Nice one Anambra! Hope you put the revenue to good use!!! |
caseless: Dis clamour 4 biafran state has cajouled nigerians into believin dat success and hope lies in disintegration or breakage. I don taya sef. Make they free dem, abeg.VERY WELL SAID!!! |
jude33084: H̲̅€ didn't even take his time to analyze the situation before commenting.Abi o! |
Acidosis: now that he arrested 2 military officers for driving on BRT lane, Nigeria is free from bad governance, looting of public funds. Lagos is now free from corruption! Halleluyah!"Little drops of water will, one day, make an ocean." If this singular act can be propagated all over Nigeria, Nigeria will be better! Your mentality epitomizes everything wrong with Nigeria!!! |
Acidosis: hahahaha. . . Cool down oga. Since you're tied down to lagos, can't think outside lagos then I need not to argue further.SHUT UP, DONKEY!!! You no get shame?! |
Its also possible he is still in secondary school! Product of a failed system. ![]() |
Acidosis: I regret exchanging words with you. . .never knew you have a loose moral.I followed your comments from page 0 and I concluded, without any iota of doubt that YOU ARE IRRESPONSIBLY DAFT and MIRACULOUSLY STUPI.D! In fact, you intelligence is a miracle yet to be understood by the science community! Haba, you sure say you be human being?! ![]() What exactly is your point?! WE ARE IN TROUBLE!!! When will these sick sycophants stop defending incompetence! Are you not tired of suffering?! |
Rossikk: I heard they did have their way. I hear the new bill is more favourable to the multinationals like Shell, than the previous one.pls explain further... |
afam4eva: You see what i'm talking about. Even though the most beautiful cities in Nigeria are Calabar, Enugu, Owerri, Jos etc, majority of people will still prefer to live in lagos, Abuja, PH etc.But Afam, do you think people in the UK love London like that? Certainly not! In fact, they prefer the outskirts like Milton Keynes, Kent and as far as Manchester etc but London is attractive because of its activities, infrastructures, among others. The same can be said of Lagos and other Nigerian states. No matter what, most (not all) people will still prefer Lagos to Ibadan, Delta, Imo etc because of the same hustle and bustle they dislike. Also, Lagos is a mini-working-Nigeria. That alone attracts people. Its only in Lagos you'll hear that a person's grandmother is Hausa, father Igbo, mother Yoruba etc. In the mist of the Lagos chaos, there is this subtle sense of ethnic unity and most of all, an atmosphere of PROGRESS! |
afam4eva: Enugu is a nice place to raise a family but not a nice place to make money. So, where do you think people(Nigerians) will naturally go to? I wish Nigeria were like America where your location will not be a hindrance to your success.I don't understand your question but I'll give it a try. If you mean preferred destination (overall), I'll take Lagos, Abuja and Rivers. In terms of just money, business and commercial activities, Lagos, Onitcha, Rivers, Delta, AkwaIbom etc (all oil states). |
bayooooooo: There is no comparison, Enugu is by far better than Osogbo. I have been to both cities. Even from the mere fact that Enugu is more of a regional capital should make the difference stick.Hahaha. I think so as well. I'll take your word for it as I have never been to both places!!! |
afam4eva: Most people will always prefere lagos even if it Theoodore Orji becomes the governor of Lagos. lagos is in a league of it's own and until other commercial cities poses challenges lagos, then it will remain like that for a long time to come because people go where the money is and not really where the heart lies.I agree with you. I know a few people (mostly southerners) that have relocated to Enugu in recent years. Enugu is up and coming. From what I have seen (pics and vids) and what she has told me, it will be an ideal place to raise a family. Very quiet and serene! |
AjanleKoko: Not true. Not been to Enugu; however my spouse talks highly of the state. I am guessing it will be better than Osogbo. Nevertheless, she still prefers Lagos. |
afam4eva: Which one be dedicated road? They had a mass transit bus simple. I'm not expecting you to know because many people hardly know what's going on outside lagos. I won't blame Lagosians that hype Fashola because they've not had it so good. But they should know that some states have been enjoying relative goodwill before Fashola came on board in lagos.Bros, don't embarrass yourself! ![]() |
