mikeansy: Fashola is very irresponsible
For 8 years he did not know Agbaje was evading tax until the eve of election
He is clearly more concerned about Tinubu's interest than the public interest! Shut it.. Did you call Obama irresponsible when he ousted romney during elections that he was irresponsibly evading tax despite being a multi-millionaire? The elctorate need to know the true characters of those that seek to govern them period! If you has a responsible home owner in lagos state pay the same tax then why shouldn't he do the same? |

ileobatojo: Exactly. In a reasonable healthcare system, this would have been done already. His family really should be front and center in the decision making process to be honest. At this time, it doesn't even sound like any of them or even DJ know what's really going on or the prognosis which is quite shameful on the part of the doctors. DJ and the brother are in the know but no assurance that they understand the gravity of the situation. We are working on finding specific details of what palliative treatment offered at LCC entails. We will try and get a team together (possibly 2 field workers and any volunteer/volunteers willing to accompany them) to visit and present options to the family Cc: @ caracta |

gbadexy: sounds like a plan. l hope his mum has been availed of the donations and if palliative treatment isnt as costly as chemotherapy, can a more comprehensive empowerment plans be made to consolidate on quality of life. That's a given but can only be thought of once we have an agreed definitive plan of action concerning our primary responsibility |
Health › Re: RIP DJDOLA- We Will Miss You by jaybee3(m): 4:29pm On Jan 27, 2015 |
gbadexy: l apologise and take that back then. Apology accepted but let's ignore blame game going forward. This case has been challenging right from the start and the complexity is unfortunately persisting. What we need to do is come up with a firm plan that's in the best interest of DJ. LCC offers palliative treatment which we will try and get details so it can be considered as an option before any plan is endorsed |

gbadexy:
l had hinted at arranging a counceling session severally but l guessed people missed the point or are just playing ostrich. you may feel you are blunt though but a bit insensitive because even if you are right, its no proper reading it on the thread he follows. l blame tehn in thus regards also for not taking the initiative to get a qualified person to councel him. l did hint at it a couple if times on this thread. Finally, if we want to be sincere, chemo is not an option at this stage. more alternate treatment plans is welcomed and please leave the tb joshua suggestion out of the options. Why do you feel the need to throw us under the bus? We reported that one of the reasons for delaying our update was because DJ had to be told/counselled by LCC doctors. What exactly do you think his doctors would have told him? |

MoltenMagma: My guy forget all these grammer. My head can't process all these big medical terms. All I know is that he has cancer and from the report it is likely liver cancer. Gosh It would have been good if it was restricted to the liver but unfortunately it has spread to other regions hence why it's at stage 4 |
Health › Re: RIP DJDOLA- We Will Miss You by jaybee3(m): 2:30pm On Jan 27, 2015 |
MoltenMagma: So he has liver cancer?? Gosh. jaybee3: Did you even bother to read my post Mr or you are just on a whinning bender?
How do you know which chemo drugs to use bearing in mind we don’t know where the cancer is coming from? – They know from the ascetic fluid cytology report that the cancer is an adenocarcinoma. Chemo is systemic and they will use the drug that kills adenocarcinomas. According to him, adenocarcinomas usually come from the liver and the colon and since the colon is clear (from colposcopy results) its more likely from the liver and from previous results a mass was seen in the liver
How will you know for certain that it’s from the liver A liver biopsy would give a 100% result, but they have no intention of further distressing the patient by doing a liver biopsy as they already have all the info that they need |
Health › Re: RIP DJDOLA- We Will Miss You by jaybee3(m): 2:19pm On Jan 27, 2015 |
MoltenMagma: How can chemo be an option when the location/origin of the cancer hasn't been identified? Chemo in my opinion should be crossed out, and palliative treatment should be our focus. They primary location has been narrowed down to the liver but they don't want to perform a biopsy on the liver as it will make him weaker |

Originalsly: This is the arrogance that leads to all the back and forth on this thread. I've been asking and getting no response . Don't I know that you guys are not medical experts? You are the ones communicating with the doctors and serve as the middle men so when a question is directed to TeHN it is for TeHN to pass it on to the doctors and give a feedback. Now here you are telling me to call LCC. Did the doctors at LCC tell us about the 18 week chemo treatment? ...you guys told us...were you doctors then to tell us?...and now a question is asked and you can't give an answer because you are not doctors? In my first request for this info I specifically said I expected you to get the answers from the doctors...and here you are spewing what I wanted to avoid. If you weren't told nor asked about EXPECTED outcomes then just say so. I know no doctor would ever guarantee any outcome....but at least they should state their expectations and that's all I'm asking. I will try to ignore all the inconsequential gibberish you typed cos for a fact, i'd already told you on this same thread that the doctors expect him to respond to the planned chemo treatment. Why hound me further when you know they won't be able to give assurances on possible outcomes. At the end of the day they can only try!

remsonik: When is the first chemo session? I believe that we can communicate Craig's request to the doctors at LCC. I believe the hospital will give us a schedule once we formally notify them of our intention. We are only required to give them 24hrs notice. |

olu4life: @r231 from the way I could deduce the reply sent, chemo isn't even d way forward Medical people bia come and b of help here o Exactly but medically doctors are somewhat restricted to that as a way of controlling/eradicating the deadly thing with absolutely no guarantees. Most people with such prognosis are usually treated as an EoL patient It's very important that we all put heads together and endorse a plan ASAP since: 1) Hammed is very frail 2) There is the risk that it keeps spreading 3) We don't have any more time for arguments as it's very important that he embarks on whatever treatment plan the house endorses immdediately |

Originalsly: @TeHN......I'm asking yet again....what is the EXPECTED outcome of this 18 week full treatment?...is it that he would be pain free for the duration?...is it he would be cancer free?....is it the cancer would be beaten back to stage 1? Only you guys can answer this so can you do so before you fade into the background? We have repeatedly told you we are not his doctors. We have painstakingly relayed every single bit of information we hold but yet you keep asking us expected outcome when the patient has been diagnosed with a stage 4 cancer
Do you want us to cook up things for you because i'm struggling to understand your continuous hammering about this same issue.
We are not experts on predictive outcomes of medical cases and our expertise lays elsewhere!
BTW: Nothing stops you from calling the doctors at LCC to confirm if we've been econominical with information shared and ask any other specific questions you may have!
