With communication engineering, you had be restricted to telecoms or what not.
Analogue and digital Integrated circuit design might be the way as it provides more employment route.
Imperial is you best bet ma guy. Imperial on a CV means you are already guaranteed a thorough look of ur CV.
I hope you know you going to be doing modules like DSP and you have to be tops with mathlab. Imperial no be moin moin oh. I still have some books i can pass on sha

If u want to do general electrical/electronics engineering then go to southampton.

Southampton is tops for electrical electronics engineering blad
durham is more prestigious as a university but not tops in terms of engineering delivery

PS: I shud know dis cos ma first degree was in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
