Ozonna: My take on this matter is that Buhari scored an own goal when he made that statement. GEJ's media team led by a seasoned journalist Reuben Abati are good. They did there job well here. I'm sure that by 2015,Buhari's statement will be translated into 250 nigerian languages. Every Nigerian literate & illiterate,ireespective of the Tribe/religion will be reminded of Buhari's statement.

This maybe the end of CPC as a national party as we know it. Even Tinubu led ACN may even distance the party from CPC because of Buhari's carelessness.

Earlier, Lawal said the factory built with Korean Technology to the highest technological and operational standards can process rice which would compare with the best quality rice from any part of the world.


He added that the facility, if operated optimally could produce between 350,000 and 400,000 bags of rice per year.


He said the target of the state was to increase local rice production and enhance food security, saying the country presently depends largely on Thailand and Pakistan for rice which according to him, increases the food security risk level
