This is my basic problem with Nigerians : they hate reading. Have you gone through his thread? Oga, before concluding, please go through his thread and see how he shamelessly supported masturbation. Even in this post you are quoting, he is indirectly supporting masturbation by saying "... Masturbation done moderately is better than fornication..." . So what's your argument on? How can it be better to pick one sin (no matter its nature) as a substitute for another? Think!

Stop misquoting him. He didnt chose mastubation as an alternative to fornication on religion ground. He chose it on moral and health ground. If you want us to start talking about the religion perspective, then their aint much to say. In religion, u can only have sex with ur legal wife, nothing more. Let me address two things here

2.Masturbation is a sin(you said so yourself). So why support sin? Is there anything like big and small sin with God? No. So why remain in the devil's tent...?

Okay, let me assume that it is comprehension problem. I would make it very simple for everyone to understand.

The OP said he started masturbation because he was avoiding HIV. But now, he is addicted to it. He wants to stop because he is finding it difficult to last in sex (fornication) or maintain his sexual exploration with women.

So, I told him that if he can moderate his masturbation, it would be better than entering back to fornication.

Why? Because, masturbation is safer when it comes to contracting STDs and other problems associated with fornication.

I told him to stop Masturbation and all other sins if he wants to live a holy life. I am against stopping masturbation and replacing it with fornication.

I am not claiming to be holy or claiming that my advice must be taken. I repeat, when it comes to safe sex, masturbation is better.

When it comes to whether masturbation is a sin or not, it is complicated. All I know is that to live a holy life, one has to avoid masturbation and all sins.

So I adviced him to continue with masturbation in a moderate way instead of going back to fornication. But if he actually wants to be holy, he should quit both masturbation and all sins. QED.

The Federal Minister of Health has said that majority of the cases remain asymptomatic. Is any research or enquiry ongoing as to why this is the case? Is the percentage is over 90% y the continuous lockdown? Couldn't it be a sign that this isn't a threat to us?
