tyup:Trying to absolve them with pathetic excuse UGM?? are you alright? they are trained soldiers for goodness sake, why will they shot that many rounds when there was no shot coming from the vehicle? Why didn't they shot at the tires? |
Buckeyemedia1:Ignorance about the constitution is what is worries some of you, there is no were in the Nigerian constitution that prohibits anyone from flying Biafran flag and when there is no law there is no criminality. Again you all should understand that IPOB as an organization is not the owner of the Biafran flag and the federal government of Nigeria has never proscribed the Biafran flag. MASSOB, BIM, and other Secession groups are not proscribed and they all use the same flag. |
[quote author=endsarrrs post=106554064]#Fact ESN/IPOB caused this directly or indirectly, let say the fact and stop beating around the bush. But rather you people will always defend blindly. Continue defending blindly. Igbos and unnecessary defending blindly when it comes to tribe issue. North are religion fanatics, East are tribe fanatics. This is how you people kept defending now till this issue got worse, instead of saying the truth. Igbos are too touchy when it comes to their tribe, they would rather keep defending blindly and attacking you when you say the truth instead of admitting the obvious. But they can spend years finding fault, attacking and criticizing others, but they can't take just one inch of criticism and bashing. If ESN had operated like well disciplined and organised security outfit, it would have been hard for evil people to hijack the situation and commit crime with the name of ESN. But ESN was rather, busy acting like terror group, touts, killing people, burning things, beating people. And now any killing that happens is being pinned on them. -copied[ It is good to be on the side of truth, but being economical with the truth is never a good thing I'm sure you will agree with me. We are where we are as a country today as a result of mismanagement about (EVERYTHING) Now about ESN, It was formed because of the failure of Southeast governors to properly manage the menace of the herders, and they were doing well, never did they go outside their objective, and all their activities were dealing with the herders in the bush until the federal government started their atrocities going inside the bush where they are and started killing them. The Army and the Police took the war to them and they have to defend themselves. I agree with you that evil people have hijacked the situation and I solely blame the situation in the Southeast on the state and Federal government and they have achieved their aim to destabilize the southeast get the evidence they wanted in justifying the proscription of IPOB. |
Tomek09:America, England, and Saudi Arabia are already waiting after NYSC, another brain lost |
cablenews:Healthy man undergoing therapy does that make any sense? |
Noerection:When someone is pointing a finger, three is pointing at him, My people we have to look critically, Are we sure it is not Uche Mafor's faction of IPOB that are causing all the problems in the east just to blame Kanu ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ?? |
blinking001:You are now accusing ESN/IPOB without any evidence whatsoever, why will they assassinate the lawyer that is working for the victims illegally detained by the incompetent Nigerian police or you did not read the article before you start typing nonsense. |
Nonexisting1:It is called the grassroots campaign he is going from ward to ward and it is one of the most effective ways of campaigning. He is taking his campaign to every ward in Anambra state do you know the magnitude of that strategy?. That is what is called thinking out of the box not maintaining the status quo. |
fergie001:That was my alma mater and my hometown. |
richmond500:Sorry to say that you are really ignorant about what is happening, how can you say NK created IPOB after his arrest. You said the government was not against IPOB but NK, why will they arrest him in the first place if there is nothing like IPOB? You said he refused to respect the bail conditions, I ask are we not in a democracy? the case was already in the court of competent jurisdiction, if NK failed to comply with the condition of his bail the law said to go back to the court the judge is the one to revoke the bail, not the Nigeria government and not the Army. The Nigeria government knows they will lose that case that was why they send the Army to his house to disrupted the case, they have no reason whatsoever to go to NK's house other than to kill him in the process they killed 28 persons up till today the Nigeria government and the Army just swept what happened in NK's house under the carpet. They now said he jump bail it is only a tree that will stand the same place when they want to cut it down so I ask you will you stand the same place when someone come to your house to kill you. |
