MysteryShopper: Stop spewing nonsense, this is a project still under construction. Please show us airport parking lot with trees, even Abuja and Lagos international airport parking lots doesn't have trees on them, because it's not an international best practices. You envious people should face your backward Imo state. When you can't find any point to criticize, you would look for something needless to spew nonsense.
I'm not spewing nonsense as you said, but constructive criticism, I am a proud Igbo man, and any infrastructural project that comes to any Igbo land or state will always be a thing of joy to me, Having said that, It is time we all stop the mindset of mediocrity Abuja and Lagos are what they are but I want Anambra to do more better instead of comparing mediocrity. Obiano did well with Anambra Airport no doubt, but are there rooms for improvement? Yes and that was my point. Below are images of what I was trying to point out.
investnow2013: Anambra airport to be commissioned in August 2021!
When will our people understand the importance of planting trees, just look at nice parking lots but no provisions for trees and flowers that will give shade for cars.
vedaxcool: When government does the needful one fool will say they are gagging the press.
Before you want the government to do the needful I want you to first understand what Sahara Reporters published. They said (44 supplementary lists) which means there were 44 names added to the original list. If you will go back to the press statement from Navy number 2, they directed us to visit their website but the problem is that there was no supplementary list. We want to see the original supplementary list.
Is this girl have a lawyer? can they advise her to stop talking, I don't know who is advising her, talking too much can never win any sympathy from the public she is really jeopardizing her case.
IPOB has no access to water does that make sense, an organization or country? the president called all Igbos IPOB and the Southeast a dot, stop defending the indefensible.
MadamExcellency: If IPOB can fund ESN why can Southeast States fund Ebubeagu?
Is like IPOB is more composed than Southeast Governors combined.
Ebubeagu was rejected by the youths and they are having big problems in recruiting personals. So to me, funding Ebubeagu is just a waste of resources and will be another avenue for them to steal money.
rottennaija: Yeah, shey Nnamdi Kanu that if you disagree with him, he attacks you with insult and calls you names? Keep deceiving yourself. But until you go with your 5 SE states, you will never have biafra. The SS has stated clearly they have no interest in your contraption called biafra.
There are indigenous Igbo populations in all the six states that make up the south-south region that want to be in Biafra what will you do with them?? People like you have continued in making the argument about five states Igbos are not just five states
Vaughanlanrewaj: This is the consequence of the failed IPOB terrorists strategy of using blackmail on whoever supports the crushing of the IPOB terrorists who daily kill our patriots, behead them and burn up public infrastructures built with tax payers money.
In their evil mind as IPOB terrorists , the IPOB terrorists think that Nigerians will fall for the blackmail that an attack by our patriots to defend themselves and rein in and defeat the terrorists is an attack on innocent Nigerians of Igbo extraction. As they must have realised now, it is not working.
Our patriots have families too and we can't watch idly as IPOB terrorists kill even Nigerians of Igbo extraction on mere suspicion that they're patriotic to their fatherland.
The Igbo elders made a costly mistake of falling for the blackmail by IPOB and didn't know that the terrorists took that as endorsement of their terrorism.
The elders were even silent when the IPOB terrorists freed prison inmates including very notorious criminals now terrorising the SE and even Lagos now. To that extent, they're culpable and will be held responsible for the consequence of that carelessness. Even when the fugitive terrorist leader escaped, none of them told him to turn himself in and when the IPOB terrorists leader sent his terrorists, in a viral audio, to go burn down Lagos, they didn't do much to specifically condemn and dissociate themselves from the IPOB terrorists.
This is a time they need to do more than solidarity visits because no patriot will trust them and take them serious enough to oversee national interest. Each of the South East states' ministries of orientation and information and their Commissioners of Information should run programs and campaigns on their state and national radio and TV to let parents know that terrorists are now recruiting their children for terrorism and once they are caught and killed, even the parents will be held to account too. They should encourage citizens to report inmates who were set free by the IPOB terrorists and offer bounty to anyone who reports the IPOB terrorists among them like northerners did.
