WritePal: These "results" flying around are unofficial. Plus these are the early hours post-election. The real, shocking results are streaming in Sunday evening to Monday evening.
And APC and Buhari should totally forget SE/SS. Voting him out is a holy vow in those regions.
But more importantly, it is a prophesy by a confirmed man of God close to me. I am 100% sure Buhari will not be returned - even though he'll initially want to stubbornly hang on. But he'll be forced to handover to the president-elect eventually.

Use Google. Luxury buffs don't care much for reliability as they do for status/prestige Benz remains a more prestigious brand than Lexus and Toyota. |

alezzy13: As in!! I virtually every corner now, esp the es 300 and 350.
I actually thought it was price, but it's not significantly cheaper than the more popular Camry. Likewise durability and ruggedness, it's generally similar to other Toyota products, at least from the owners I've interacted with.
I think it's just the trending car for now I think it's seen as a cheap luxury (compared to an equally trending but more expensive Benz). |

Politics › Re: "Buhari Will Win 2019 Elections" - Eurasia Group, Foreign Firm Says by Jarus(m): 10:25pm On Feb 08, 2019 |
AyakaDunukofia: The group's reasons for a possible Buhari trumph is very transient and lacked a good understanding of Nigeria's demographic sentiments and geo-politics.
Firstly, they were shamefully wrong on South East. The governors there do not have the charisma to redirect the electorate on the already anti Buhari sentiments.
Secondly, the 'greater control of 23 states' by the Apc they alluded does not have a corresponding sentiment on the ground. Example, Benue is amongst the 23. Is Ortom going to force Benueans to vote Apc, even though he is now in pdp. Imo state is among the 23, will Buhari win Imo as well? A Buhari victory in Kano for instance would be with what margin?
How will Buhari compensate the Kwankwaso factor that was not there in 2015? Where will he get the votes to make up the deficit from Kwankwaso?
Thirdly, this group got it also wrong on Wike. Wike has been in practice, a visible mobilizer for Atiku. Saraki is doing well in Kwara shoring his base.
Fourthly, the analysis is obviously a hurried paid, cooked up one because there is no indication the pdp lacked funds in view of the boisterous campaign they've been having in the past two weeks. Therefore, this analysis is at best a political joke. Their analysis is sound. 1, You factored out Benue and Imo counted as APC controlled states because the governor have little or no say in the choice of electorate in those states. Fair enough. But apply same to Sokoto and Gombe which were counted for PDP but which are obviously states electorate will vote for Buhari. You can see it cancels out. Kwara, my state, is also counted for PDP. It's 50/50 in Kwara and APC has a slight edge in the presidential. 2, You can't rule out the governor factor. It wont win a state for APC, but lack of commitment to Atiku cause by SE governors is something PDP should worry about. 3, Kwankwaso factor in Kano is not significant at presidential level. It works for local politics (e.g against the governor), but not with Buhari on ballot. Buhari will still clean Kano. Eurasia analysis is informed. |