@ Kettykin and co If you think Nigerians (no matter the ethnic group) regret what happened in 1967, you better think again. The more you rub the war on our faces (even though it has nothing to do with anything happening today), the more suspicious we become of your real intentions and the more disunited we become. Don't you guys ever get it?! What will make every ethnic group in Nigeria fight you? Do you think every ethnic group is stu.pid except you guys? Look inward instead of pointing fingers. Now is the time to form a new order not bring back the past! My two pence! |
inquisitiv: I'm IGBO, I rarely comment on nairaland despite joing in 2008 cos I don't believe in talking. But having gone thru dis thread, I feel d need to comment and mayb I will now form d habit of commenting. First of all, I'm igbo, full blooded nwa ala, and I have a message to my igbo brodas, dos of us born in d 80's. Its time we critically analyse things oursleves and not become sentimental. D coup of Nzegwo et al was a license to d pogrom dat ensured. My grandfada, fada, and my fada's three brodas ( my uncles) fought during d war and my grndfada ws a col in d biafran army, thank God dey all came back alive though one had a bullet in his thigh for 16 yrs. But my kweshion is dis, y did Nzeogwu kill north, western politicians and sudden all eastern politician travelld. For me dats crap. If u were on d oda side wud u bliv dat shit! Imagine if one major does dat & u have all eastern politicians killed now and miraculous d northern guys all went abroad wat will our reaction be. D basis for our calamity ws laid by dat selective coup! Granted der has bn killings in 1953 and 57 of ibos in d north but why not fight it in dat context, y give official and government sanctioned reasons for further & more sosphiscted killns. Listen my brodas, we were wrong in our orchestrating dat first loopsided coup. We shd hv fought d northern blood thirst ppl street by street, man to man and shdnt hv taken d fight to d government officials. Nzeogwu et al said d politicials were corrupt, mind u micheal okpara and oda igbo politicians were also very corrupt. Ve u taken time to read of d palm oil scandal, its jst like saying d crude oil scandal of 2day. I don't believe in emotions and sentiments, bullshit is bullshit. B4 dis my yarn gets too long d jos ppl shd get their asses up and defend their land! I will talk more and more in dis thread...siThank you! |
What most people don't realise is that the problem in Nigeria then and today surpasses the silly Nigeria-Biafra fracas. Nigeria did not start in 1967 for crying out loud. You blame Gowon, why not appropriate some blame to the man who forced us to be a Nation while ditching his Southern counterparts? Why do you like playing victims when actually, it was of your own doing ![]() Please, spare us the drama and lets tackle the issue jare! Even if its for Nigeria to split to North and South, so be it but as things stand now Niaja is not splitting anytime soon! Too many people are benefiting from the system! |
These internet biafrans have hijacked another promising thread . . . oh well! ![]() |
BeraBera: Mr Dino Melaye is just being disgruntled because he's no longer in power. He's just a busy-body scratching here & there looking 4 Jonathan this, Jonathan that. Investigations and the probe are still on and proper prosecutions would be made at d appropriate time. Its so funny how all of you registered on Nairaland around the same time ( between 19th to 30 of june 2012). Bloody paid agents!!! ![]() |
Billyonaire: Free Cocoa, must the President be brought into every discussion ?Statements like this really annoy me!!! ![]() If we can't call the president who should we call, me?? Or perhaps you?! Look, if our president cannot handle his position in the country as our leader, he should not have contested PERIOD! |
Best cities Lagos Calabar Abuja Enugu etc In order! |
jmaine: Legitimate reasons . .i did say the same if i was in his shoes . . . . .You too dey fear BH?? Lailai! My this no my oga Jmaine! |
Hahaha. . . .who wan die!!! ![]() |
PHIPEX: I beg to disagree Mr Governor. I enjoyed your responses but the bolded statement above is not true, there are several local plants that can deliever atleast half of that number of buses if the Lagos state govt was willing to patronise them.No mind am. Innoson is there o! I love Fashola but this is the time we need to go local with innoson! ![]() |
@ifihearam Point is, you are stressing yourself over nothing! Only paid agents do that! |