I don't believe it is fair to reject any Nigerian on the account of where he comes from but he is right that the Igbo elders are hands in glove with the IPOB terrorists and this itself is condemnable. This is where northern elders are standing on a moral high ground. The Igbo leaders are seemingly afraid but I know there may still a few courageous ones among them who can speak the truth .
Even if IPOB terrorists register a billion account here on Nairaland and on social media, and even Twitter Nigeria IPOB base deletes millions of patriotic comments against the IPOB terrorists and leave the hate speech and murderous threats by the fugitive terrorists leader of IPOB , they will still lose las las.visit www.freestuffsng.com for latest freestuffs in Nigeria. All the enemies of Nigeria will lose las las. They always lose. God bless Nigeria.
I will like you to click below and watch the video, there are other groups that are in pursuit of the Biafran restoration not only IPOB some Nigerians like you are pointing fingers to IPOB without investigations.
Kwashiman: Honestly the only reason why we lost that war was because the Yorubas and the Middle belt soldiers made it possible, at the initial stage of the war it was a East vs North shoot out and the Biafrans were wiping out the dumb Hausa soldiers along the Northern border of Biafra, we were winning the war until Ojukwu made the fatal mistake of invading the West and getting the Yorubas who were mostly neutral involved, that was the major game changer in that war... but this time the shoot out will be a North vs East affair so we can settle our scores with them once and for all, thankfully the Middle belt who have suffered massively in their hands won't join them this time... I just hope Yorubas maintain a dignified neutrality so we can even the scores with our historical enemies - the North once and for all.
Ojukwu did not make any mistake going west, he went west because it was the seat of power then.
Resurrection212: Even students are receiving lectures in their classroom.
Resurrection212 is really pained that sit at home is a huge success I'm really sorry stop crying. You don't know what to do with your time that you forget that the picture of the students you posted was taken somewhere in the North when did schools in the east cover their heads, you also forget the owerri prison has not been repaired from fire damage.
nsiba: Restrict your referendum to your enclave don't bring it near SS
When you say enclave I'm sure you mean Igbos, all six states in South-South have indigenous Igbos that majorities want to be in Biafra will you deny them their right?
sarrki: video of the incident obtained by the online medium captured the moment that the governor narrowly escaped the attack as security operatives engaged the unknown gunmen in a duel.
As at the time of filing the report, it is unknown if any casualty was recorded from the attack that saw journalists scampering for safety
Why all the fake news this is not in Nigeria look at the plate numbers in the cars.

Idiko1: Please bros do not waste your precious time in teaching few sticks social studies. It said that "Birth a pig, comb a pig, a pig shall remain a pig".
Rossiminku: Please, those in the know, kindly inform us.
Does Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB accept a Biafra which does NOT include the Niger Delta, but rather, just the south eastern states?
Thanks for your kind responses.
Niger Delta, Imo, and Abia states are all Niger Delta, South-South region Ok but understand the six states in that region have indigenous Igbo populations who want to be in Biafra and you are not going to deny them their right. IPOB wants a referendum for people, groups, tribes to determine where they want to belong that is legal, is democratic that is what we called self-determination that is what IPOB wants that is where the answer to your question will come from or don't you agree.
Juliusmalema: Ipobs are in pain. Continue soon Nigeria go give another name and u all will be writhing in pain.
No nige delta but you want them in your biafra..
Hallucinations everywhere.
They want the Niger delta because Imo and Abia states are also Niger delta in the Nigeria context but if you are referring to the South-south region, they are also right in including them in their Biafra because there are percentages of Igbo populations in all the six states of the region they want them because they want to be in Biafra.
Rossiminku: So why are they claiming Niger Delta which is not Igbo?
Look, if Igbos simply seceded with Igboland alone, we would all wave them goodbye and good tidings.
The problem arises when they start wanting to claim the Niger Delta as theirs.
That is what got them into trouble in the 1960s.
And if they try it again this time, they will be crushed.
If you could go and educate yourself you will understand that Igboland is not just the five southeast states and about the word Niger Delta in the Nigeria contest you will also understand that Niger Delta as a region is consist of all the six south-south states, two southeast states and some path of Ondo state just to let you know.