richmond500:People like you are among the ones that are with short momery, I hope once upon a time you remembered that the favorite IPOB weapon of choice was their Biafran flags until the incompetent regime started dancing python dance, you cannot fetch an ant-infested wood without lizard visiting and you cannot continue pushing someone to the wall without expecting a push back. Today the number of IPOB members in jail without trial across Nigeria exceeds the numbers of Boko Haram, criminal herdsmen, and bandits that is if there are any, and what was their crime, they demanded self-determination, marriage is not by force. I will love to be one Nigerian but I want it on the ground that we all decide (HOW) and not by dance, anything short of that Biafra here I come. |
richmond500:There is nothing like a threat, people complied the sit at home because they have lost faith in their government, IPOB is winning the hearts and minds of the Igbos and that is why they are complying and until this incompetent regime make a u-turn and understand the use of dialogue in persuing civil matters and not a threat then things will change. |
richmond500:Owerri, as the capital city of Imo state, has a population of 1.4 million (2016 census) that was 5 years ago. APC in Imo state, Just for the argument sake, let say they are not popular but mind you they are in power, but they can at least boost of 150 thousand members in the whole state but they couldn't mobilize just one or two thousand members to welcome their president and you lots can not in all sincerity find anything wrong? |
kahal29:In the picture, you posted there are about 45 rented people in the picture, the rest are like secret police and state officials. As of 2016, Owerri has a population of 1.402 million that was 5 years ago. Please residents did not line up that was is your dream and please wake up from it. |
wallstreetnews:For how long will our people wake up from their slumber, this is why Nigerian politicians steal, they will spend money buying votes and when they win they will first recuperate their money by putting their hands in the cookie jar after, salaries will not be paid, substandard projects, and abandoned projects. |

Ofodirinwa:Is baffling when people who don't understand the topic of discussion will call someone a liar because if you really understand the topic you will not in any way portrayed your ignorance. |
asha80:Yes, solar is the answer, Are you questioning the use of solar energy in powering elevators? what is your point? Some of you in that primitive country are still in darkness when the world has moved on.
|
asha80:Please it is better you read fully before you respond. |
Digitron:To be honest, it is time our people and our governors start building up all the one, two, and three-bedrooms bungalows are just waste of land we don't have enough and with the way we are going our region will soon run out of agricultural land. 14 ten-story buildings will take care of the 750 units. The next you will hear is there is no electricity to power the lift or water (Solar) but when you build up fewer streets will be constructed, less compensation for the lands, and I believe the amount to be used in constructing 400,500 or 600 foundations for bungalows can take care of 14 blocks of 10 story buildings may be corrected. The picture below is what we need in our region going forward.

RareDiamonds:This is how it surpose to be bravo, but I hope the project will not be abandon. |
anselem87:I, agree with you 100%, we will never be like America but our problems are we lack attention to detail and corruption, Counties like Rwanda, Namibia, and South Africa don't have two heads nor trillions of dollars. |
midolian:It is really a pity that people rejoiced the day your mother laboured to give birth to you. |
flokii:A short memory is a really bad disease, The Goal post has just been moved. |
Elzazzi:Only in Southeast Nigeria that Navel officials go work on the roads instead of waterways |
naptu2:Adaobi, I don't have a problem with your opinion, but you should research well before putting false information you said IPOB lost the legal challenge about the proscription, Adaobi, the case is still in court as the federal government has refused to answer the court. Please don't mislead your readers. |
NEWSREPORT:Honestly, Nigerians and their mentality of mediocrity I wonder if the country can be fixed in this generation. |
MysteryShopper:Nice development |
MysteryShopper:Your mentality is why other tribes question the unity of the Igbos, I urge you to stop all the division we are Igbos. If Obiano got things right it will benefit all of us Igbos and maybe it will motivate Uzodima to do right to Imo airport. My constructive criticism is not envy, My home is Ala Igbo, and my own charity beings from Ala Igbo, Be an Igbo first before an Amambrian it will do all of us better and you have a promising future. |
MysteryShopper:My dream, one day I will board a flight from Chicago O'Hare airport land in Anambra airport drive on a well-built highway with no potholes to my home in Orlu Imo state. My child, think like me and stop being an ass, we are all Igbo. Whatever that is worth doing in Ala Igbo is worth doing well. |
MysteryShopper:Now I have understood you are just a child who is still sucking from your mother's breast if not I don't see the reasoning of who is from Imo and who is from Anambra nonsense. |
MysteryShopper:Yes, the airport is still under construction, but please look well the Lots have no provision for trees or flowers those boxes they covered with cement would have been used for trees and flowers. |
