers and sisters I thank you all for your comment and good advice well to those who are yet to marry I will advice you stop making comments on marital issues because some of you are yet to format your brains on family life. Those who were spilling rubish by the time u ever get married you will know what life is all about. Those who said I shouldn't lay a finger on my wife may you always have great joy in all ur endeavours, those who thought my wife was cheating on me, well I didn't marry such a woman because were she came from, once you cheat its either she dies or I the man will fall sick if I ever eat her food. So creating was never an option, I was so much angry because at least she shouldn't have encode what I know about already, my anger is why would she ever do such a thing, what is she trying to portray? Now to the main thing that happened on Sunday of 3rd December. I woke up in the morning around 5am I didn't even know how I managed to sleep but I saw myself in the morning on Sunday so I dash to the bathroom did the usual routine and ate a little akpo also known as 6to6, got dressed and off I go .... straight to the hospital to see my wife sick sister who was admitted the previous day and also my wife who was at her bed side although. When I got to the ward they place her, my wife greeted me and I answer her with a frowned face. Then she was like what s going on we were happy the previous day so whats this change of expression? So we were there till about 2pm when suddenly her sister demanded for lucozade boost then both of us went out to get it then I said this is my chance to confront her, suddenly she glanced at my finger and discovered I was not putting on my wedding ring, then she gave me the best opportunity to send my missile by askin me were is ur ring? Dude, this post is incomplete. |

MayorofLagos: You should. There are politicians in Nigeria, and there are political godfathers in Nigeria.
Atiku is not a political godfather....he is not even a politician.....he is a political failure!
Atiku needs a politician to sponsor him. Then his political sponsor needs a godfather to endorse him.
Can you get it? You see how far he has to go?
Look, follow me so you can learn a thing or two about real politicking in Nigeria. How does this relate to my post? |
Politics › Re: The Only Way Atiku Would Make Headway Is To Choose A VP From SW/SS by jamesibor: 12:17am On Dec 04, 2017 |
Alcatraz005: Atiku irrespective of the corruption allegations hanging on his neck is a good candidate any day anytime who can give Buhari a run for his money already but he has a new problem:the igbos have already hijacked his campaign and seek to be made VP. With this problem, Atiku is already seen as an anathema in the SW, a very important voting block in Nigeria. The Hausas would also have an aversion to him seeing that the groundswell of his support is from the east.
The solution now is for Atiku to choose a VP candidate from either the SS/SW. I would urge he chooses his candidate from the SS as Yoruba already have the VP spot with osibanjo and it might not look well if another Yoruba man is chosen as his VP candidate. However, if Atiku chooses Fayose as his VP, Buhari would have a lot of problems as Fayose is Christian and more radical than the Pastor we have there now. The Atiku campaign with Fayose on the ticket can also play on the religious bias of the Buhari Presidency. That would give the campaign more gravitas and bite.
Conversely, if Atiku wants to end his political career in disgrace and lose very surely and easily to Buhari, he can choose an Igbo VP and incur the wrath of millions of Nigerians.
This is my own analysis of the Atiku conundrum in 2019.
NB: I have not addressed the problem posed by Obasanjo so I can be excused on that score. Once again let me repeat, the Igbo people do not give a rat ass who the president or vp is as long as attached pics remain the norm