Chimighty007: Igbos Are Not Being Cheated Or Marginalized- Sen. Ndume Says as he Slams Biafra
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Army, who is also representing the Borno South Senatorial District, Senator Ali Ndume has dismissed the agitations by some groups for Nigeria to break up, saying that the country is better as united entity.
The Senator also said that whatever grievances that people have can be solved within the constitutional framework that presently exist and if there is need for reforms it can also be addressed amicably without any recourse to violence or threats.
Speaking in a recent interview with Punch, Ndume noted that the cry of marginalization by the South East was unnecessary because they do not contribute much to country’s wealth.
He noted that 90 percent of Nigeria’s revenue comes from the South-South, yet that region has not been crying about marginalization or about being cheated. He added that the only demand that the South-South is making is for the oil derivation that accrues to them be reviewed upward from 13 percent.
“When you talk about oil, 90 per cent of the resources we depend on to survive in Nigeria is coming from the South-South geopolitical zone, yet the people there are not talking about dividing the country. They are also not worried about who is spending the money realised from oil sales.”
“In the South-East, it is only Abia State that has an oil producing area. So, where did you get that idea that the Igbo are being cheated or marginalized,” he queried adding that only the South-South have a reason to cry about marginalization or being cheated.
The senator was speaking in the context of the claim by some leaders and groups in the South East that the region has been marginalized politically and economically, especially since the end of the civil war.
Some of the evidences of the marginalization according to proponents of the marginalization theory is the refusal of the Federal government to build the second Niger Bridge and the lack of a sea port to allow for free movement of people and goods in and out of the South East. They are also frustrated that no Igbo man has been elected Nigeria’s President.
This sentiment is what gave birth to secession groups like MASSOB and Indigenous People of Biafra who are agitating for an independent state for the Igbos called Biafra. Another ground for their agitations is that the north is liability on the other parts of the country, hence their insistence on a united Nigeria.
But Senator Ndume says such sentiment is unfounded and baseless, adding that the Northern Nigerian is blessed with tremendous amount of natural resources and even large deposits of oil and gas. According to him crude oil has been found in Sokoto, but what is left is for exploration activities to commence.
He also pointed to the presence of oil and gas in Borno, Bauchi as well as the Chad and Gongola basins adding that very soon, some Northern states will be counted as part of the oil producing states. The senator also disclosed that Zamfara has a large deposit of gold.
The Senator who says he feels disgusted by the idea that the north is a liability on Nigeria, opined that while the Southerners freely move up north to get juicy government jobs, the same cannot be said of the northerners who only go to the south to provide services that are needed.

Wow irony of life, How can the parasite want to leave the host and the host is crying honestly I don't understand.
[quote author=topboss post=101524846]I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE DAT WANT WAT I WANT AND DONT WANT TO HEAR ANY BUT.
IF ANAMBRA WANT TO BUILD AN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, THEY SHOULD BUILD IT TO INTERNATIONAL STANDARD.
IS THAT AN UNREASONABLE DEMAND?
How much did you pay in taxes last year? Nigerians said good soup na money, Kill am. Anambra state has built a good airport with what they can afford without putting their own citizens in debt. Anambra state doesn't have the capacity to build the kind of terminal that will meet your standard how much is Anambra state budget? Cook County in Illinois (Chicago) has a population of about 5.1million with a budget of 6.2billion dollars County is an equivalent of a Local government. Anambra state population is about 4.1million that their budget is not even up to half-billion-dollar.
The interior of the train terminal is good no doubt, but the project is not a Lagos state government project, it is a Nigeria project that you and your generations will be paying until the loan is paid to China Exim bank with interest. All the comparisons should stop some people here even want the airport to be the Heathrow airport, others want it to be the new Kotoka in Ghana but they all forget one thing that Anambra airport is just a state airport, not a country built airport. There are other things that make a good airport, not just the terminal building even Ghana Kotoka has a 3.4 km runway. Anambra has 3.7
mekaboy: Its not by question. Yorubas to Ghana buy fabrics and sell and return. Igbos have shops in the markets.
Forget the name mokola market. When you enter the market you will understand. All those shops they lock are owned by igbos. Yorubas hardly have shops there. They come and buy and go.
