Well done.
Say no more, bros.

@Beaf
the propaganda here with your other IDs will do us no good. The reality on ground is VERY different from what you tell people.
Kpogede is a man on ground and he is telling you the TRUTH! https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-710432.0.html
Ilajes fought with MEND because it was a fight for justice for all oil producing community. . . .
He who has ear, let him hear!

Before I digress, the attempt to ethnicise this protest or turn it into an oil battle will not work!

The era of divide and rule has ended. Now is the time to demand accountability. This is not about GEJ or ND as you make it. I have been praying for GEJ so I do not dislike him. This is more than him. This is about leadership!

What is the point of a total split if the new countries will be exactly like Nigeria, I ask?? What the Eff would an Anioma or Ikwerri be doing in ND republic?? What the eff will an Itsekiri and/or Ilaje be doing in ND republic??

Just a question? Who are the Edo peeps? Edo Yoruba or Edo Ibo? Please enlighten me, i don't claim to be well versed, just wondering?
A group of people that produced the wonderful dynasties we have in the West. From the Oduduwa revolution to the Olu Ginuwa. I think they also produced the Obi of Onicha etc (not to sure though. I need to read up on that).

Who will remain in the SS.
Bruv, I don't know but one thing is CERTAIN, Edos (probably Uhrobo and whoever) and Itsekiris will NOT be in it!

What is going on now is just unity by convenience! As in, we have a common enemy. Once that is gone, welcome to HELL! As the USA will play the ethnic card to see groups fight eachother to the finish because of OIL. NO WAY!
PoliticsRe: Heading Towards Arab Spring?: Senators Attacked! by jason123: 12:59am On Jan 12, 2012
If given the opportunity, the new "majority" in any republic will be do worse than what the Hausas have done in Nigeria.

No one wants to be a slave to anyone so its better we all go our own way if there is no southern Nigeria.

I can't just help but foresee a DARK future in ND rep. Where oil wars will be the order of the day! Villages will raid eachother to take back "ancestral land" and control oil blocks etc.

May God forbid my people in such a republic!

I know, but SE won't have issue.

I see a big battle in the Gulf of Guinea.

And it will be between the SW and SS.

I heard the US positioned a WAR-SHIP there.
What issues? That the Edo and Itsekiri peeps won't want to join the ND rep?? PPPLLLLLSSSSSSS! No one should force anyone to any republic. If there is no Southern Nigeria, old allies would be formed, ancestry lineages will link up!. Even anioma will join the SE. Uhrobo will follow the Edo peeps.

PoliticsRe: Heading Towards Arab Spring?: Senators Attacked! by jason123: 12:20am On Jan 12, 2012
If this is taking an ethnic dimension. I say, GOD BLESS O.B.A! As Kpogede will say!
See how people are shouting oil up and down. The SE and the SW has oil, the ND has oil. The WHOLE SOUTH HAS OIL! This is not about oil people! Even Lagos has oil yet, its not regarded as an oil producing state.

So guys, the argument about oil has been defeated! Secondly, this protest is about accountability! This is our opportunity to put this country right. It is not about GEJ or ND or the rubbish some of you are posting.

Finally the youths are waking up!

If not, God bless "OBA"!

Nice info but Chyz*, I know where you are coming from even though people like "onlytruth" can see it. Anyway, goodluck. I guess the SS and the SW will lead this one!
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Kills 4 Igbo Traders trying to flee from Yola by jason123: 8:08pm On Jan 11, 2012
Chyz, for how long will the Igbo be quiet?! If this is indeed true, there must be more to this that meets the ordinary eye.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Kills 4 Igbo Traders trying to flee from Yola by jason123: 8:06pm On Jan 11, 2012
Okay, this is unbecoming.
Its like there is SYSTEMATIC killing of Southerners ESPECIALLY Igbos. Are we back in 1966??
Why are they targeting Igbos and leaving other southerners out?? Why are they trying to "transfer" the fight to the Igbo? Are they scared of the Niger-delta and Yorubas?

I was of the opinion that Igbos should be quiet as this might be a ploy to destablise the country and use the Igbo's blood to cleanse the land but this is more or less genocide against a people! And for how long can one be quiet? Even me, as an Itsekiri, is pained by this.

There is something I have noticed within the last few days, the Igbos are a VERY PATIENT LOT! If this was happening to the NDeltan, Northerners would have found the ND to hot to live in. If it was the Yorubas, mile 12, yaba, shangisha and Sagamu would be boiling with northerner's blood.

Is someone trying to force us to a civil war?? Are they trying to lay all the blame on one ethnic group, the Igbo?? Does someone want the Igbo to fight a civil war for them??

GEJ, what are you doing about this?? I know its not easy but GEJ, you are not helping matters by your recent actions. May God grant you wisdom!

May the family of the dead find comfort in the Lord! Amen!

PoliticsRivers Govt Not Subsidising Petrol – Commissioner by jason123(op): 12:02pm On Jan 11, 2012
PORT HARCOURT – RIVERS State Government, yesterday, said it was not subsidising the cost of petrol in the state.

Commissioner of Information, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, who made the clarification, said the state government only agreed to assist independent petroleum marketers with what she called bridging finance, noting that this would be paid back by the marketers.

She said it would be a revolving loan with no interest and would run for about six months within which the pump price of petrol would have crashed based on market forces. She said the marketers agreed at a meeting with the state government to dispense petrol at N137 per litre, adding that government would also provide security for petroleum tankers to ensure that products were not diverted from the state.

The commissioner said government had also set up a committee to be headed by Prof. Nimi Briggs to acquire buses through a special arrangement from development institution to be distributed to road transport workers in the state. The buses would be paid for under a human friendly arrangement.

Ibim explained that government would set up seven discount markets round the state to ease the burden of buying food items.
