moca: D guy is very dull. Simple. Not smart at all. Opportunities r at every corner unless we r not looking.
I will enter 9th mile with my rugged bag and dressing, wait for luxury buses going to kano. I don't pay for seat. I stand.stand with all those suya guys breathing all over me. By d time u reach in d morning,ur leg will be so stiff and swollen. Until I started making enuf money, I will not go to enugu and pay for a seat(even select where to stay sef), still it didn't stop me from doing ajebo. My wares are always inside my rugged handbag and yep,i made money. So much to be able to take care of my ailing mum for yrs. Feed her, cloth her. What didn't I do? At times u will leave school and stay with her for months. Did I get favours along d line? Yes cos God knows a clean heart.
D first time I went to kano, our motor reached kano around twelve midnight and we all alighted.i don't know come in hausa but I still made it.
Guy, u dey fall hand because of small small free money. Tufia. Exactly...... Hardwork Hardwork Hadwork I actually hate feeling sorry for people with sob stories If we accept that life is full of struggles so we should be ready to overcome those struggles when they come knocking It's simply a mindset |

dominique: Here is appealing to well meaning Nigerians to come to aid of Ms Folake diagnosed with cancer. Below is the thread started by her brother with proof.
https://www.nairaland.com/2110709/please-safe-folake-urgent#30084531 We are sorry to hear about the medical challenges that Ms Folake is currently facing. As you are aware, we are currently dealing with a complex medical case (DJdola's stage 4 cancer) which has somewhat restricted any chance of us working on concurrent cases. We understand that this might not be the news you expect but we will continue to support your sister with prayers. Regards TeHN |

You think i put that up to collect people's hard earned money?? ma'am nannymcphee i am really sorry, Sir Pickabeau i am sorry, to everyone who got hurt one way or the other i am very sorry i did this because i have nothing else to do and i needed to pay my fees Listen dude, you are actually better off dropping out cos what exactly are you going to use botany for if we assume you manage to graduate? You are already struggling to put yourself through school wasting money that could have been put to good use in the process. Education does not guarantee you income and secured future. Hardwork does so you ought to think deep and reconsider for crying out loud |

segzy14: i am in ikeja now and would leave in an hour time, still waiting What exact Info do you need Sir. Sorry for the late reply Just give them the basic background Info and hopefully that should be enough jaybee3: How do you know which chemo drugs to use bearing in mind we don’t know where the cancer is coming from? – They know from the ascetic fluid cytology report that the cancer is an adenocarcinoma. Chemo is systemic and they will use the drug that kills adenocarcinomas. According to him, adenocarcinomas usually come from the liver and the colon and since the colon is clear (from colposcopy results) its more likely from the liver and from previous results a mass was seen in the liver
How will you know for certain that it’s from the liver A liver biopsy would give a 100% result, but they have no intention of further distressing the patient by doing a liver biopsy as they already have all the info that they need |

chaircover: Thats even worse I lost out on an job once becasue I answered that question wrong in the interview (I asked for feedback after the interview)
Always say upfront that you cant do something or you forsee problems or you wont meet your targets and make sure that you offer solutions at the same time
So you say "I will be on leave and that may affect my delivery date, however I am happy to work from home for a few hours while I am at the airport or get a collegue to cover for me.
Even if you wont do it, you have shown that you are prepared to make sacrifices and are aware of the importance of hitting deadlines.
Never wait until its too late for solutions to work before you let your manager know whatever issues you are facing in reaching deadlines.
Osisi did the right thing by letting her manager know that she couldnt work with that scheldue but I dont know if she went a step further to offer solutions.
I learnt the lesson and I am one of the most valued members of my team . . . sometimes its just perception. Not that any one person is working harder than the other. Office politics in the corporate world is a whole course on its own. I think the best way to answer question of productivity against stretching resource is: 1)You will first look at all the outstanding tasks to see if you can fit the new one into it 2)You will consider prioritising the tasks with the help of your manager or the requester so you can focus on what’s important 3)If you are unable to prioritise the tasks, you will demand for extra resource to help meet the tight schedule They really just want to find out your thought process in crisis evaluation/resolution. The interview panel already know quality will suffer if you go on about putting extra hours (You are expected to be flexible with changing demands as an employee) and then claim stress at the end of the month. No responsible company will encourage working round the clock to deliver things. |