Go to circle GSM market. Go to kaneshi market, go to opera. You will see 1000 igbo shops before you will see a yoruba.
Same goes to togo. From Asie market to Asigami market. Even togolese learn igbo because of the market.
Please I ask the question, Is it now bad to own a business? Those markets were not built by the Igbos but now they own the majority of the shops according to you, so either they bought the shops or they rented them they are not there for free, what that tells you about the people (Igbos) Ghanaian government did not give them a dime. I honestly don't know when working hard started to become a crime. The markets were there before the Igbos came they did not use a gun to arquire the shops from the owns.
Resurrection212: Ngwa Tribe The Ngwa tribe is the largest tribe in South-eastern Nigeria. It is believed that the word “Ngwa” is coined from the word “Ngwa Ngwa” which means quickly.
The Ngwas can be found in an area that shares boundaries with Owerri and Mbaise on the on the west, Ikot-Ekpene and Abak on the east, Ukwa on the south and Umuahia on the north. These tribe is settled in an area in old Aba. They have a population of about a million people and occupy an area of 2,300km square. The people of Ngwa are majorly farmers. A very few women from this tribe take part in Akwete cloth weaving.
It is believed that the Ngwa people are cannibals. Although a lot of people are yet to drop such belief, there are no proofs. The Ngwa people feed on “Akpu” (processed cassava) and Ukazi soup. They are predominantly Christians and dress like other Igbo tribes. The women tie two wrappers on blouses while the men tie wrappers and put on regular shirts.
Ohafia Tribe Ohafia is local government area in Abia state, it is also one of the tribes in this state. The Ohafia people were known to be mighty warriors in pre-colonial days. Their history is one identity that they seem to be very proud of. Up till today, they still have the warrior’s cap and young men from this tribe still wear it around.
People in Ohafia speak Igbo. They are predominantly farmers and Christians. Their mode of dressing is not so different from that of other Igbo tribes. Their men tie wrappers under a traditionally made top. This attire is incomplete without a cap. Ohafia women tie two wrappers on a blouse.
In the past, Ohafia men were known to be mercenaries of war. However, in more recent times, they farm and trade. Also, processed Cassava and soup is known to be the major food of people from this region.
Abiriba Tribe Abiriba is one of the tribes in Abia state. It is located in Ohafia local government area. Just like Ohafia tribe, people from Abiriba were known to be warriors in ancient times. Upon arriving in the area which they now occupy, the war skills of this tribe facilitated their settlement.
The Abiribas bear some similarities to some non-Igbo tribes in Cross Rivers state. Myth has it that they migrated from somewhere in Cross Rivers and then settled in Abia.
People from Abiriba have plantain porridge as a staple and dress like other Igbo tribes. Their men put on shirts on wrappers, while the women wear two wrappers over a blouse.
They are mostly farmers. Also Christianity is the dominant religion of this tribe.
Aro Tribe The Aros are a tribe that can be found in modern day Arochukwu Local government area. They are a people of mixed origin, dialect and culture. They bear a lot of similarities with a non-Igbo tribe called Ibibio. Although they speak Igbo language, their dialect is a little difficult to understand by the average Igbo. The Aros have a very rich cultural heritage. They are known for their Ekpe society, a cult group which was very dominant in pre-independence Aro.
Present day Aros are predominantly Christians and farmers. They are known for wearing George and feed on processed cassava and soup that is very rich in fish and assorted bush meats.
Ohuhu Tribe Ohuhu is a tribe located in present day Umuahia North LGA. It is believed that the people of Ohuhu did not migrate from anywhere. Supporting this claim are the presence of abandoned settlements. However, there is another claim that states that people of Ohuhu migrated from different parts of Imo such as Nekede and Obowo.
The people of Ohuhu do not possess a very rich cultural heritage, they are predominantly traders and Christians. This tribe is not different from other Igbo tribes in its mode of dressing as well as its food.
Mbaise is geopolitical amalgamation of five originally independent clans namely; Abgaja, Ahiara, Ekwereazu, Ezinihitte and Oke-Uvuru, located between latitude 5 to 60 North and Longitude 7 to 7.50 East and covering a mass area of about 500 square kilometers.Mbaise culture is rich in music and Igbo dance. Music is played on the wood xylophone, hand piano, long short and slit drums, pots, gongs, bamboo horn and calabash. There are dances for childbirth, marriage, funerals, communal labor, and other social occasions.
