free13: Hope Nigeria will not end like Morocco and DRC.
I seriously fear o. Not losing any game, and not qualifying either. Both, like Nigeria, entered 3rd game, with 2 prior draws.

Hmmmnnn, knock out.

This one that teams that drew their first two games ended up drawing last game again and being knocked out (Morocco and DRC), I fear for Naija o!

All the teams that qualified so far won a game before final game, except Cape Verde. Hmmnnnnn.

9ja voice: a clear picture of how average core-northern muslim see christians.

he did not know when he voice it out.

you cant keep secret for a long time
He wasn't actually the author of the tweet, he retweeted and added 'LWKMD'. Although he has as his profile message 'retweets are not endorsements', for something as sensitive as this, it is easy to imput endorsement to such retweet, much more he added LWKMD. It was insensitive of him, but sometimes, we all get caught up in such 'misyarn' when we let down our guard on the internet. Not an excuse though.
Family › Re: Think Before You Send Your Kids Abroad by Jarus(m): 4:48pm On Jan 28, 2013
Good points made in a crude manner. Sounded like someone shouting., almost defeating the message. A little better presentation (devoid of abusive, incoherent language) would have passed the message better.
Car Talk › Re: Thread For Toyota Users And Lovers by Jarus(m):
A Toyota user here. Used 2 Honda products (Civic 2004 and Accord 2004 EOD) in the past before switching to Toyota SUV - 4runner 2005 early last year. Enjoying it so far.

I think Toyota do far better SUVs than Honda. But almost at par for salon cars.

Jakumo: The pilot did a marvellous job of stabilizing the aircraft after engine failure. His hands were full, in dealing with that emergency, so he could not be expected to deliver a running commentary to the passengers while he battled to circle the crippled bird back to the airport.
LOL at commentary

Seun: @Jarus: I really appreciate your support. Please consider participating in the next debate, since it's now possible!!

Please check out this thread and give me your thoughts https://www.nairaland.com/1177398/official-politics-weekly-debate-1
I'm in for it. Let me just offer advice from the sideline. If we have too many hands actively running the debate, it becomes cumbersome (divergence of thoughts, especially when you need to make light-speed decisions in the course of teh exercise). You and Afam can do the active controlling, supported by OAM4J, while I advise and mobilize. Too many hands can be counterproductive.
Politics › Re: Official Politics Weekly Debate #1 - Debaters Wanted by Jarus(m): 12:44pm On Jan 28, 2013
Let's give Seun and the organisers the needed cooperation please. I'm also in, from the sideline. I'm personally impressed Seun is taking active part himself.
Politics › Re: NL Monthly Political Debate by Jarus(op): 10:32am On Jan 28, 2013
Afam4eva: The rationale is unconnected with the fact that Judges will always be biased for a particular argument. Take for instance you're a judge for a debate topic titled "Is Garr1 the best food in the world?". You're most likely to score the person supporting the motion high because you're also a garr1 advocate and will most likely agree with some of his points. I hope i'm making sense.
5 judges can hardly be wrong. Plus for all the past editions, there is consensus among the audience/contributors that the judges-chosen winners posted the best performance. Katsumoto and Deepsight.

But let's not go back and forth. There is always a room for change and improvement. Let's hope the modified approach produce superior result.
Politics › Re: NL Monthly Political Debate by Jarus(op): 10:26am On Jan 28, 2013
The event has to be a weekly event in order to significantly impact the forum. We are streamlining the process to make it work on a weekly basis.
I pray so.

Meanwhile, let's all move on. Let's contribute to make the current handlers succeed and I'm in for it too.
Sports › Re: Ethiopia Vs Nigeria - AFCON 2013 (0 - 2) On 29th January 2013 by Jarus(m): 7:33am On Jan 28, 2013
To avoid CIV, our best bet is to hope Zambia beat BF by narrow margin while we beat Ethiopia by wider margin. That way, SE and Zambia will be on 5 points, and SE first by goal difference.BF sacrificed

Alternatively is to pray for BF - Zambia draw and Eagles win Ethiopia by at least 4 goals margin (which I can't see these SE doing) both SE and BF come to 5 points and SE first by goal difference. But this is a tougher alternative. Else SE come second and meet bus stop in CIV.

Good modifications, but frankly, weekly event is a DOA. I'm talking from experience. Initial gragra will soon fade out, it is unsustainable.

HumbledbYGrace: Correction Mukina hates anything that is non nigerian or european!!!
Wrong.
After his native country, CIV is Mukina's 2nd love, even ahead of Nigeria. In fact, she pokes hatred jokes at Nigeria, though just playing devil's advocate most times.

Well, me I no like Ghana. I go ghanaweb go knock them on their home soil.
