Don't stop at Church being a "social organization". Go ahead and state the essence of its existence right from inception, and do not digress. If you do so, you will realise that the spirituality that u asked me to omit is one of the fundamental principles in the institutionalization of Church.

Go to a Club or whatever if you want social life. Do not change the motive of the Church.

Go to petecostal, you will see drama group. They are other groups, but let me just emphasis on this one.

This drama society brings laughter and relaxation to members. Not like religion of mary which you will still be holding prayers in the meeting after the normal service. Wetin be dat abeg!

The drama unit, also expose one to the outside environment, not only just the church now. It takes your thinking to now knowing top players in the movie industry and their lifestyle. Am not saying it will inspire you to join the movie industry, but it will help educate you about the outside world apart from the church. Are you seeing the direction am trying to explain now? I hope you understand though.

Sometimes petecostal churches do organize this "Single youths get-together gatherings" or "Relationship workshops and seminars!"

See eh, all these petecostal programs and groups can even help one's networking. You will get to know important people that matters because petecostal tend to include the church sermons together with the outside world!

You are missing the point of being Christian in the first place. The Church is supposed to birth your spiritual growth process, not that it should quench your thirst for social inclusion and exhibitions.

Moreover, the Societies, Associations, and Groups that we have in the Catholic Church are decentralised, each having its mission and roles. If i have a Church mentality such as yours, i could join the Catholic Youth Org of Nigeria (CYON), where i would initiate those fantasies of yours and gear towards its achievement.

Lets i put into oblivion, if you wish to brace more attention, find a better criticism about the Catholic Church, not this disgrace of a write-up you pasted.
