Northerners Begin Diversion of Food Items to Niger and Cameroon.
▪︎Earlier demanded N450Billion as compensation for their loss.

Foodstuff and cattle dealers across the Northern part of the country have started diverting their goods and all consumables to the neigbouring countries of Niger Republic and Cameroon.
They have also begun blocking trade routes to the South by stopping food item-laden trucks from going south.

Truckloads of food items from the northern part of the country were on Friday stopped by northerners from entering Kwara State and neighbouring states in the South West.

That is good, the south should wake up let the southwest block all the trailers that transporting goods from the Lagos ports to the North while the southeast and south south block the trailers with oil and gas and if they continued then the south should withdraw their human resources in the north.

NEWSREPORT:
Governor Hope Uzodimma is set to demolish estates built and own by former governor Okorocha. The said estate was said to have been built on water channels in Owerri Imo state. Imo state government panel in their wisdom recommended total demolition of the estate to save the water channels and environment.

Well, just like many projects of Okorocha, environment impact assessment was never considered. He jumps into any project without first thinking about EIA. That may equally be the reason most of the projects he built are either substandard or unusable, a good example is Owerri tunnel which was recently demolished by Gov Uzodimma and the flyover bridge which has remained unused till date due to poor quality project delivery.

Why demolish a project of this magnitude, politics of bitterness is a hindrance to the development of our beloved state. Let say they are 100% correct on their assessment, why not take another route to salvage the situation. If not for politics and playing to the gallery by our so-called elected leaders, demolition would have not been in the vocabulary, Panama canal was an engineering marvel we are here playing politics with the Owerri water channel my people please give a break. The problem little engineering can easily solve is what our supreme court governor is playing politics with. The government has possession of the property why not bring in engines and plain a big underground drainage system remove two/three builds and sell the estate to individuals and use the money for the construction of the drainage, it is like using one stone to kill two birds. That estate is well-built people will pay a premium price for it, thinking outside the box and solving problems is what leaders need instead of all the vindictive tendencies that are taking us one foot forward and ten steps backward.

This spells trouble especially for Northerners. Maize is a major food in d North. Eaten as "tuwon masara". It use to be the cheapest food for d common man. Now it's competing in price with beans.

Poultry feed that's already N5300-5500 will shoot up to N7000.
A major cause of this is security. A friend's neighbor planted maize last year lost his yield overnight as theives went with their truck and harvested it through d night.

Our only hope is in God. Looking upto man is disaster.

When herdsmen are using their cows and disrupting local farmers and our leader keeps mute because they were his people, what are they think will happen?

Today the Imo state Government through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has made a shocking finding and revelation where a warehouse was discovered with millions of naira worth of properties meant for the development of the state.

Conducting the media men round the warehouse, the Hon. Commissioner for Commerce and Industry Comr. Simon Ebegbulem revealed that it is unfortunate that anybody or group of persons can decide to rob the people of their common wealth all for their selfish interest and for personal aggrandizement.

The shocking discovery was made following the directive of the governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma who in the past has revealed the many atrocities of the Rochas Okorocha’s administration of which this is one of it and his firm resolve to ensure that all government looted properties are recovered. It is evident that the shared prosperity government and its 3R mantra initiative is very much focused on getting the state to work again by recovering all that has been stolen by crude politicians.

The warehouse which is located at Aba/Owerri road is loaded with solar panels and its components, traffic lights, inverters,street lights, decorative trees, heavy machinery, mixers, sewing machines. Fresh tracks of trailer tyres were seen on the spot which shows that some items have been moved from the warehouse already.

By this singular act of the state government, it has read the riot act to looters and those in possession of government properties illegally to return it now or risk prosecution.

One thing I want my people to know I'm not here to defend our politicians, but my observation and see if I will get answers. In one of the pictures, the roof of the warehouse was damaged and if you look closely there are watermarks on the wall that shows that the damaged roof is not new so my questions are why were the goods parked directly under the damaged roof not damaged by water? Is this a staged publicity stunt?

BREAKING!!! Tension As Gunmen Storm Police Station In Ebonyi, 3 Killed, Others Injured!

There is currently tension in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital after suspected gunmen killed three police officers while 2 others were injured in Ezza South LGA of the state.

IGBERE TV gathered that the the slain officers identified as Inspector Danzumi Jimba, Inspector chilaka Anthony and Corporal Juliana Ugwu-Anyim were killed on Friday, 8 January.

An eyewitness who spoke with IGBERE TV said the policemen were attacked by suspected hoodlums who invaded the police station at about 8:45pm on Friday night.

Investigations revealed that the slain officers were two inspectors and one female who was relaxing in her room when the hoodlums struck.

It was also gathered that the attackers took away three AK 47 rifles kept at the station.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs. Loveth Oda, who confirmed the incident explained that corpses of the slain officers had been deposited in a mortuary while the two who sustained bullet wounds were receiving treatment.

However, the Commissioner for Internal Security in the State, Mr. Stanley Okoroemegha, said government was saddened by the incident and had given security agencies forty-eight hours to brief the government on how such breach occurred without any intelligence to forestall it.

Every time I hear the stupid argument about millions of Igbo's in the north and so what they are Nigerians likewise the Hausa or Fulani any citizen have the right to live in any part of the country but there are laws. Yes, the Igbo in the north doesn't occupy someone's land they rent their houses, stores, and the ones who own their houses bought the lands with the hard-earned money they pay their taxes it was not free. No citizen has the right to occupy someone else land because he/she rear cows, it is a private business and as such should be done accordingly. If they want to live in the bush, it is okay but they will either buy the land or rent it from the owner and ranch their cows and pay taxes. Just close your eyes for a minute think that some Igbo people forcefully occupied people's land to form parallel communities in the north do you think they will be alive to tell their story.

Please if I may ask, why will any right-thinking person be against ESN? Sorry but (THREATENING TO) is not a crime, No court of contempt jurisdiction will convict anyone for a crime that was not committed. And as for him jumping bail, the Nigerian army put his life in danger by going to his house to assassinate him before the court date which he has mobilized his members in thousands who will follow him to the court so he was looking forward to the 17th, why going to his house when there was no warrant of arrest from any jurisdiction in Nigeria. So I ask you if you are on bail and anyone be it the police, the army, or your friend come to your house to kill you will you stand and watch them kill you because you are on bail?