Why is it that someone will just wake and start writing nonsense, educated illiterate just simple research you would have found out that there is a difference between tribe and clans.
God1stson: Was the same treatment meted to MNK meted to Sunday. Or don't you know that anything Igbo takes unusual dimension in Nigeria. I will not obey his order but the truth is would you rather have him killed if he stayed in Nigeria. The guy has paid his dues. so don't compare apples and oranges. all I demand apart from secession is a restructured Nigeria, where every region takes her destiny in her hands and pay tribute to the government. Anything less than that we will dancing in circus even retrogress till eternity. DONT PRAY 4 NIGERIA TO BE GOOD, RATHER PRAYER THAT GOD VISITS THE FOUNDATION OF THIS COUNTRY SO THAT EVERY WRONG FOUNDATION WILL BE DISMANTLED AND REBUILT.
I agree with you that anything Igbo always takes an unusual dimension in Nigeria, but as an Igbo man, I love the idea of Biafra and also love restructuring because to me both are, win, win. But for restructuring to happen in Nigeria The East, West, Middle Belt, and south south leaders must as a matter of urgency come out in unison to threaten the existence of Nigeria with either we restructure or we disintegrate and stand by their words (by fire by force lol) or they will never get the restructuring. Diplomacy in the country called Nigeria is dead and buried, that is why when some Nigerians criticize MNK on the way he is going about his Biafran quest I laugh because MNK knows Nigeria in the back of his hands, had it been that the Igbo leaders joined with MNK at the time MNK was in Nigeria use him as a bargaining chip for restructuring and go to the west, middle belt and south-south believe me by now we would have on our way in restructuring Nigeria because the agitation for Biafra by MNK resuscitated the clamoring for restructuring again in Nigeria.
helinues: My concern is about Lagos state Kanu mentioned...
What's the business of Agbero with flying a plane?
First, the headline was misleading, second, the statement was for the Igbos in Lagos, and third, the last paragraph was clearly soliciting not commanding other sections of the country to join them.
"We equally request our fellow comrades in Yoruba, Middle Belt, and other Christians living in the far North to solidarize with us in the event as we honor all those who have paid the supreme price in our struggle for total freedom.” I don't know what you all again in always turning straightforward statements upside down just to fit your narrative.
QuotaSystem: Dead Propaganda from frustrated ipobs
It was Santa Claus that introduced Decree 34.
If not for Santa Nigeria would have still had its regions intact.
Gowan had an ample opportunity to kill decree 34, Buhari did not implement the 2014 Confab Jonathan left for him, Gowan would have done the same but he went ahead with the creation of states.

Why misleading the public, just a little research would have cleared all the falsehood 2.2Billion dollar nonsense. Anambra State signed an MOU with a Chinese company to build an (airport city) there is a difference between just an airport and an airport city but the Chinese company back out from the deal, then in the year 2020 Anambra state budgeted 6billion Naira, Naira not dollars to start the project 2021 budget yet to be released but the airport is not even up to 250 million dollars but you are here with your billions falses information.
SlayerForever: When constructing this kind of high level projects can red patches like the one in the picture be covered up completely. Perhaps with interlocks or something else? It looks unsightly in the background.
Jaaqbruce: but IPOB gave same threat over Ikonso death and 2000 human heads! So annoying that Igbos that are known to always leave outside SE are same people attacking others in SE! Igbos buys massive lands in other regions but fret when others buy in Igboland! Never know Igbos are this dumb...so disappointed
Please where is the location of the land you bought or trying to buy in the Southeast or you close your mouth? Fulani don't buy land in the southeast they take it and there are no inch of lands in the southeast that are not owned by individuals or the government they Fulani's who lives in the forest in the southeast are all criminals Nigerian constitution frowned at stealing when you take what does not belong to you, you are a thief and trespassing is also a criminal offense and that is what they are known for, that will not be said about the Igbos, you yourself said it they buy.
