The first recount was just that, a RECOUNT but not an AUDIT, which was what should have been the case since mail-in ballots were being contested. No signatures were verified which therefore means that the recount was useless and doesn't count. It was mere formality. And it will favor Trump at the SCOTUS. Georgia Governor, who is a Republican, played the Democrats, it was a very intelligent political move. It has created a very big "?" in the credibility of the recount because the signatures were not audited or verified, and signature verification is a major criteria for validating mail-in ballots.
